Sandra Alvarez, was absolutely amazing because she guided me adequately in everything! She was always very helpful, friendly, and supportive, and she made sure everything went smoothly from start to finish. I could always rely on her, and she answered all my questions quickly and clearly.
My experience was perfect—I had everything I needed, and everything was very well organized. I felt completely comfortable and supported during the whole trip.
I’m extremely happy with the experience and truly grateful for all the help. I would 100% recommend it!

Très bonne expérience pour 15 jours de cours d'espagnol à Valladolid en Espagne, petite ville historique très intéressante ; Elena, professeure d'un très bon niveau.

Je ne suis restée que deux semaines, donc forcément je ne pouvais apprendre que quelques bases... cependant je suis assez satisfaite de ce que j'ai réussi à exprimer en chinois en aussi peu de temps. Niveau documents mis à disposition et en ligne, c'était vraiment bien fait.
Concernant les cours et l'enseignante, c'était vraiment extra, elle était top !
La communication par le personnel de l'école quel qu'il soit était parfaite. Le lieu où j'étais était magnifique. Quant à l'hébergement, j'avais pris un appartement en colocation avec d'autres étudiants et pour cela je dois dire que c'est vraiment extrêmement pratique que l'école se charge de trouver le logement. Concernant l'appartement, j'avais accès à une cuisine pour me faire à manger, j'avais accès aussi à une machine à laver le linge , des toilettes western, la climatisation, la literie, avec toilettes et douche dans ma chambre et non à partager avec les autres ... parfait ! J'ai de nombreux problèmes alimentaires, allergique, intolérance ou autre, et grâce aux deux repas à la cantine, qui faisait extrêmement attention à ce que je puisse manger de tout, j'ai pu avoir des repas de bonne qualité et variés tous les jours : ainsi, malgré mes soucis d'alimentation pouvant être dangereux pour moi, j'ai pu manger sereinement, malgré l'obstacle de la langue. Vraiment, tout est facilité de manière à ce que l'on n'ait plus qu'à arriver, suivre nos cours et profiter du séjour. Il y avait également plein d'activités prévues possibles, mais non obligatoires si l'on voulait visiter par nous-même d'autres parties de cette région. Et avec eux, pas de soucis même quand on en a un, car ils font tout pour vous aider à résoudre quelque problème que ce soit que vous puissiez rencontrer. J'ai vraiment apprécié.

I did a two-week intensive course at Turkish Language Center in Izmir. I found the school through the Language International Website, and Ms. Hall from Language International did a fantastic job advising me. So this would be 5 stars.

Why only 3 Stars? Because, in short, my language course in Izmir at the "Turkish Language Center" was a mixed experience. Of course, Language International can't be aware of the specific situation at every single school they recommend; there were a few surprises, and my stay was quite different in some respects from what I had expected based on the descriptions of previous students.
The following, therefore, refers only to the "3 star situation" on the ground.

I was the only student in the class and therefore received one-on-one instruction. In return, the number of lessons originally agreed upon was reduced by half. I was informed of this beforehand, and it was ok for me.

I was taught by the same teacher for the two weeks; she was very friendly and motivated. However, her grammatical explanations were sometimes uncertain, and she has no specific didactical training in teaching Turkish to non-native speakers. Since I've already completed several language courses and have some experience working as a language teacher myself, this was ok for me, though not ideal.

In class, l worked through various lessons from a workbook that was provided to me in photocopied form. The lessons included reading, speaking, and grammar exercises, but unfortunately, there were no structured listening comprehension exercises (which were included in the textbook). This was due either to the malfunctioning audio equipment in the otherwise well-equipped classroom or to licensing issues with the teaching materials. The reason remained unclear, and my questions during the second week of the course were met with the response, "We'll start listening comprehension exercises tomorrow," which never really happened—apart, of course, from the discussions during class, which were not always in Turkish but also in English. In quite a few situations, the teacher could have continued to speak to me in Turkish; switching to English is naturally easier for both parties, but not really effective for learning. I should have insisted more.

