Stay Far Away from this Company!

I loved the style of a lot of light fixtures on this website and was so excited when I ordered one. When it arrived, we checked to make sure nothing was broken or bent during shipping and everything looked good. We didn't have a chance to install it for a couple of months and kept it safe in a closet. Two days ago, my husband had time to install it, which also included taking apart our bed to move it out of the way and taking down the old light. He had the light from Light Fixtures USA wired, put in new bulbs, and one didn't work. We tested it with another bulb to make sure and it didn't work either.

We did not want to re-wire the old fixture and re-assemble the bed only to have to do it all again, so we spent our evening finding a new fixture locally and installing it. I contacted Light Fixtures USA to tell them what had happened and they did not care. At all.

I received two emails spaced 24 hours apart offering no help and making ridiculous requests. First, they wanted a "picture of the damage," which cannot be photographed. What do they want, a photo of the not lit up light. It's wiring damage or something with the socket. Then, they wanted me to use an electric pen (which we do not have) and take a video doing tests on it, all while knowing that we had to buy a different light to install. It's ridiculous to think that we'd sit there without a light and our bed un-assembled for days and days while they "troubleshoot" this broken light fixture.

Stay far away from this company! Even if you try to do a return within the return window, it sounds like they will run you around in circles doing everything they can to not accept the return. I had a few other fixtures picked out from them that I was planning to buy soon and I'm so glad I didn't. The light fixture is still packed in the box (ready to be sent back) now in our trash pile for the dump this weekend.

Update: They finally refunded us, but only after making us break the glass, cut the wires, and send pictures of it. It’s so gross and wasteful. You’d think that if they don’t want the product back they’d at least allow you to give it to Habitat for Humanity or something where an electrician might volunteer their time to fix the fixture.

This is a well orchestrated scam even the responses to the reviews are nothing but scam I ordered a light fixture weeks ago no response no shipping date won't return emails phone number goes no where, US address is a building for sale, this is a very well laid out overseas scam stay away at any cost and believe nothing you read about responses to complaints

Not receiving product I ordered

I ordered 2 pendants a week ago and got a confirmation email with an order number, but no expected shipping date. I have emailed them and tried to call to get an update to find out if I’m actually going to receive the lights I paid for and if so, when, but haven’t gotten any response.

Scam company Run By Foreigners With No Phone

I ordered a light and got an acknowledgement email with no shipping date projected. Waited five days, then sent email asking for status. No response at all. No way to contact them so must dispute charge through credit card company. They have policies that include giving a projection within 48 hours and in stock shipping with 3-5 days via UPS or Fedex. How is this scam allowed? ** Received a reply and it is clear this is a scam run by foreigners. The basic English mistakes are obvious. Same character Leila writes " they have no phone." No Legit USA company is unreachable by phone! The second I wrote to my credit card company, they issued credit. Clearly they are aware of this unlawful operation.

I ordered a light fixture on April 21st. It said it would take 3-4 weeks. Its now June and I've had ZERO communication from them since the order confirmation. I have emailed, I have called (their number is now out of service) and still nothing. This website is looking like its a scam...

Replacements

I was shipped some replacements when the fixture I bought broke. After I contacted the company, and even though I was beyond the replacement date, they shipped me a couple of bulbs to replace the broken ones. I hadn't opened the packages because I was waiting for my electrician, which put me out of date. I was very pleased, the fixtures are gorgeous!

We had a horrible experience with Light…

We had a horrible experience with Light Fixtures USA. Both fixtures came in damaged and not repairable. Instead of making a return and refund simple, Light Fixtures USA customer service first tried to negotiate a discount if we keep the lights. Then, still tried to charge us return shipping. Then, asked for detailed pictures and made us cut the cables and send them pictures of all the parts to prove we aren't actually using them. All of this correspondence took 2 weeks of back and forth waiting on their replies. I had to threaten to call my credit card company to get it resolved. Would never purchase from this company again.

Light fixture USA, all lights are made in china. They have the worst return policy I have ever been a part of. They have awful customer service to go along with there awful return policy. I highly recommended no one buys from this horrific business. I'm sorry but I am just being as honest as I can. One of the worst experiences of my life, and on top of it they kept have my return money for themselves with some ridiculous $56.00 label fee that I had to pay for.

They do not have an easy return policy. They have insane return rates and it’s over 30% of my purchase price to send back the item. Disappointed.

Looked nothing like the picture..horrible return policy

The fixture I received looked nothing like the photo.
I purchased the french brass crystal antique globe. the frame is covered in beads and it was very disappointing and huge! It's very big and cheap looking. I never removed it from the box. When I requested a return, Ms Leila told me it would be $523 to return it or they would give me $70 to keep it or I could try to sell it. I feel scammed and taken advantage of. I will find a way to get that cheap looking monstrosity back to them. I have a return for a light that is bigger and heavier from another online lighting company and they charged me $35 to return it so I know this company is taking advantage of it's customers, I will never shop with them again!

$34 to return a fixture that was never installed!

Received a fixture that was too small for the area I had in mind. It was never installed and now they want me to pay $34 to send it back or try to find a less expensive way to send it back at my expense! If I use their shipping label for $34 my refund will be $62.66 when I paid $96.66 for the light. In addition, they also offered me $25 to keep the light. I will NEVER purchase from them again or recommend them.

Great product, great price, great experience

Shipping time was really quick, notifications and updates were timely and communicative, but best of all, we love our chandelier and the price was great. Quality looks like we spent much more. I would definitely buy from lightfixturesusa again.
