This is a great place to buy tools. One guy there, David, is super knowledgeable - goes "above and beyond." He makes very good suggestions, and doesn't come off as a "salesman" at all.

Great staff
Tried to find a specific bandsaw blade in store, we could not find it, a few days later I was going to do a online order but thought I would phone and see if they could check in store. I phoned, talked to Russ, he found it about 15 minutes later, phoned me back and set it aside. Excellent customer service

Poor Stock on Some Items
Hi…mostly, I love your store:) Your staff has always been friendly and helpful! However, I find that most of the time if I am looking for something online, but I would like to see it in person at my local (Nanaimo) store, it is almost always “out of stock”. This happens much to often. Any chance of getting Nanaimo better stocked? My hobbies are pen making, various wood projects on my lathe, etc. Thanks for reading this! Cheers!

Verey helpful staff and good product selection
I have shopped at KMS for over 15 years, in Coquitlam, Langley, Victoris, and now Nanaimo, and the Nanaimo sttore is top of the list. The staff are friendly and very helpful. This visit I was looking for new ear defenders, and selected the Honeywell model VS130D, which are vvery comfortable and have a dB reducing rate of 29 dB.

Great selection
Great selection of quality tools with competitive pricing, everything in one place. The only criticism that I have is that I was in the store for approximately 1 hour and not once was I acknowledged by any employee or asked if I needed help.
