Best pre hospital education provider in the Uk and Ireland, top quality trainers and equipment.

Good reviews typically consist of a string of superlatives followed by a cluster of stars. But sometimes a smaller specific example packs a more meaningful punch. If praise and stars is all you require before opting to use this company you can confidently proceed with a booking, they are excellent.
However, I have just competed a FREC3 courses taught by Adam, one of the roster of K2I paramedic trainers. Day 3 and we are reaching information input saturation point, in an unscripted group discussion mention was made of how a particular medical condition was portrayed in a recent Hollywood movie. Start of Day 4 and Adam interrupted the Powerpoint deck to play the relevant 1 minute clip from the movie… In a year or so I and other attendees may well forget the correct rescue breaths to compressions ratio for neo-natal infants, but I am confident none of us will ever miss the diagnostic signs on skin-tone and level of consciousness in a casualty suffering shock. A harder to impart but arguably much more vital piece of learning that a series of numerical ratios.
Good training is not about knowing your stuff, that’s certainly a requirement but training is helping students get what’s in your head and hands into the head and hands of your students. A trainer who finishes a long day at work but still goes home and puts effort into sourcing and clipping a bit of film just to help students embed a piece of information… that’s evidence that this company and its staff are serious about their commitment to meaningful training.

Recently did a MIRA course run by K2 EOC which was delivered extremely professionally, hugely informative and put over in such a relaxed and easy going manner. The learning experience was second to none and the additional practical experiences relayed by Michael really added to the overall acquiring of new medical knowledge. This course is a "must do" it is that good.

Michael’s knowledge of the medical world is phenomenal, literally has the answer for everything put across to him. His teaching delivery and methods is top class, can’t fault in any perspective. He puts it in laymen’s terms for ease of understanding and if your still unsure, he’ll deliver it 1 too 1 until you do.

The setting and equipment used to deliver the training is also top class, the most realistic training in a medical scenario I have received, by any training prover I’ve attended.

I would defiantly recommend K2 to anyone looking at attending one of their courses. You will not be disappointed.

Have completed FREC3 and currently participating in my FREC4 course with K2. The courses are designed and set out with participants engagement and enjoyment at the core, equally split between theory and practical with plenty of fun too. The skills I have garnered from these courses have helped me achieve a positive outcome for a person who had a cardiac arrest whilst I was in close proximity. Literally lifesaving courses.
