Would like to know do you have telegram group or somewhere where the learners can communicate? As a beginner who learns alone, sometimes I feel little lost cuz there’s nobody to communicate or ask immediately if I have some doubt, then after I learned the video class I just forgot the doubt. It would be wonderful if you guys offer some opportunities for the learners! Cheers!

I recently took the Life Time Membership of Lingoni. I enjoy the app very much. The quality and clarity of the content is great, 5 stars for that. I would cut 1 or 2 stars for the following fact that - it is only possible to make progress a very linear fashion. That means, you have to pass the exercise after every lesson to unlock the next lesson. Each completed lesson thereafter gets listed into the "Completed lessons" tab and you can revisit them any time in future. BUT only if you complete them! My level is somewhere between A2 and B1. I took the Milestone test of A1 to unlock the next A2 level, and milestone test of A2 to unlock the next B1 level. But sometimes I still wish to do the interactive exercises of topics like - Akkusative, Dative cases, which, unfortunately, are part of level A1 50th lesson. As I have not completed any lessons of A1, that means, even if I know basic stuff like "hi-hallo", "numbers/colors/days/months" etc., I can not simple skip all those lesson and, lets say, jump to 50th lesson!! For me, that is a major drawback of the App. Being a programmer myself I do believe that it is relatively straightforward to change the algorithm, so that if a person clears a milestone test, all the lessons of the previous test gets marked as "completed", and hence, accessible! This would make the app much more appealing to a person joining the app by giving that person the freedom to tune-in at a level that is best suited for that person. P.S. I know that for LifeTime members all the content is accessible via OneDrive folder, I can download all the exercises and do any lesson/any level I wish, but again, that is outside the nice interactive App! I wish to put in the efforts to learn a topic and also get the satisfaction of using the App, be part of the leadership board, track my score/progress etc. I hope to see these changes in any future upgrades, hopefully relatively soon.

Great start. not finding an actual app that is refferenced. Thinking maybe it is just the web site. An actual App would be great.

As i proceed towards the end of A1 course,i came across some mistakes and repititons especially in word , podcast applicatons and exercises.I advise you to review the contents carefully and fix them.

Very well-designed lessons and supporting materials, oriented precisely to the learning goals that are central to mastering the language. Excellent presentations by all of the teachers in the videos. This is precisely the kind of no-nonsense, competence-oriented course I was looking for. It lived up to all of my expectations.

It has good practice exercises. They are short and simple to understand and practices. It builds confidence for the student. The short videos are very helpful to understand practicing just after watching videos is an effective way to learn.

Sometimes the website has an issue of marking the right answer wrong. I have faced this couple of times so far despite writing the correct answer the website counted it as a wrong answer.

Very detailed and fun exercises. They motivate you to study german very well.

I've only just started, but my rating is this so far.

The program is good and I'm enjoying the contents. One thing I dislike is sending me discount offer repeatedly even after I started a subscription.

Excellent tool to learn

I bought into Lingoni as I had really enjoyed the YouTube lessons and thought accessing the activities and exercises available on the app would help my German. I’m only a few lessons in and have become frustrated by some of the exercises/activities not making sense, including content that has not been mentioned in any lessons to date (so no idea of the question let alone the answer) and trouble downloading some things. I will persevere and hopefully things improve.

I effectively gave up on learning German before stumbling on their youtube channel. Now, I have bought their course

Well built platform, interactive and helpful.
The learning process consists of three main spheres : Grammar, vocabulary, and podcasts.
The work sheets are extremely useful and comfortable to work on (Not necessarily required to be printed).
So far I haven't encountered into any disappointments - Beautifully done!

Lingoni French has all the ingredients to become a major online course for anyone who wants to learn french. It has very good lessons which explain in an enjoyable way how the language is constructed and provides plenty of examples to show how structures are used in everyday practice. It also has very good vocabulary lessons, one new word per lesson, and very good podcasts as backup practice to hear spoken French. All three, lessons, vocabulary and podcasts are accompanied by well-prepared and effective, easy but important, written exercises which the student can then submit for instantaneous correction which allows you to see how you are doing. Once completed, all three modules are left available for the student to refer to and redo as often as one wants. There is also a pronunciation course for listening to and practising French pronunciation but which is not integrated into the rest of the course. Students can use this module optionally.
When it comes to using the course, there are two downsides which I would like to mention. If those responsible for this course want to make this a really top-class course which could lead the market, then they should remedy two aspects of its present state. Both have to do with the practice aspect of the course. One concerns the actual exercises. Unfortunately there are a number of errors in the exercises as they stand. All this needs is for somebody to go through both the activity sections and the exercise section and eliminate these minor errors. I already sent a comment to the site regarding one such error, which I have since seen is repeated throughout, confusing the first person plural with the second person plural. Unfortunately, there are other errors, not many, but they shouldn't be there.
Another problem has to do with technical aspects. Others, I believe, have drawn attention to the fact that correct answers submitted by students are sometimes marked as mistakes. I will give a concrete example I have just experienced in the AI vocabulary exercise 56. My answer in this case was marked as incorrect. I photographed the example if anyone wants to see it.
Correct mistake: L'eau est transparante.
You wrote: L'eau est transparante.
Answer: L'eau est transparante.
This should not appear in a course for which people are paying a considerable price and the authors of which are really concerned to help people to learn. Errors like this spoil this course and give it a sloppy appearance which it doesn't deserve. A lot of work and a lot of thought has obviously gone into this course. It's a shame to spoil it with examples like this.
Lastly there are problems with loading the media. The sound or oral-based exercises very often load with no sound in the last sentence of the three provided. Of course you can start all over again, reload and hope it loads properly the second time. Then you have to repeat all the exercises again and even then you may have to load the lot a third time. It has happened to me. The server is failing in some way. Maybe it doesn't have the required capacity.
The course needs a little more work and care to make it what it could be. I would love to give it five stars but these problems need to be corrected. I hope I can give it all five very soon. In the meantime I recommend it to all my friends, but tell them to ignore the problems. Maybe I should do just that, but this review is for the people who have made the course. I admire you for your work but it is not finished yet.

A good App but need some subtl changes to make it more user friendly.All levels should be available by default and if someone just wants to revise then the ability to skip a lesson is a must. The full list for each level e.g. Lessons AI should be as a clickable as a link direct to that lesson. It is very annoying to miss a test due to the lack of a full stop, I have no problem wit Capitalised nouns or umlauts but lack of a full stop should not be fatal to a question. I have decided to refresh my A1,A2 WHILE i Study B1 so it is important for me that I can jump in and select a subject of interest. I hope the team can look at my comments especially the ability to jum forward in a level.
