I WAS NOT INFORMED NOR AWARE THAT THIS COMPANY IS THE MIDDLE MAN THEY PASS YOU ONTO ANOTHER COMPANY. IVE PAID £250 FOR A SERVICE ON THEIR TERMS AS TO WHEN THEY DECIDE TO PICKUP. 1TO5 DAYS BEFORE PICKUP NOT INC WEEKENDS. WONT EVEN GIVE A SPECIFIC DAY JUST 1TO5 WORKING DAYS. I PHONED TO EXPLAIN THAT ITS BLOCKING MY WHOLE DRIVEWAY AND IVE GOT DELIVERY COMING ON MONDAY WHICH I WONT BE ABLE TO HAVE DUE TO THE SKIP BLOCKING ALL ACCESS. STILL THEY CANNOT TELL ME WHEN. THIS IS A FARSE OF A COMPANY IVE EVER DEALT WITH.

Completely useless, They never fetch a skip on time. 3 different collections dates. It you don't want a skip siting on your drive for ages, Don not use them. No customer services !

I emailed this company and got a reply from a "Josh" who quoted me £215+ VAT = £258 for a Mini skip.

I replied to this email reminding him i had asked for a mini skip just incase he was quoting for a larger skip and he replied confirming it was indeed for a Mini Skip.

I had previously emailed a few companies and "Mainsway skips" came back with £144 incl vat for a mini skip and they pick it up whenever I call them to come pick it up.

I then went onto Lbwaste's website and found:

I've emailed this Josh for an explanation and i am currently awaiting his reply/excuse.

Talk about lieing and unprofessional.

Absolutely rubbish!!
Third party con artists, called local skip hire, it was diverted to these scalpers, who couldn't organise a pi$$ up in a brewery... if I could give minus score I would.... AVOID! AVOID! AVOID!

I had a horrible experience with LB Waste. One thing I wish I had done differently was check the reviews beforehand. All was well until I got in touch with them regarding the schedule of collecting the skip. I made it clear that it was a skip on private ground where no one else had access. They were supposed to notify me once they scheduled the collection so that I can be available at the scene. However, they never did and the driver arrived without notification. I was penalized an additional £75 for not being around during the pickup. That made me really mad because the reason why I decided to pay them was that my neighbors were upset that there was a skip on the premises. I have been in contact with the company several times after calling and emailing them saying that the skip was ready for collection and I had received complaints from neighbors. Pictures were also provided indicating that everything was set for pickup but I heard nothing from them. This was the worst experience ever with a skip hire firm. Although the driver was polite and helped me in whatever way he could, their whole organization was totally out of touch.
It seems to be a kind of third party booking agency wherein once you pay for your service, you are no longer important. Extremely disappointed in them.
I wouldn’t advise anyone to go with them under any circumstances.

Do not use, terrible customer service and zero care for customers in general.
Take your money, park the skip with no care then don’t pick up for weeks. Still waiting on collection and never hear anything back, broken promise after broken promise. Diabolical company.

Terrible customer service. Ignoring emails and phone calls consistently, whilst also hanging up. Refusing to collect a skip having parked it at an absolutely ridiculous angle. Disabled guests have had to use the rear access becuase LB waste cannot collect their skips in over 2 weeks since request. Shocking - would not recommend them under any circumstance unless you want a skip on your drive permanently until they can be bothered collecting it.

Charge £325 + vat for a skip in Derbyshire, which is readily available for £250 + vat. Take a half filled skip and admit it’s an admin error their end but won’t refund half the cost. Do yourself a favour and cut the middle man out. Dishonest, with zero morals.

Absolutely shocking paid £250 + for a skip, which turned up at 8pm at night after i had to contact them to ask where it was, Just contacted company to collect only to be charged a further £12 to be collected, why is the collection not added to the original price, i assume all skips need collecting, a very misleading website says £150 for a mini skip but that's just for scrap metal but doesn't tell you that, won't be using these again and wouldn't recommend these, stick to a local company to you not these!
**update they did collect the skip quickly the next day

Really poor customer service, calls and emails unanswered. Skip 3 days late with no communication whatsoever. Still no skip and still no response from them. Buyer beware!

fook legal advice it will be off our land , gone tomorrow by hook or crook, cheeky buggers have cooks old skips , need investigation more as have got in contact with number on skip , not good business for them either

I wish I’d checked reviews before bothering to ring. They are rude, unprofessional and terrible at customer service. They put the phone down when I said I’d received a lower price, which they’d said they could match it. I said no thanks, as I prefer a company to just tell em their price and I’ll go with the best service but also I don’t think it’s acceptable to lower a price to beat others, just have a good price and own it. I never give bad reviews but hate rude people

Very expensive skip cost £474 for an 8 yard for it to only be a local service we had already vetoed but would have been £100 less. Ignored email to arrange for offhire and ended having to call after a week. To add insult to injury then charged us £12 extra for "fuel levy" to offhire which I have no doubt will not go to the local company. Avoid- just go local

Skip ordered for a am delivery and came pm, which put me back for loading, also charged me more for a 4yard skip that the previous 6yard skip, only good thing was the delivery guys were very good.

Very expensive, tried to make me pay a collection fee, after paying £273 for midi, I don't think so.

Awful service - do not recommend at all. I ordered a skip to come first thing on a Monday and it only arrived in the afternoon. I also booked with the company on the understanding that they would collect on the Wednesday as the skip would block my driveway. I rang on the day and they said they wouldn't collect until a week later! I can't get my car out of my driveway for over a week now as I am blocked in - can't get to work or hospital appointments as am in rural area with no public transport - and, as I am on a blind bend, the late collection also risks serious accidents during deliveries, visits etc. Astoundingly poor communication. I am extremely disappointed in this dreadful service and wouldn't recommend the company to anyone.

Don’t trust quoted price. Not honest or transparent.
Skip quoted & paid for in full on first telephone order. Only to find an extra collection fee being levied upon removal. Told this was stipulated on conformation email, however this was sent to me after payment of quoted amount. Should this have been included in quote as it’s unavoidable?
Skip was delivered & collected promptly (earning the two stars).

I wish I could select zero star! Their services was horrific from start to finish. They're very quick to take your money, but will deliver the skip whenever suits them, so be prepared to wait for days until it arrives despite any 'confirmation'. The collection was a lot worse! I had to call them tens of times and although they'd say 'tomorrow', it took over a week to be collected. They claimed to have come and didn't collect the skip because it was overloaded which it was not at all! I had to check on the cctv and the driver didn't even stop, let alone call or ring the bell. They just drove past and didn't collect because they couldn't be arsed. I would avoid at all cost! Do not hire them, find another provider and always check for reviews! I wish I had checked beforehand!
