Kresta's 2025-2026 poor performance, compared to previous great service
I was asked to pay ahead in full, for the purchase and installation of my 4 vertical blinds, in order to get them installed within about 4 weeks. Three months later, having paid in full, I am still waiting for Kresta to fix one of the 4 blinds. I believe some of Kresta's staff have done the following: misrepresented the timeline for people paying in full prior to receiving blinds; fraudulently signed a document with my supposed signature to say I was satisfied with my blinds' purchase + installation when the fitter had promised to call back to fix a major problem with incorrect sizing; made appointments when the allocated staff member did not attend; did not call or email to excuse their non-attendance. Despite complaining personally to 2 different managers, nothing positive has resulted. I am disgusted with Kresta's current attitude, service, and performance. I have been a customer of Kresta for about 40 years, and was always very happy with what I got. Now, I have a very negative view of them.
Postscript: Kresta has now remedied my problem with my blind by replacing it with a new one which is now perfect. They have also agreed to reimburse me for the air freight cost of that one blind, though this could take some time to happen. But at least things have improved a lot in the past week.

Sold a dud
Kresta lied about delivering times, when shipment got into Australia, said I hadn't paid etc etc
But what was most upsetting is one of the blinds was a dud. They have not taken responsibility. See pictures. In appropriate for a sliding door getting in and out, this causes wrinkling. I have to keep it rolled up except when I really need it to avoid breakage. Do not use kresta and do not let a salesman called Sam into your house. It was his lack of knowledge that led to this. He and kresta have not apologised.

They did a great job with our shutters that we went back to Kresta for some roller blinds. Big mistake! The sales and installation was a breeze, however at only a few months old our roller blinds are fraying and the fabric is clearly not fit for purpose. Contacted Kresta as we're well within the warranty period. After multiple emails and photos to prove the issue I was then told I would have to pay $88 for a warranty repair inspection! After making a fuss they did reduce this by 50%, but only after i made a big fuss. The warranty inspector agreed that all 4 window blinds needed to be replaced. Then radio silence. I followed up with multiple calls and emails, and calls. Their customer service team are rude and once even hung up on me. 3 months later i finally get a call to arrange installation for only 3 windows. They won't say why, and they won't escalate to anyone else who could help. We are still within the original 2yr warranty period, yeh they aren't willing to budge! Waste of my time and money. I would never recommend or use them again!

Use these people if you don't care about your money or receiving what you ordered
Everything bad you hear about these people is true. They sent the wrong blinds, blamed me for not picking it up on the order form I signed (despite us only talking about Plantations and how much we hated Venetian's they sent us Venetian's). Ronen the salesperson would not take any responsibility and was very rude on the phone. Trying to get Linda to arrive on time to install the blinds is impossible (had to rearrange 3 times as they kept wanting to start drilling late in the afternoon). Bought a $3k awning and after just 4 uses the crank handle had worn away the coating. Was promised 2 crank handles would be sent by Sonya, and when I followed up 2 weeks later was told nothing would be done as was considered general wear & tear (4 uses by the way). Had to beg and plead for a refund of the Venetians which I finally got months later. Oh and all this took over 3 months.
These people lie, call you a liar, don't deliver what they say they will, and expect you to bend over backwards to accommodate them. Appalling service. Stay away.

If I could give a 0 star I would. ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING product and service is no existent. I was given the completely different blinds and have waited 6 months to have it rectified. I’m trying to get a refund from Kresta with no luck. I wouldn’t recommend them to anyone. Worse experience ever, the company needs to close down for what they do to the consumer!

Well now I have a broken clip and sticky track of these panel blinds. These blinds will be costing me a fortune.......Had bad experience in April 2024 when wrong size shutters arrived then again in July again wrong measurements that order I cancelled. and recently I noticed little white plugs that supposed to hide the screws on the side of shutters are not in they forgot to put them in,
Worst service ever…
The service we have received from Kresta is well below what would be considered the minimum requirement. The wrong product was recommended, incorrect measurements were taken, the installation was incorrect and needed rework, the rude manner of the service manager and inappropriate behaviour of her was mind boggling, the promise of the contact from the sales representative after all the issues were assessed that never happened. I will never use nor recommend this company ever again.

