Avoid this business as much as possible.

I purchased a car and was shown the car by Amrit Wahle who claimed to be a salesman representing Leicester Autos & Sales. He assured us the vehicle had recently had major work completed, was in good condition, and sold us what he described as an extended 6-month warranty for an additional £250 on top of the car.

Shortly after purchase, we experienced problems obtaining paperwork that was repeatedly promised but never provided even after chasing, Just three months later, the car suffered a major breakdown and had to be recovered at our expense.

When we attempted to claim under the warranty, the garage informed us they had never seen the warranty document before and suggested it was not genuine. We were also given conflicting information regarding Amrit's relationship with the business.

Initially, we were told they did not know him, but later admitted he was known to them and that they had been advertising the vehicle ‘on his behalf’.

I was misled about the condition of the vehicle, the warranty provided, and the nature of the sale and have since been ghosted and heard nothing back.

Based on our experience, I would strongly advise others to exercise extreme caution before purchasing a vehicle from ANYONE associated with this business.

Throughout this ordeal, nobody seemed willing to take any accountability. After initially denying any knowledge of this sales representative and then later admitting they knew him and had advertised the vehicle on his behalf, the garage told us they would contact him to find out what had happened and get back to us. Despite those assurances, we have heard nothing since and I cannot get through to them.

There’s been no explanations and I’ve been ultimately left with a non-running vehicle, a warranty that the garage claimed was not theirs, and no meaningful assistance from anyone involved. Just a scam and seems they’re all in on it together.

Do not know how to diagnose car problem. Charged me £1300 for waterpump and timing belt when this should be around 500 and problem not fixed. The actual problem was only cost of £70

Having agreed to buy my car through Carwow, Steve decided he didn't want to pay the price he offered and that I'd accepted. Really poor way to treat customers

My experience purchasing a car from Leicester Autos ltd was nothing but excellent. Steve who i intitally spoke to over the phone was clear and thorough with the infomation i needed about the car i was interested in and was fast to answer all my questions he helped out as much as he could. Steve left me with nothing but 100% confidence and i immediately on the phone completed my finance/ part exchange applicaton 2 days before i was set to travel from Manchester. I bought the car unseen and the day i arrived to collect, the car exceeded my expectations, ticked all the right boxes for me. Steve made the car purchase easy by offering a complete walk around of the car and pointing out the important recalls that were done saving me the hassle and inconvenience and to make sure there were no surprises once I drove away.
