London Academy of Trading Reviews 

I recently completed the 12 week diploma course at the London Academy of Trading and I can’t recommend them highly enough.
I first became interested in trading years ago when I attended a ‘Knowledge to Action’ seminar in Manchester. After that I messed around with demo trading accounts on and off and wondered how on earth anyone could possibly make money from this.
About a year ago I decided I was going to get serious about learning to trade. I began watching endless YouTube videos and trawling the internet for anything and everything that could help me. I didn’t get very far though because as good as some of these resources are, there’s far more to trading than just how to use a few technical indicators.

There are lots of training providers who sell fake dreams of being a forex millionaire, and online courses that teach you how to use a few technical indicators (I did one of these courses). Neither of these will get you very far. You’ll either be sold a trading strategy that might work for the odd person, or be taught how to plot lines on a chart or whatever else. Technical analysis is a really important part of trading but technical analysis alone isn’t trading.

The LAT don’t sell any of these get rich quick ideas, and they don’t really promote that kind of attitude. There are obviously people who make a lot of money from trading, but there are far more who lose a lot of money!!! That’s why they teach you to trade properly and to manage risk and how to be aware of your own psychology. And if you ask a tutor at LAT ‘how much can you earn from trading’? They’ll probably tell you ‘ten percent a month’. They teach you how financial markets work, and you learn why fundamentals move markets.

LAT isn’t for anyone who wants to just get rich. I found the course really hard at times, but that’s the way it should be as you are gaining a real qualification that’s accredited, and trading is really hard! Thankfully the tutors are brilliant and you get plenty of support and help even if you’re not on campus. It’s also reassuring to know that the tutors have all worked for the biggest financial institutions as analysists, managers and traders themselves.

Another great thing about LAT is that it’s open to anyone no matter what your background is or what you want to achieve. Part of me worried a bit that when I went to campus I might be surrounded by intimidating flash bloodthirsty business and finance graduates and it might be a bit like being on The Apprentice or something, but I couldn’t have been more wrong!!! While I was on campus there were several retired couples who were learning to invest their pensions themselves and one student who I think had just finished high school and me who’s worked in metal fabrication for the last seven years. They have students from all over the world and I met some rally interesting people.

I’m not consistently profitable yet, but I know for sure that I will be soon if I use the skills that the LAT have taught me, so I’d definitely recommend them no matter what your objectives are.

Great course that covers all the key concepts needed to become a good trader. The tutors are very friendly and are willing to go the extra mile to ensure that their students get the best experience.

Brilliant Course.

Really enjoyed the course, went for the four week course as didn't know what to expect. After 2 hours on the first day i upgraded to the full 12 week diploma.

Learnt so much.

Everyone at LAT is very accommodating if you have to take a bit more time or speed up.

I did the 3 month Diploma course at the London Academy of Trading. It was a very enjoyable and beneficial experience lead by a professional and very helpful staff of tutors who were always willing to lend a hand to help us understand anything we found difficult. Incredibly patient and friendly, leading to an overall very valuable course.

Having tried several online courses promising success, I found myself no further forward with my trading. I came across LAT when researching for a course where I would have direct access to the tutors. I felt this was important as they would be able to answer questions and clarify things that I was struggling with. I opted for the 3-month Level 5 Diploma blended course. I choose to have 5 days on campus as I live in Ireland and actually being on campus would mean me having to get a flight to London. I can assure anyone who is considering this as an option, that it is the best thing I have done to date.

The staff were always on hand to help, and with a clear and concise outline of what would be covered over the 3 months and when topics would be covered, I was able to book my on-campus days well in advance. The lectures in the classroom on campus and the lectures covered online were delivered in a way that made learning the ins and outs of trading much more simple compared to what I had got from other online courses.

On the trading floor, the tutors constantly offered their help and guidance to ensure you were getting the most out of your time with LAT. It is defiantly the best money I have ever spent and would have no problem recommending the team to anyone who is in two minds about doing the course.

Many thanks to Asanka & Paddy in particular, for all their help in getting me properly started on my trading journey. Had I not have taken the course I imagine I would still be searching the internet for the answers all the ‘gurus’ promise to have.

I found the course to be most effective and interactive in an immersive learning environment on concerned subject matter. The course tutors are highly experienced and approachable and very helpful; no question is too difficult to answer no matter how simple or difficult, thereby fostering an excellent environment to succeed.

Tive uma experiência fantástica, aprendi bastante, foram-me esclarecidas todas as dúvidas e os meus erros corrigidos. As instalações e equipamentos da academia são ótimos e o quadro de pessoal, desde os assistentes aos tutores são todos excelentes, extremamente profissionais e experientes. Aconselho todas as pessoas que pretendam iniciar no Trading, ou que necessitem de uma reciclagem devem procurar a LAT - London Academy of Trading, a melhor academia para traders!

Great professional business!, offering an excellent service. I studied the Level-5 Diploma in Applied Financial Trading, fully online option, I gained some valuable knowledge. It would have been nice to have studied some materials in house, although with living in the Isle of Man this was not possible. The course materials are very good, the video lectures are particularily good, detailed, yet explained from the basics right through to the technical content. I really enjoyed the course and would recommend it to anybody interested in financial trading, I've still got so much to learn, its a hard game, but you have to keep at it ;-).

Excellent program. Fantastic teaching and mentoring, very enthusiastic and passionate coaches and staff.

The quality of the course content, course activities, teaching and mentoring exceeded my expectations. The tutors/mentors were very passionate with knowledge transfer and were readily available to provide the needed support.

LAT has helped me understand that anyone can become a consistently profitable trader using the most basic of methods and they have also helped me gain confidence with my trading helping me understand that there is no right or wrong when it comes to trading but just stacking the odds in your favour.

I started at LAT with little to no experience of financial markets. What I did however realise is that I wanted to drastically change not only my career path but also the way I was living my life. 3 months later and now having completed my Level 5 Diploma I am a full time self sufficient Day Trader, leaving my old career behind and starting into a new journey. This has all been made possible by the team behind LAT's brilliant program. The support and experience on hand is second to none and is there to guide you through the lows (a lot of lows!!) you will inevitably have along the way.

Testament to the success and enjoyment I got from the academy I now find myself hiring a desk each week at the academy so I can stay close to the support network and continue to develop in the early stages of my new career.

I cannot recommend LAT enough and will always be grateful for the opportunity the program and the team has given me.

From someone who did not have any experience in trading or financial markets, the course has given me a footing to statt my trading career. The course materials and the support from the tutors really do help.

Having completed the 3 month Applied Trading Diploma in August, I can truthfully say that what I have learnt from the course has more than paid for the course itself in terms of profit made. The course material whilst never going beyond intermediate level of difficulty is structured and applied repeatedly and consistently 3 times a day through the excellent trading webinars to show how, discipline, common sense and patience can get you consistent returns. To get the most out of the course it is hard work, there is a lot to do in 3 months but if trading is your interest it is an enjoyable 3 months.

The reading material the course vídeos were excellent and very useful . The course plan os created so you can make your own structure plan .

The team helped me all the way through, to gain a thorough understanding of the psychology of trading. They helped me build my own unique trading strategy and test and tweak it so that it suits my lifestyle and how I want to trade. The course gave me insight and confidence and tools to deal with the psychological effects. They all have different techniques and strategies and are very patient at explaining technicals and fundamentals.
This has been an enormous help to me in future earning capacity and much more than a certification andf pikece of paper.
