Lauren.K was a great chem tutor. She really helped me understand the content better and was super easy to work with. She was always really nice and made everything feel a lot less stressful. The only small piece of feedback is that sometimes the pace was a little too fast for me and I wouldn’t understand, but whenever I asked her to re-explain she did. Overall, really good experience!!

Will was great
Will Anderson tutored me for chemistry for only a month and a half, but he helped me gain so much understanding, confidence and bring my grades up beyond what I was aiming for. He was really kind and he clearly put a lot of effort into tutoring. If you are looking for a chemistry tutor, I cannot recommend him enough.

Amazing literature tutor - Zara
Just finished yr12 and my literature tutor, Zara, was excellent. She helped so much in appreciating subject matter, allowing me to better progress as her enthusiasm for english was contagious! Tutoring included very personalised content, along with lots of Q&A when needed in an agreeable timeline for me. Would recommend :)

Helena was an amazing tutor who…
Helena was an amazing tutor who supported me throughout my whole stressful year 12 journey. She taught me biology and was always kind and patient when teaching, she always tried to ensure that i understood the content and was very organised, i would definitely recommended Helena for any student who wants to improve in their studies!!

English tutor
I had Jenn as my English tutor and she helped me so much and especially took me in last moment just a few months before final exams. She understood everything that I was struggling with and focused those specific skills and topics. Genuinely loved spending time with her in our lessons.

Amy Arezzolo was great at helping me in VCE English 3/4. She explained everything clearly and helped me improve my English grades by substantial amount. I'd highly recommend her to anyone!

My daughter truly enjoyed her lessons, and Helena helped her significantly with the subject. With Helena’s guidance, she became more confident and definitely more knowledgeable.

From bombing unit 1/2 chem to acing unit 3/4
I used to really struggle with Chemistry in Units 1/2. No matter how much I studied, things just didn’t seem to click and it really knocked my confidence going into Year 12. That’s when I decided to get tutoring through KIS Academics and honestly it was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. I was lucky enough to be paired with Helena, and from the very first lesson, everything started to make sense. She’s so patient, explains things in a way that actually sticks and always made me feel comfortable asking questions even the ones that felt dumb before. Over time, my confidence just grew. I went from dreading Chemistry to actually enjoying it, and for the first time, I felt like I truly understood what I was doing to the point where i’m sure i got at least 45 (sat exam 2 days ago). I’m so grateful to Helena for all her help, and to KIS for connecting me with such an amazing tutor, definitely give them a shot.

Math apps Georgy
I had Georgy for math apps for this year and he helped me so much, he is so reliable and goes above and beyond to help with questions even outside of tutoring sessions also very easy to get along with! I went from a 28% to a 63% definitely the best tutor out there!

VCE psych 3 & 4 - charlotte
I had Charlotte for VCE Psych 3 and 4, and she was incredibly helpful throughout the year. She explained concepts I never understood at school and helped me understand what I needed to get all the marks on a question. Charlotte is a kind and encouraging tutor, and she made psych seem a little less hard.

flexible lessons
The personalized lessons was a great way for me to focus on challenging topics. The lesson times were really flexible, and I was able to get advice outside of class time through messages. I did English Language 3/4, and Cindy Huang was my tutor. She was really helpful in giving me structure to write essays. Brainstorming topics was made easier with her advice. :)

HSC English Advanced Tutoring
I had tutoring for English Advanced during both Year 11 and 12 with Amy Arezzolo. She has been amazing in helping me to increase both my confidence and analytical abilities in English. She was also great in providing a basic structure with things like essays, paragraphs and creatives as a basis, as the thing I struggle with the most is getting started. My English grades with her have significantly improved, going from a B to an A.

I have been taking tutoring with Ayishah
I have been taking tutoring with Ayishah for English advanced in year 11 and 12, she has been amazing. She has given me many resources, offered extremely helpful insights with the course and helped with any questions I have during and outside of lesson time, all of which have allowed me to go from a C-B range student, to a high A range student. Lessons with her have helped me stay on top of my school work and have allowed me to develop a thorough understanding of difficult concepts.
