Dr LeAnn Higgins was there for us on what was, without a doubt, one of the most heartbreaking days of our lives. I cannot recommend her enough for anyone who has had to make the tough decision to say goodbye to their furry family. Her gentle kindness and compassion are exactly what we needed. She spent time with our gorgeous boy beforehand and talked us through everything that would happen. There was no rush or time pressure, and we were able to be in our home together with our boy to say goodbye. I am so grateful to her for everything. She is the absolute perfect person to help you through such a heartbreaking moment.

Our little Terrier, Eddy Bear, has spent 16 years with us. He watched the babies grow into teens, he mentored every little rescue that came through our doors (from hamsters to horses), he helped to show them the ropes aiding in their rehabilitation, he showed compassion and kindness to all that he met. He wasn’t my dog, he was my steadfast companion. The last leg of his journey came about extremely quickly and whilst we always know this day will come - it certainly doesn’t make it any easier.

I had met Lee-Ann some time ago as a locum at a nearby vets and she made a huge impact on me back then. At such a sorrowful time I was so relieved to see her again as I knew my little man would have the best possible goodbye … and he did 💕

Lee-Ann’s professionalism and compassion for Eddy and ourselves alike was invaluable. Nothing was too much trouble and she took time to talk us through everything with such care - even despite being out of hours when she had her own family to take care of, she made time for us even after we had said our goodbyes to Eddy.

I cannot rate Lee-Ann and The Last Goodbye services highly enough! Lee-Ann is exceptional .. not all angels have wings… but they are always there for you at your time

We cannot thank LeeAnn enough for the kindness, compassion, and professionalism she showed when helping us say goodbye to our beloved dog, Misha. She came to us quickly when we needed her most and helped make one of the most difficult days of our lives a little easier to bear. Thanks to her gentle and reassuring presence, Misha was able to pass peacefully in the comfort of her own home, surrounded by love. We will always be grateful for the care and dignity LeeAnn showed to both Misha and to us, and would highly recommend her services.

Lee Ann is incredibly professional and compassionate. She walked our family gently through the process of euthanising our beloved labrador at home, and made sure her last moments were gentle, dignified and respectful. She provides care to families every bit as much as she does for pets. If I'm ever in the same situation again, I wouldn't hesitate to use Last Goodbye.

Saying our last goodbye to Ekko was one of the hardest decisions in our life.

Personalised, professional and very well handled throughout this truly dreadful time. LeeAnn really did make it a meaningful experience, she took time to explain all the steps and allowed us time and space to say our goodbyes in an extremely caring and empathetic way. We are incredibly grateful to LeeAnn for her kindness, compassion, and professionalism during such a difficult time. Unfortunately our beautiful cat Scruffy had become very unwell and was suffering. LeeAnn advised us and was able to offer her services to put him to sleep at home. On the day, everything from the simple registration process to the visit itself was handled smoothly and respectfully. She was calm, gentle, and reassuring, explaining every step of the process so we knew what to expect, which made a huge difference.

LeeAnn also gave us really helpful guidance around aftercare for our beautiful cat. Being able to say goodbye at home, in a familiar and peaceful environment with our other pets, felt so much better than having to go to the vets. Although it was heartbreaking, the whole experience was handled with such care and dignity, and we cannot thank her enough for everything but especially her gentleness and kindness. We would wholeheartedly recommend LeeAnn’s service to anyone needing help at such a difficult time.

Saying goodbye to a much loved pet is never going to be easy, but from my first phone call through to her visit LeeAnn was kind and gentle and gave me time to talk everything through. The whole experience was as calm and peaceful as I had hoped it would be.

From the first communication with LeeAnn she was so kind and understanding. She arranged everything so that there was no stress at all during the last day that we had with our dog. From the moment she arrived in our house a huge worry was lifted and she made the ending for us as a family and for our dog so beautiful and calm.
