Fridge stopped working, they gave a refurbished replacement which also did not work. So now I have two non working fridges, wasted space. Not able to refund even though it has not even been one year yet.
Mini fridge no longer worked after a few months. They sent a refurbished one as a replacement that also does not work. Not able to refund or do anything else. Why send one that doesn’t even work? Waste of garbage.

Horrible customer service. They keep showing up at my door for a service call that I requested, but without any phone calls first. Since I work from home, I need to know what day they are coming at least. They will not leave a message on my phone; they just showed up at my door twice.
This is not proper security in this day and age! HORRIBLE!!

Ordered a Kenmore coffee maker off Amazon...it has a 2yr warranty...crapped out just after the 1 year mark; it stopped sending water from the reservoir up to the grounds. Go ahead and TRY to get through to the 800
"customer service " (and I use that term loosely) number; either 1) you get into cue, and after 10 minutes of a robot telling you how important your call is, it says sorry...we're too busy to talk to you...call back some other time, OR 2) you get that msg right way! And the only other way to get someone is...by email! Seriously??? I've been trying for 2 weeks to get replacement info...FINALLY got someone today...was told I would get tracking info in 48hrs...we'll see!

bought this very expensive unit and had it in my home kitchen barely being used, brought it to my office to replace my old capresso unit WHICH STILL WORKS AFTER 15 YEARS!!!
the heating element died and kenmore support couldnt be less of a help all they want is a receipt.
good luck finding that with kids "cleaning" the house.
no way to authenticate the mfg date since the sticker on the bottom does not have a date on it.
i could go fix it myself if there were any parts available online at all.
for how expensive this unit it shoud have better options for support

Koolatron Corporation I ordered the red mini fridge with blue tooth speakers, but you sent me the cheaper version with no speakers instead. I’ve tried reaching you multiple times with no response. At this point it’s clear you’re more interested in taking my money than delivering what I paid for. I purchased a Koolatron KIM IceMaker and the first one the off/on switch did not work, same thing-happened to my Sis in Law. I returned item and repurchased another one. It worked fine up until it didn’t. Last Sat I made ice everything was normal no problem. Unplugged Machine as usual in a very ventilated area in my kitchen, I might add, and I was cleaning the next day, somehow the Machines wires burned out And the Casing MELTED on one side. How this did not create any smell of burned wires and plastic is beyond measure. I sent Koolatron two lettters
Explaining my situation, I asked for a replacement or some sort of compensation and was offered NOTHING.
I tried phoning in several times to the President and Vice President of Koolatron. Only to be Hung zip on numerous occasions. Total Bullshit and I will tell everyone and Anyone to Please beware of this Faulty and Hazardous piece of Equipment. How my home did not catch fire is beyond anything I have ever seen. Again, there was absolutely no smell or any indication of unusual heat. Only melted Wires and Plastic. I will NEVER purchase Koolatron again. Please be Careful and think twice about purchasing a Koolatron Ice Maker. I contacted Customer Service and was just dusted off.
The Koolatron rodent repeller is completely useless. It’s been in place for two weeks with zero effect. A baby mouse just emerged and laughed at it. Avoid this company’s products.

I don't know how their freezers work because they keep sending the wrong one. I have ordered the 3.5cu ft. freezer and they sent the 5.0 cu ft. freezer twice. I had to get a refund from Lowes which a whole other story.
Customer service actually hung up on both the store employee and me. BE AWARE!!!

I ordered a koolatron mini fridge in November for my sons Xmas present via Amazon which had advertised guarantee delivery by 23rd Dec. That came and went, still they were advising same del date... I was told my order was stuck in shipment so asked for refund... 3 times the date has changed and still no order 3 times I've asked for refund but still nothing. THIS COMPANY IS A JOKE .. DO NOT ORDER ANYTHING UNLESS U LIKE THROWING MONEY AWAY
Cooler/Freezer SK50 lasted few days after weak warranty expired, just stopped cooling! Koolatron does not provide repair or any assistance, called 12 local repair shops but no one will touch it, it cost $700 and a lot of time wasted and lugging this 40lbs pos around, need a new unit now I suppose. Very disappointed. EDIT: on 6.25.25, THREE AND A HALF YEARS AFTER POSTING THIS REVIEW, Koolatron responds!
