I am writing to express my complete satisfaction with the recent installation, by Kimbletech Ltd, of my solar energy system, consisting of 15 solar panels, a dedicated storage battery, and a high-efficiency inverter.

From the initial consultation to the final commissioning, the entire process was handled with a level of excellence that is rare to find. I would like to highlight two specific areas where the company exceeded my expectations:

Quality of Workmanship: The installation is remarkably clean and professional. The panels are perfectly aligned, the wiring is discreetly routed, and the battery/inverter setup in my home was completed with great attention to detail and safety.

Staff Professionalism: The team was punctual, courteous, and highly knowledgeable. They took the time to explain how the system operates, ensured the workspace was spotless before leaving, and answered all my technical questions with patience and clarity.
I am extremely happy with the performance of the system and the quality of the service provided.

I have no hesitation in recommending this company to anyone considering a similar solar installation. If you are looking for a reliable, professional, and high-quality renewable energy partner, look no further.

Would give 6 stars if I could. Kimbletech were just the company we were looking for, local enough to understand our area, big enough to have deep knowledge in their workforce. We got a miriad of quotes and five different system designs from different suppliers. Kimbletech took our usage and future plans seriously then designed a system that entirely meets our needs rather than pandering to what "others" usually do. They designed for what we wanted to do. Installation was a breeze (in fact the panels went up a day early). Scaffold went up and down with zero issues. Our system has been fully operational for 6 weeks and we are barely drawing anything from the grid. They even take American Express.

We've had solar panels for years but didn't go down the battery route originally because the technology wasn't available for what we wanted. Kimble successfully bid for the Chalfont St Giles Memorial hall panel and battery installation and being a trustee I had Kimble quote for a battery for our house. The quote was extremely competitive and they were able to supply and fit the kit that we chose after extensive Youtube research. We saw a friends installation of the same kit, done some months earlier, and they were very pleased with both the Tech and Kimble as the suppliers/installer. Speed of action from Kimble was excellent, as was the communication. We had the go-ahead from the NRO within 3 weeks and the battery was fitted 2 weeks later; on a Saturday!

Despite a glitch in the commissioning, due to it being 5pm on a Saturday, with manufacture help line closed, the issue was resolved the following Monday.

The power we have generated for the past 13 years mostly went to the grid and it is a pleasure to now see it all going either into our house appliances or into the battery for use when the sun had gone down.

All we need now is to get on an electricity tariff that allows for over night cheap rate battery charging when the forecast is like it is today – Overcast!

We recently installed new solar panels and a battery system with Kimble Solar. From start to finish the process was superb. It was clear Rob Gray really knew his stuff and we felt well advised on the best way forward. Excellent communications leading up to the install and then a professional and tidy team led by Sean to install our system. Highly recommended!

From our first contact with them, Kimble were great. There was no high pressure selling, just clear explanations and a careful assessment of what we needed and what would work in our home situation. They inspired confidence and their experience and expertise were evident in all our dealings with them. They were also efficient and clearly worked well together. The guys who fitted the panels did a great job and were considerate and careful. Altogether Kimble were a pleasure to deal with and we are excited and pleased with our new solar panels.

What a pleasant and excellent experience. From the initial assessment, it was professional and clearly communicated, no hard selling, no pressure to sign, just clear presented information and pricing. They were not the cheapest nor the priciest either, it was worth it. Communication all the way to installation, scaffolding put up and taken down very quickly, installation of solar and battery smooth and well done, no mess left, talked through how the system worked before leaving and given a number to contact for any questions. It’s one of the best experiences I’ve had with work on my home. Fully recommend.

Had my system fitted in October. Far and away the most competent of all the solar companies I contacted. Technical information was made very clear, the terms were well laid out and the benefits explained thoroughly.

Very tidy installation, knowledgeable installers, great after sales service and follow up. Saving electricity even in December.

Quite simply I cannot fault any part of the whole experience.
- No pressure in the sales/selection - at all. We went cold for a year and picked up as we started no issues
- Installation was very easy. Polite and helpful staff, very clean instal with excellent communication.
- Excellent commissioning - all set up and functioning. Any issues from our technical idiocy seamlessly sorted.

Initial issue about communications, but the Company resolved it immediately after knowledge of my disappointment with a visit of technician who also checked the panels performance that is even better than predicted on design phase.Excellent product,great labour and price.As is a Family Company, very easy to get in touch and sort any kind of matter.Big saving last year, only £35 per month average electric bill with 14 panels on a detached house. Definitely positive Company, I recommend to everyone.

This last summer was the full one of being able to appreciate my investment - and how pleased I am. Besides the savings everything works as it should do - so, so pleased. Sharon

We are very happy with the service we have had from Kimble Solar. It has been a year since the installation and I have recently added a third battery to the system. I have recommend Kimble to friends as the price of the array was competitive and the installation was undertaken exactly according to our preferred timings. The after sales service has been good although we haven’t really needed much further assistance.

Kimble Solar gave good service throughout the proposal stage and then installation. I chose them over the other bidders because I believed that they'd thought of everything and that what they proposed would work ... and it has worked, perfectly. I am glad I chose Kimble Solar and would recommend them without hesitation.

Kimble Solar have been a pleasure to do business with right from their first response to my initial query through to the installation itself. There was a bit of a hiccup with the scaffolding that prolonged the installation by a couple of day but in the overall scheme of things that didn’t matter. The installation team (electrician and roofer) were very polite and professional. As our install was done right at the end of November we are not yet getting full benefit from the installation as a result of the short days and weather, however, 2 weeks in we are slightly exceeding their predicted daily generation for December. I would not hesitate to recommend them, indeed I am talking to them about installing a system for our village hall for which I am a trustee.

We knew nothing about solar energy beyond the plethora of information which we were bombarded with via the internet and its algorithms.

This left us feeling vulnerable to making an expensive mistake through mis information or misunderstanding . We needed someone who would explain the options , advantages and pitfalls in words of one , ok maybe two , syllables and we found just the right company in Kimble .
Now let me make it clear -our installation has still to happen and maybe a few weeks away yet but this review relates solely to the all important ‘first impressions’ and level of initial communication . In short we are delighted and relieved with our decision to this point and will write again post installation . This was our letter to Kimble :

I thought I would write a quick email to you following our visit from Brent yesterday and our subsequent signing off on the deal . I thought it might be helpful to know why we chose Kimble over the other , cheaper , pitch . And it’s actually very simple; good , old fashioned customer service which we experienced at every stage from initial enquiry to this signing up point . We have every confidence that it will continue through the install and into the inevitable set up issues and questions . The Which accolade is a further reassurance but it is the personal approach and customer facing contact that has really made the difference .

Trustworthy, professional company. They were quick to respond to my enquiry about solar panels, sent someone knowledgeable to work out what I wanted, answered my questions, with no hard sell, quoted quickly and the final bill was as quoted, no more. Installation was quick (one day) and tidy and my further questions and requests were met efficiently. The panels are working as promised and saving a lot on my electricity bill. Very satisfied.

Our home visit went really well and the video Benji took of our house made it easy to understand his suggested panel layout. The installers were really friendly and professional, listened to what I wanted and followed my ideas when they could. We've had the system installed for two weeks now and have not used any grid electricity since then!