As I see it, the Turkish Language Center" is not a language school in the true sense, but rather a facility where various teachers tutor local Turkish students (in Mathematics, English, etc.) and also offer Turkish lessons when there is demand. This didn't seem to happen very often so far; much of it felt improvised. I assume there are any other Turkish teachers besides my highly motivated and friendly one, but I didn't encounter any. This is regrettable, as it would naturally have been helpful for learning progress to be taught by different teachers.

The technical and spatial facilities are generally good, and the institute's director is very helpful, but he apparently has little experience with the needs and expectations of foreign learners of Turkish.

Accommodation was in an apartment right next to the Center. Other than I expected when booking, I wasn't staying with a family, but with a very friendly retired man living alone, with whom I got along very well. I stayed in a small room that essentially only had space for a bed and a wardrobe, but I could use the bathroom, kitchen, and living room, and do laundry. However, the apartment's cleanliness was borderline acceptable; more discerning guests would certainly have had major issues.

I had booked half-board (breakfast and dinner) but it was not my host who was responsible for meals, but rather the Center. Accordingly, I consistently ate my breakfast at the language school during the first break. The question of when and where I would have dinner was essentially a daily matter; a few times I had dinner at the language school (sometimes with the director), the other evenings dinner was brought to my apartment. On the weekend in the middle of my course, when the Center was closed, they arranged that my host cooked for me (tastiest meals I had :-).

Overall, the accommodation was very unsatisfactory in relation to the price I paid (significantly higher than the language course fees!). This felt very unjustified, and according to my host, he received only a very small amount for my accommodation; so I don't blame him for anything, especially since he was very helpful and friendly.

I enjoyed the stay and was able to improve my Turkish, but there are numerous things in the organization of the lessons and accommodation that urgently need improvement.

Very welcoming and warm company delivering good language lessons. Teachers very encouraging and a fun activities programme for after lessons.

Language International suggests a wide variety of courses and helps to choose the best location and school.
I chose the course by myself but communication with the manager after submitting an application was efficient and smooth. He responded promptly and gave all the necessary information.

With support from Language International I booked a 1 week training for French language in Tunis. The course was excellent, and the school was well placed in the city of Tunis.
Andrea Hall supported me in preparation with any questions, her answers were quickly and competent.

I had the most amazing experience studying Spanish in Medellin through Language International. My advisor, Kristele, was very helpful and responsive. I would definitely use Language International again and highly recommend them to anyone looking for an overseas language course.

My experience in Nerja Spain was excellent. I had many questions prior to arrival that Kristel patiently answered. I would recommend the school to anyone over 50 who wants to learn Spanish and meet people from all over the world. Don’t talk yourself out of it. Do it!!such a great experience.

The location in the centre of f Verona is fantastic. the classrooms are many and suit the small groups of learners. Well-organised grammar and conversation classes according to ability. Administrators are very helpful and answer quickly. A familiar and very friendly atmosphere. I strongly recommend the course in Italian in every respect.

Una experiencia extraordinaria. Yo estudié 4 semanas francés en Montreal. Desde la coordinación del curso con Zayrú Arias, que respondió oportunamente todos los correos aclarando las inquietudes que tenía sobre ese viaje, la visa, recomendaciones del curso que más se ajustaba a mis necesidades. Hasta la atención de los profesores. Pensé que sería muy poco tiempo para aprender del idioma pero logré avances importantes en ese periodo además que tuve que practicar inglés también todo el tiempo y de paso aprendo algo de portugués, ya que había varios alumnos de Brasil y establecimos muy buenas relaciones. Me encantó la experiencia y la recomiendo 100%

The school is excellent situated in town. The students are well divided into the groups by the skills level.
The groups are small enough to guarantee learning for everyone.
The teachers are qualified and stay focused in just the right level.
I will take a new course as soon as I return to Las Palmas.

I had a very positive experience with Language International. The communication with my student advisor was exceptionally pleasant and professional throughout the booking process. Although the accommodation confirmation arrived close to my departure date, everything was perfectly organized and worked out great in the end. I can highly recommend their services to anyone looking for a reliable agency to help organize a language stay abroad.

The final experience depends obviously on the very school you choose but Language International was doing well the job I needed.
