Aris and the team at the Laser Vision Eye Centre have been amazing! I had my eyes done last weekend and the whole process was really well organised. They answered all my questions and made sure I knew exactly what would happen. My vision is perfect now and I don't need to wear glasses any more. Awesome!! :-D

I have given it abit of time before reviewing my treatment as I wanted to digest the whole treatment. From the beginning until today I feel I had a fantastic experience. The team were kind, friendly and competent.
Dr Aris gave me complete confidence in the procedure I was having. He knows exactly how to usher one through the whole experience. At all times I felt I was in very able hands. He is very experienced. I choose to have PRESBYOND laser treatment as I lost my reading vision when I had to have cataract surgery for both eyes at the age of 28, after the cataracts I had to wear glasses all the time- and I absolutely hated it! With this treatment I am now 3 months after the procedure and can see with great ease and I am enjoying life with out glasses (I will go as far as saying we achieved better results that ever anticipated).

I had Presbyond Laser blended surgery at the age of 52. I now have the best distance vision since I was a teenager. No side effects and no pain! Oh - and I can read the paper without reading glasses as well!

My first experience of laser treatment for a corneal condition carried out recently by the Laser Vision Eye Centre went very smoothly with every care taken by David and Aris and their team before and after the treatment to explain and to reassure me and provide answers to all my queries.

I hope no further treatment will be necessary but if it was, I would have no hesitation in returning to the Laser Vision Eye Centre.

I received excellent care throughout my experience at the Nuffield Health Laser Vision Eye Centre under the clinical leadership of Mr David Anderson. Everything was explained before and as the procedure was carried out. The use of laser to remove calcium plaques from the cornea in my right eye was quicker (and less painful post operatively) than my previous EDTA treatment to my left eye. The waiting time for the procedure was considerably shorter than on the NHS and I even received a telephone call from the hospital the next day to check that all was well.

I received excellent treatment from David, and the whole team were extremely professional. I am delighted with the results, and I would highly recommend David to anyone considering laser eye surgery

I have been very impressed by the level of pre op information given enabling me to make a knowledgeable decision on how to proceed. The op itself was carried out with kindness and professionalism, the team were all helpful and supportive. Mr ANDERSON explained exactly what was going on throughout, which really helped to make me feel reassured and safe. Post op the aftercare has been amazing, staff even called on a Sunday to check how I was feeling. The result of the op has been life changing, to wake up, open my eyes and be able to see clearly is indescribable. I would not hesitate to recommend this clinic to everyone.

Mr Aris Konstantopoulos has conducted corneal surgery on both of my eyes during the last 12 months. I have made great progress, receiving an excellent level of service both pre and post surgery. Aris is both personable and professional and fully explained in detail the proposed procedure. I would highly recommend him.

The treatment was painless and effective. Mr Anderson has a most reassuring manner. He does not rush the treatment.

NHS cataract surgery had left me with a noticeable distortion in my vision due to astigmatism. As someone who hates hospitals and can't bear to touch my eyes, I was nervous about having LASIK laser correction surgery and put it off for months. However, Mr. Anderson carefully explained the process to me and I decided to go ahead. The surgery was painless and was all done within half an hour. There was some initial discomfort but the eye drops I was given took care of it and everything healed very quickly. At age 81, I now have excellent distance vision, similar to what I had at 50.

I had SMILE laser eye surgery at the beginning of December at the Nuffield hospital and wanted to wait to provide my review to provide a better account of my experience. I am an incredibly nervous patient, however Mr Anderson spoke to me a couple of days before the surgery and answered my questions. I was also given lots of reassurance on the day from Mr Anderson and his team. The procedure is very quick and I was kept informed through out. Initially my eyesight was dusty but I didn’t experience any gritty or painful discomfort. Within 24 hours, the improvement in my eyesight was very good, within 48 hours it was amazing. For 2 weeks I administered a number of drops and once in a routine, it was no bother. I have found that my eyes could be dry but regular drops helped this.
The aftercare appointments are very good, and I have had all my questions answered. It’s now 2 months since the procedure and I can honestly say it was the best decision I have ever made! I have occasionally dry eyes but this is expected particularly because of working with computers and driving.

David lasered my eyes and it was seamless with an excellent result.

David Anderson corrected the eyesight in my left eye after an experimental NHS treatment went badly wrong. In addition to being an acknowledged expert, he is a caring and consummate professional. I would recommend him without hesitation.

Best decision of my life. I no longer have to deal with the hassle and discomfort of glasses and contact lenses. Laser Vision Eye Centre are professional and nice to deal with. The quality of the surgeons and equipment is much better than high street options. I completely recommend them.

I am a health care professional and did a great deal of research prior to having laser surgery and wavefront technology. Mr David Anderson is one of the leading Consultant Ophthalmologists which is why I chose him to perform my surgery. During the consultation I was very much assured that I was in good hands, but also having the ‘Gold Standard’ of laser eye surgery. It was explained that my best option was LASEK due to an eye infection rendering me contact lens intolerant. This also left me with a slightly reduced tear film or dry eyes. Mr Anderson informed me during the consent process that it may be particularly painful post operatively and a slightly longer recovery time as apposed to having LASIK, I did prepare for this.
The operation itself was painless and lasted approx 15minutes from start to finish, for both eyes. The second I sat up from the operating table I looked over to a sharps bin and, although still slightly blurry, I was able to read it. It was amazing. I followed post operative instructions to the letter and was expecting pain but was fortunate as I was very comfortable and only suffered very mild discomfort. Was able to go out for lunch the following day and by day 3 I was examined by the clinic and deemed fit to resume driving, my vision is better than 20:20! I was also very impressed with the after care I received. It is now 18months since my surgery and it really has been life changing in every way. Swimming, showering, getting up to children in the middle of the night and not having to reach for my specs. I can not recommend more highly Mr David Anderson and his company for the excellent care I received.
