Initial call-email from the sales…
Initial call-email from the sales person (Gary Brown) was right on time. But involving multiple people (3 or 4) caused miscommunication. A technician showed up without being asked by our company and he had plastic forklift cage bushings instead of brass (we needed the best).
Unfortunately we had another arrangement already and had to decline Liftow service.
We did not receive any confirmation on training dates
We did not receive any confirmation dates back from Liftow telling me when they would send an instructor to our plant for practical evaluations. I did not even get an email saying they would get back to me later. In the past I would deal with Hans directly about the availability of training dates for instructors or classes dates. He would tell me same day or the next day and i would send the PO and book the date.
When trying to book training dates this last time I communicated that we had an urgent need to have forklift training and I did not get a response. I had to send many email and make a lot of phone calls to get a response. Your new process for booking classes is not effective and waste a lot of my time and my buyer time. My boss was very frustrated and is saying it time to look for alternate training companies. We do not have time to waste chasing companies who do not appreciate our business.

Sean has been very helpful over the past year with our purchases of multiple units. Pricing, setting them up for our specifications, updating throughout the process and following up after deliveries to ensure everything is satisfactory.
Tyler came in with Sean after deliveries and got us set up for maintenance and was able to work thing out so that we can have them all set up on the same schedule (every three months) working off their annual safety.
A Quarter Century Partnership
When I came to this facility, there were approximately sixty lift trucks in use,
split between four different, separately held tenant companies. The lift trucks in use represented eight or nine different manufacturers. At that time (1993), Toyota lift trucks represented 10% of the total combined fleets. Today, Toyota
lift trucks account for 98% of the total combined fleet. That is a testament to a vendor who showed a keen interest in our needs, and responded to them positively, at all times. As we transitioned from LPG to Electric lift-trucks, the Liftow Team was helpful, supportive, and always willing to listen to their customer, to the extent of bringing representatives from Toyota Takahama Plant, Columbus IN, Greene NY to our facility to discuss changes, improvements, etc., to new models with our lift-truck mechanic and our operators, and in case taking our suggestion for a possible improvement.
Our thanks to Mike Kirk, Dennis Youdell, David Irwin, and Team Liftow for helping to build a quarter century partnership.

i purchased a fully reconditione 7FGCU
i purchased a fully reconditioned (checked out lift truck) with 6 month warranty.
the starter went out right after- it should have been replaced prior to selling to me.
Also 2 of the lift devise hoses were zip tied insteda of using proper fittings- when asked they said zip tie is better!!!!!
