So disappointing the level of professionalism with customer service and their attitude towards good customers who do the right thing. Cancelled day prior for my daughter who had vomiting virus. They asked her to come in that afternoon and she wouldn’t loose her money. She was too sick and would have been contagious to staff and other customers. They said it’s policy. I akednfirbhead office number they said don’t have one we can’t even contact them. Although they claim head office won’t let them reschedule appointments 24 hours prior. So you loose the money. This was a gift to my daughter for Xmas nd they don’t care at all. Could have repeat business but lost. Have reported to ACCC and ombudsman. I suggest others do the same as if you do your research you’ll find other reviews such as this. Rude. Non responsive and take my money with nil service provided. Crazy. When I said would you like my daughter to come in with a bucket she said it’s our policy we cat treat her to my reply than please reschedule and then the same soeel no we can’t reschedule she will forfeit entire prepaid voucher. WARNING ‼️

I had booked a full leg laser hair removal appointment and called one day in advance to cancel. Instead of being offered an alternative such as rescheduling, the staff member I spoke to was extremely rude and told me I would be charged the full amount as a cancellation fee.

What made the experience worse is that I also had a facial appointment booked on a later date, which I had already paid for, and I was told that when I come in for that facial, I would be made to pay the cancellation fee then.

There was no empathy, no attempt to resolve the situation, and no professional communication — just threats of being fined. This is not the level of customer service I expect from a professional clinic.

I’m extremely disappointed with the way I was treated by Chermside Laser Clinic, especially after being a customer for several years. I booked my appointment during their Black Friday sale and was ready to pay, but they told me I could pay after my treatment. Today, after the treatment, I was charged full price.

When I asked why, I was told by Jade (who did my treatment) that I could only get the sale price if I left a positive review — basically offering me 50% off in exchange for a good review. Now that I’ve seen how poor their reviews are, it makes sense why they’re desperate enough to do that.

I also asked to speak with the manager, but was told she was in treatments all day and couldn’t talk to me, and that I should just send an email instead.

Overall, really disappointing experience!

I have been a regular customer for 10 years. Was treated for laser hair removal. Results are fairly poor. They discount their services heavily and promise that pre-purchased packages "virtually do not expire". Today, I was booked for treatment and wanted to use a pre-purchased treatment. Before the session started, I was advised that the treatment expired YESTERDAY, as such they refused to honor it.
I tried to reason with them, but they still refused to allow it.
This clinic is a scam. I have repeatedly questioned the effectiveness of the treatment with the therapists. No answers given.
Customer Service is often very poor with rude girls taking bookings and performing treatment.
I have now decided to go elsewhere. I would not recommend this clinic to anyone

I’m disappointed to be writing this, but I feel a responsibility to share my experience.

I booked an appointment at the Chermside clinic and later called to reschedule it. I was clearly told over the phone that my prepaid treatment would still apply, even though the Happy Hour promotion wouldn’t. I attended the appointment based on that understanding.

After the treatment, I was told I had to pay again. When I explained the phone conversation, the staff insisted I pay on the spot and that management would “review the call later” and potentially credit me. I calmly said I was not going to pay upfront for something I’d already been told was covered. I also said that if, after reviewing the call, it turned out I was wrong, I’d resolve it. That is a completely reasonable position.

Instead, a staff member escalated the situation by threatening to call security — over a prepaid treatment and a phone miscommunication on their end. I was stunned and humiliated. I wasn’t yelling, wasn’t aggressive — just calmly asking for fairness and accountability. The technician who made the threat then refused to engage further and walked away.

The handling of this was completely unprofessional and deeply disrespectful. I raised the issue through proper channels, including management and head office,and will wait for an outcome.

I’ve been a respectful, loyal client. But being treated this way — especially over their failure to make notes — is inexcusable. Based on this experience and reading similar reviews, it seems this clinic has serious issues with internal communication and basic customer service standards.

I have been going to laser clinics Australia for the past 8 years. My most recent experience was the worst and I will not be returning. I had an appointment scheduled for 3pm and was called at 1.20pm to advise that I had missed my prepaid appointment for 12.50pmand would be losing my $175 . I said I was so sorry but I didn’t get any text or emails confirming the 12.50pm and only had the 3pm in my calendar I sincerely apologised and said I could be there in 10 mins but the receptionist said sorry she couldn’t fit me in. I feel so disappointed after all the money I have spent with them and for them to be so inflexible. Every appointment I have attended they have always been running 15mins late and I have never complained. They at unprofessional and totally unempathetic I would not recommend anyone to their services

I’ve been coming to laser clinics Australia for years and have always felt so comfortable and satisfied with their services. The ladies are always so kind and accommodating especially Nassa. I wouldn’t go anywhere else for my laser hair removal treatment.

Attended my initial consult and spoke with Sophie. As this was my first time in a laser clinic I was a little nervous but was soon at ease with the consultant. She was knowledgeable and friendly and answered all my questions, leaving me feeling confident with the treatment options. I will be back in a month's time to see her again. Highly recommend

I have just had the best 5 step Microdermabrasion ever! Jade was amazing, very professional and gave me the best facial massage I have ever had. I have booked in again and can't wait for next time. I feel so Good! Thank you Jade at Chermside Laser Clinics Australia.
