Unreliable and Unprofessional Landlord
When we first moved in, we had a decent experience with Jan, he was friendly and responded quickly, especially in the beginning. But over time, several issues became clear, and unfortunately, our final impression was very different from how things started.
The apartment itself was not in good condition. It was clear that maintenance had been neglected over the years, many things were old and worn down, and basic upkeep seemed to be lacking. There were air bubbles on the walls, which raised concerns about possible moisture or mold, though this was never officially confirmed. Getting anything fixed usually took a long time, even when problems were reported.
We were also affected by loud neighbors, which made the living experience less comfortable.
After moving out, we tried to resolve a billing issue for heating, where we were charged a high amount despite being away from the apartment for over three months and having everything turned off. One radiator stayed warm the entire time, which we reported, but no action was taken. In the end, we were met with dismissive and unprofessional communication, with no willingness to listen or understand our side. That experience, especially from the administrator handling the case, made it clear that tenants are not treated with respect once they move out.
We’ve paid the amount, but we’re left with a very negative impression and cannot recommend JT Ejendomme based on how this situation was handled.