Booked an appointment then was phoned to say we have you double booked .you can we change appointment date ?I agreed. Day of next appointment get a txt message asking to reschedule appointment. ?Not happy. As I had taken both days off work to make appointment. Was organised. Very poor. Service. From kresta sunshine coast Qld. Now have to find another blind company to come out. Do better kresta customer service is critical in Retail. What brings customers back communication is key. Making appointments unable to attend doesn't help. We understand things happen look at future calanders to put into place and staff Rostering communication with your team is critical. Property damaged by installer. Customer care useless.
The installer damaged both our wall (drilling a hole into the wrong spot and having to then redrill in the correct spot) and our furniture (took a chunk out of it with his ladder) during installation. Customer care were no help and suggested we buy a wood crayon to colour in the chunk missing from our furniture...
Faulty installation. No acknowledgement or responsibility
Product incorrectly installed which means I cannot close my window without a blind falling down. So -called Customer Service was a dead end, refusing to acknowledge the blatantly misfitted bracket causing the problem . Now I have to either leave my window open to a busy street or never open it at all. I will have to pay someone to refit the blinds because Kresta says there is no problem with the installation, end of story. What a terrible, unprofessional company.
Incorrect rail & non-existent after sales support?
I recently ordered curtains & sheers for my office & after choosing the fabrics & explaining to the KRESTA representative what we wanted the curtain configuration to look like & specifically the rail ( we also physically showed her the other rails installed as an example) She agreed they would be the same. Now that the products have arrived the rail system is wrong & 15cm too short on one of the rails ? We tried to escalate the matter in an appropriate way but no one actually answers the complains line? ( I tried over a few days ) In pure desperation I selected account’s on their automated phone system & it was answered. They said they would escalate the matter if I mailed them the details with pictures which I did. Its been weeks now & absolutely nothing? Very sad for what seems like a well made product, but with no ownership of a clear mistake I honestly can’t recommend KRESTA & will personally never use them again.
Terrible Customer Service
I purchased curtains, which were not cheap. I wish I checked the reviews for this company before I decided to purchase from them. The Sales person was quick and efficient and the installers were also fine but when I reported a fault with my curtains a few days later to customer service, nobody wants to know! They totally ignore you. After I contacted many people in the organisation, who did not help and said someone would call me back, I finally received a call from Doug, who I believe is the NSW manager. He asked for further photos, which I emailed him the same day (18 June). As I didn't hear from him I followed up on 3 July. I have not received a reply to date and today is 13 of July. STAY AWAY FROM KRESTA CURTAINS AND BLINDS!
Upsetting customer experience
I was very excited when I ordered the blinds and was even convinced by the sales person to upgrade the fabric after a small discount. They were never the cheapest but they seemed very professional. Boy was I wrong. We bought 3 blinds each 250 drop and around 240 width, motorized with a remote and a hub. After spending two sessions with the designer\sales person and coming up with our desired set up I waited 8 weeks for installation (as agreed). The installer arrived to install the product but had no idea about the designed setup, nor did he get any of the instructions right. After creating damage in the ceiling due to wrong installation I corrected him and he finally got it right. Immediately after installing the blinds make a strong clicking sounds when in operation. I reported to the team in Kresta both about the damage to the ceiling and the noise. They decided to send another technician (earliest appointment within 8 weeks) when he arrived he explained that he needs more parts which he didn't have. I waited another 8 weeks for the technicians availability (again) and this time he came and said I don't know what the problem is. I've been trying to call Kresta, email and even involved the sales person - suddenly they all disappeared. There is definitely a manufacturing problem with the products and currently feels like a scam. for a frustrating free experience I would avoid Kresta.

Product is good but the customer service is appalling. The communication was terrible. I was charged an extra $70 on the day because I was supposed to know that taking window coverings down meant the tracks as well. I felt backed up against a wall because the fitter was already onsite and unless I paid an extra $10 per window on the spot the install would not proceed. A small value but to me it’s the principle that counts. The last on the phone was rude and no one would take accountability for not giving clear instructions in the first instance. I paid, (I had no other options) they took the tracks down and left the rubbish behind.
