If I’m being honest, this is the first time in my life I’ve been ripped off like this. Borrowing £2100 and having to repay £3750 really makes you say “wow.” Everyone makes mistakes — this one was mine.
They may fool me once, but they’ve lost a loyal customer for good. And of course, I’ll be sharing this experience with everyone I know.
I hope no one else makes the same mistake.

Very bad service and extremely unprofessional behavior. Without my permission, they used my documents and transferred them to another person. I am still stuck dealing with this issue, and no one is taking responsibility. This has caused me serious stress and inconvenience. I expected better security and customer support, but they completely failed. I do not recommend their service to anyone.

A bit of a disappointing experience
A bit of a disappointing experience. Worldpay had sent a load of messages saying the business was pre-approved and amount of £600, we don’t trade much in January so the monies would be handy to build stock. Clicked the link and had some calls. All seemed good apart from the arrangement fee of £218 on top of the £600, were a new business so I get the risk. I asked if that could be reduced but didn’t hear anything back in the time pressures that we had. So I went ahead. The agent said it was pre approved so just needed someone to release the monies. I explained too that we weren’t trading much in January but that wasn’t mentioned. So the application went off and guess what? It wasn’t pre-approved. I then had to provide account statements from Worldpay to prove income, bearing in mind this is information sent from Worldpay to Liberis to come up with the pre-approved figure. Once I managed to work out what statement they wanted it was then approved another week or so later. Then another complication, no transactions in the last 3 days, despite explaining how the business trades, we had to prove a trade before release of funds. Thankfully we did have a small trade to put through. The amount then got agreed.
£600 cost £818 in the end, the process cost us another 2 weeks. It’s painful but it eventually worked. Looking forward to building the business so we don’t need these and their process.

Your advance amount and fixed fee were discussed with you from the start, and once you confirmed you were happy to go ahead, we moved the application forward. There was a short delay while we checked whether any adjustments could be made to the fee, which unfortunately wasn’t possible due to the size of the advance.
We then needed some additional information to complete our standard checks. I appreciate that the formatting requirements weren’t as clear as they could have been, and this contributed to the back‑and‑forth. Before releasing funds, we also needed to confirm a recent transaction, which is part of our usual pre‑funding process.
I’m pleased the advance was ultimately approved, and we’re reviewing how we communicate documentation and trading requirements so the experience feels smoother for merchants in similar situations.
