Starting with a very realistic assessment of the market, advising on what we could do to improve the property, finding a good number of genuinely interested buyers for viewings and being very professional throughout with great communication. Linay and Shipp provided an excellent service for our house sale.

They understood our perspective in terms of the price we wanted to go for, and we were given good advice without being pushed at all into taking any decisions.

We were well informed prior to viewings, and got useful detailed feedback after each one. We were unfortunate in that the first buyer decided to pull out after a protracted period (no fault of Linay and Shipp), but they helped get the house back on the market again swiftly, and we had a new offer very quickly.

Unfortunately the solicitors for the buyers were less than organised, but the team at Linay and Shipp managed to get things pushed forward by persistence and effort. Without that, the sale might have taken weeks, or even months longer, so we are very grateful. They seemed to know more about the legal requirements of the house sale than the buyer's solicitors....

We would highly recommend.

Really great experience from start to finish. Took great pictures of our property which were realistic. Found a buyer for us straight away. Were always available when we had a question or a query. Helpful, knowledgeable and whilst I hope not to move again for a longtime I would definitely use them again and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to other people.
