I didn’t even want to give Laybuy one star I’ve been trying to contact them for weeks now heard noting

This was my go to monthly and fortnightly payment service/ personal finance for my rotary parts aka sparkplugs and many other things like my sons clothing and other items since this receivership change and it no longer being available i dont have a service to which i can use so i finshed off my payments like normal, usually i pay them quicker then exspected and am able to make new orders but now not a chance im very disappointed laybuy seemed like it was a better platform for finance via a good payment plan then other options so its gutting this has become void i am hoping they bring it back online but i dont see it happening unfortunately

I've always had good experiences with using this service. I think it's admirable the opportunities you have given those that would otherwise have been turned away for credit.
Thank you for your service, I hope to be able to use this service again soon

Not Happy with the way it’s been regarding Laybuy on Receivers

It's been really good to get stuff that I've needed & have 6wks to pay it off which makes it easier on the pocket when you're on a low income. I also sit & work out what I can afford & be able to pay over those 6wks.

This company makes it so very easy for the low to middle class average folk to buy products they would never normally be able to buy due to this awesome Laybuy system. It’s so much easier having to buy & own products without having to pay in the full amount when you don’t have the money to do so.

Awful. No communication regardless of what issues they're having.

There is nothing in the terms and conditions of the contract about Laybuy going into receivership. Under contract law in NZ, this would make the original contract VOID. Those who have taken over the liquidation need to create another contract, or they can't claim payments. This isn't how contracts are lawfully accepted, it isn't the customers fault the business has gone bankrupt. In saying that, the outstanding payments will be paid BUT as long as this is NOTED.

Absolute terrible company.
they placed two DEFAULT marks on my credit file over something i had no idea about until i pulled my credit for mortage and that is when this came about.

DEFAULT amount was not even accurate to what i know of.

this company is terrible and stay away from them.

Very grateful for the service of Laybuy. Always make sure you are within your budget to be able to use this service effectively. Definitely recommend to anyone who is very careful with spending.

Been using Laybuy now for a few years unfortunately I’ve come across some situations which I’ve not been able to resolve through the app , when trying to get in touch with customer service it’s not straight forward , trying to message them to resolve a issue is so frustrating. Just come back from abroad whilst I was there payments was needed to be made I couldn’t get onto the app nor could I change my password, I tried contacting them through the messaging service that took me forever to find & use but no reply , I’m now left owning late fees which could have been avoided. I find certain services via this very frustrating they really need to look into this .

The opt con to use this payment method was very handy for Rose unforeseen needed purchases. Will be sad to see this no longer available. Thank you 😊

I had to cancel my debit card due to an attempted fraud on it, then I was charged two late fees by laybuy while waiting for a replacement card. I tried contacting them prior to the late fees but received no reply, and I am now trying to get a refund on the fees.
