Hoping the plant will survive as it was thrown over the fence into my back garden & left in full sun in the heatwave. There was no notification it had been delivered, they didn't even knock on my door.

TERRIBLE DISHONEST COMPANY!

Oh how the mighty fall. In the greatest traditions of UK companies that start off ok and then just steadily go down hill. Linc’s Pond Plants have become a complete joke. I purchased some plants at Amazon. When I received the package it was for 4 not 5 as I had ordered. One was dead and had disintermediated, another was half dead. The plants were not even 5 cms long and in terrible condition. You cannot speak to a human at LPP, only a very irritating Ai bot, that does not take your details. I gather the office at LPP is run by a school boy who is clueless. I gave up trying to deal with LPP direct as it was clear they were not interested. Amazon has issued me a full refund. There are plenty of pond plant sales companies online, do your self a favour and deal with ANYONE of them. Take my advice and do not deal with this amateurish and disrespectful company.

Don’t bother they are naff…

I spent over 130.00 to say the plants are a disappointment is a understatement, I emailed saying the weed and other plants had actually rotted, numerous plants were yellow, one had all the roots showing so I had to buy additional soil, initially a lady, Sophie said I could have a refund on the dead weed, I sent her additional pictures of the yellowing dying plants, a man Oliver replied saying they all looked healthy, to make sure I had them correctly placed, I had done as directed, he just gaslite my concerns and fobbed me off. I will never use this company again. I gave one star, because at least Sophie acknowledged there was a problem. She said she would issue a refund, as yet I have not received it, after Oliver’s message I don’t expect to see a penny!

While aquatic plants can sometimes display signs of seasonal dieback, transit stress, or require time to establish, we recognise that each customer's concerns deserve to be carefully considered and addressed.

Second time in purchasing from them

Second time in purchasing from them. The plants were very poor quality. We contacted them and sent them a pic of the plants saying they were unsalvageable. They disagreed and wanted us to send the plants back. By the time they replied we had already binned them. £80 we won’t be getting back . We won’t be buying from them again.

Disappointing second purchase

Disappointing second purchase. Plants were broken when arrived and only sent 4 out of the 5 water lilies from advertised pack of 5. Contacted firm to say not bothered about refund but that they should consider their courier. Received no reply which reflects their customer service.

Poor quality plants

Having read the reviews for this company, I decided to place an order.
Water soldiers, fell apart. Sent some more, same thing.
I did btw order some from an ebay site that have not only survived, but flourished.
Frogbit, died, again I ordered from an ebay site and they are looking good.
The oxygenating weed is hanging on.
Finally some good news, my water lily is looking good.
Having spent £67 on this site I have ended up with a bare rooted lily and some poorly oxygenating weed

My first and last experience with this…

My first and last experience with this company..
Ordered some perennials from this company on 23/02
Month later On 23/03 i emailed asking for update regarding delivery as there was no email that my plants were dispatched. After emailing back and forth for another month, and being told multiple times that the order will be processed ect (responses were very few and far in between, i had to chase every week or so) i asked for refund couple of times and was ignored, so i requested refund from Paypal at the end of April which was granted
AVOID AVOID AVOID, i dont know whats wrong with this company, seems like they pick and choose whos orders they will actually dispatch

After a week of emailing this company

After a week of emailing this company, I received no customer service or response to my concerns.

I ordered four aquarium plants. Unfortunately, only one arrived in good condition.

The Java fern was excellent, healthy, and is doing very well in my aquarium. No complaints at all, 10/10.

The Ceratopteris thalictroides was only just surviving on arrival. It wasn’t in great condition and I’d rate it around 4/10. 9 days later I have thrown it away and got a better specimen from a company that actually cares about their customers.

The hornwort was the biggest disappointment. It arrived dark brown, almost black. I know it can regrow but after 9 days in a separate tank, it’s soft, and unhealthy. It didn’t smell right and was clearly not in the condition I would expect. It is now in the bin and shouldn’t have been sent to me like that. The next days later I purchased hornwort from another company and it arrived bright green, healthy, and thriving, which highlighted just how poor the plant supplied by this company was.

The Salvinia natans was also in very poor condition. After dipping it to check for hitchhikers, I found extensive browning underneath. This wasn’t normal die-back that would recover, it appeared to be deteriorating and becoming mushy. I ended up throwing it away on the day of delivery as I didn’t trust its condition.

I contacted the company immediately about the hornwort when I opened the package, and then again after noticing issues with the other plants, I received no reply from them.

The only reason I am giving 2 stars is because the Java fern was excellent. Unfortunately, the quality of the other plants and the complete lack of customer service means I won’t be purchasing from this company again.

A disappointing experience and, sadly, a waste of money on my order 34595.

Very helpful & knowledgeable staff at…

Very helpful & knowledgeable staff at RHS show & 2yr later by email. Helped me select appropriate plants for my small wildlife pond. Marginals arrived ok but oxygenates mostly slime because Royal Mail delivered very late - we were in but that person hadn’t bothered to try our door. Lincs Plants immediately sent replacements free of charge - and put a hold on it as we were going away. I hope they were reimbursed by the Royal Mail.
What I need now is advice on ongoing care - do the small plants in small pots need to be potted on into larger baskets next year?

As a general guide, many marginal pond plants will benefit from being moved into larger baskets once they become well established and start filling their current pot. This is often every 1 to 3 years depending on the variety and growth rate. If you’re unsure about any specific plants, please get in touch with details of what you purchased and we’ll be happy to advise on their ongoing care and whether they will need repotting next season.

I don’t think I have ever written a…

I don’t think I have ever written a negative review before , I spent £87 on plants and under half have been successful, the Achillia did look dry when they arrived , I soaked and planted them the same day but they were too far gone.. The sedum were fine but they are pretty robust.
Did speak to customer service but not at all helpful with no offer of any replacements. Not sure if delays in postage maybe ?

From zero......

I had a real problem with the first order of aquatic plants and would have given 0 stars, however, credit where it is due, I was listened to and it was sorted out quickly for me.
The replacements came today and they are healthy and lovely.
Thank you for rectifying what was initially not a good experience.

Plants, packaging, despatch - an excellent company.

Not only are the plants in excellent condition but the packaging was so carefully done that the plants arrived as they were packed ( unlike many other on line plant suppliers!). The despatch was swift. It was a pleasure to find such a professional company.

i ordered £50 of plants on 24 hour tracked delivery! they showed up 8 days later with a broken box and very sorry squished plants ! emailed with photos to be told they will probably pick up !!!!

Worst plants I’ve received

Generally wish I hadn’t used this nursery. Charged a premium delivery fee but actually receive a slow and misleading service (you get an email a week before despatch). When your order arrives, the pond plants are nothing like the photos on the website, the stalwart was tiny floating clumps, the ranunculus was mainly stem with 2 good leaves (acceptable quality).
I really don’t like the compost they send with the water lily kits, luckily I put it in a bucket before placing in the pond because it left an oily layer on top of the water. (Lily was good quality) and the iris was ok.

I would not recommend this nursery to anyone, nor will I use them again. Save your money go elsewhere!

Nice plants in excellent packaging.

The plants took a long time to arrive and were in transit for several days so I was worried about what state they would be in on arrival. However they were really well packed and still looked like healthy plants with good information included in the pack - so overall I am very pleased.
