I ordered from this company and paid back in June/July. Never received item, or the refund that was promised. A real shame, as earlier in the year I received the item I ordered. I’m just glad it was only the one item I ordered; it seems so many others have spent hundreds of pounds only to never receive their respective orders. Avoid this company at all costs - they still advertise on fb marketplace all the time, but based on so many recent reviews you’ll send your cash but never receive your orders. Save your hard earned money and order from a reputable, reliable company. Such a shame.

AVOID!!! Item never arrived. no response to emails. Then 3 months later they send an email saying the order is complete. DO NOT BUY FROM HERE IF YOU EXPECT A PRODUCT FOR YOUR MONEY!!

Scam company, stated delayed items then ignored emails to chase. Telephone numberb does not exist.
Website is now redirected to a us site so trying thier luck by scamming others.
This is the first time I have been scammed and also the first time I had failed to check trust pilot ahead of purchase.

Please do not make a purchase - they take your money and do not send item purchased. After weeks and weeks of chasing and being ignored, I have now succumbed to the fact I have lost A LOT of money. They are thieves and being allowed to trade, I will be reporting to trading & standards.

I urge everyone not to purchase anything from lift and press! I placed an order on 25/09/23 and haven’t received it.

After chasing this up the latest response was:

‘We are in the process of finding a new manufacturer.. michael is the owner we are in the process of buying the company from and it seems he said screw all his customers..seems like he has been robbing alot of his customers and not producing materials... please be patient we are sorting this all out..jason

Do not buy from these guys. They take your money and don’t send your item. I ordered a pair of handles back in June and despite contacting them numerous times and being told that it will be sorted… nothing.

Someone should report these guys to trading standards!! Shocking that they have been allowed to get away with it.. it’s basically theft!!

DO NOT PURCHASE! IT IS A SCAM!!!!! I'VE ORDERED FEW WEEKS AGO AND FIRST EMAIL WAS EXTREMELY RUDE FROM THEM AND SINCE THEN ALL THE EMAILS WERE IGNORED AND NOR THE ITEM WAS RECEIVED NOR REFUND MADE!!!

I ordered from this website weeks ago and still not received my order its gone way past the suggested Leadtime! There is no phone number to contact them. They do not answer emails and they have no idea what they are doing but expect you to put a good review on their page which is a BIG NO NO! terrible website do not order !!! Hoping I'm going to receive my parcel as my client is requiring it ASAP and I am having to let them down due to this unprofessional company!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

An honest and trustworthy company. Items received and are of a good standard. Postage may be slow but give them a chance because the items will arrive. Thankyou for a great serve.

I love this place! And the reason being is that you can tell right away that there is love and dedication going into everything that they produce. It's top quality kit for sure. Did it arrive the speediest? No.

Now, I did talk to the owners though and do I get it. I was reminded that they are a custom fab shop and admittedly they are making a strong push to better customer service on the correspondence side, as well as seeking out better quality couriers, because the manufacturing is already top notch.

All in all, I was really impressed and I'm happy to support them.

Always been really slow on shipping and never sends tracking, then blamed me for not receiving. But this last order of £150 they've simply refused to send the item, completely ignored me and/or lied about its location. Promised a refund in 5-7 working days which they've now missed by over 2 weeks, completely ignoring all emails.

Tried to get my bank involved but the company supposedly is in so much debt that funds can't be retrieved due to so many open cases against them.

Utter shambles of a company. Avoid at all costs.

Oh how I wish I had read these reviews before placing an order .I have placed an order 7th August and Sent numerous emails for a follow up but no reply .I can't locate a tel number .this company is as awful to deal with as several people have mentioned.on other reviews .i have no expectation that my delivery will arrive thankfully its not an expensive piece of equipment but all the same very frustrating

Update I have still not had any contact. I have reported lift and press to trading standards in the hope that no one else gets treated this poorly

BEWARE, LIFT & PRESS IS A SCAM WEBSITE!
I ordered a punch bag stand on 25/07/23 and as at 17/08/23 the item hasn't been delivered. Lift and press are not responding to my emails and the phone number on their website is invalid. I'm reporting them to the Consumer Ombudsman and have asked my bank to assist in getting my money back.

Order placed on 26th July. Still no sign of delivery or even dispatch notification.

Tried to contact multiple times, however no response from Lift and Press.

Now having to request a refund through bank.

Utter scumbags, avoid this company.

Ordered a dummbell rack on the 13th May. Was advised would be delayed due to shipping issues at the port. Was originally told I’d receive 20% refund for the inconvenience of Hermes not delivering and another rack would be sent out. Heard nothing. Tried to call number but it’s disconnected. 2 Instagram messages advising I’d get a call (it never came) then after chasing one deflecting me asking if I’d received a call two days earlier. No contact now for 2 weeks. Have requested a refund. Will be taking this further legally.

Terrible service & communication. They kept delaying posting my order, after a month I gave up and got refunded via pay pal. Don't waste your time

Do not purchase from Lift & Press!

I received items of poor quality and arranged a return of the items accordingly, the manager was very accommodating at first, arranged the return of the items and confirmed they had been returned in February 2023. Still no sign of my money being refunded 4 months later and has ceased all communication with me! I have emailed multiple times and raised a query via the contact form on the website. Very disappointed that I hadn’t read the reviews on here first before ordering. Buyers be wary! Avoid!!

I never received my order, I’ve emailed on numerous occasions however I never received a response. I would advise anyone to think twice before placing an order with Lift and Press.

Ordered a rack from these guys. Weeks later and no response via email or phone. Just downright theft if anything.

Order belt attachment for rig in Jan, took ages to arrive to multiple logistical issues. On use it became clear it wasn't safe - J cup fixing with no safety pin, peg through rig only just cleared by 1mm through the boxing and when you moved any lateral movement made the attachment spin and weights drop off the pegs. Raised the issue and they offered to change for a new sandwich fixing based on other feedback. Gave this a go but same issue, also the welding of the bolts was poor and misaligned. Their attitude changed to combative and blame because "im the only one" who's had issues but reading other reviews shows I'm not. They blame everything else other than accept responsibility.

Requested refund, they agreed and I sent back the item and they received. They argue about giving me a free £2 belt as a sign of their customer service but their attitude is not focused on customer service. They claim they have processed a refund but now don't answer emails or social media. - will be charging back via my bank and reporting to trading standards and the police.
