Linguana made it simple to translate my Squarespace website to Spanish. It really helped us expand into a more international business, with customers now in Latin America.

Our experience with Linguana has been an absolute nightmare. We discovered that Linguana automatically converts our clean Webflow "br>" tags into "br/>" during import. As a result, the translated version does not match the original HTML structure and our entire site fails to translate properly.

We reported this issue on Friday morning, and yet no one from support has responded or provided a fix. We are still stuck with a broken multilingual setup.

For a paid tool claiming to work seamlessly with Webflow, this is unacceptable. It’s overpriced, full of bugs, and completely unreliable. We’re extremely disappointed and cannot recommend Linguana at this stage.

As a digital agency, we’ve tested multiple translation tools – and Linguana really stands out. The integration was seamless, the setup quick, and the translated content was incredibly accurate. Especially for multilingual websites, it’s a cost-effective and powerful alternative to many overpriced tools out there.

Linguana has an ultra affordable and elegant solution for WordPress website localization. Linguana stands out among the other options. It was perfect for my situation and had my site localized in an afternoon.

Linguana works perfectly once you get past the setup. And it is so so so so much less expensive than Weglot and the other options. Highly recommend

The serivce has come a logn way since last I tried it. Had a pretty critical issue today. Support answered my email very quickly got everything fixed and sorted quickly.

Orignally I was frustated by the serivce because it had a few to many bugs here and there but its since matured into a pretty competent tool that fits my companies needs perfectly.

And as you can see they're active here in trustpiolot so its clear that they care about their customers experience

DO NOT use linguana. The software works for some time, once you do updates to your site something doesnt work and you have to reach out to support which is unfortunately very weak and doesnt help at all. I was hoping there is some kind of alternative to weglot but this is nowhere close.

I submitted a support ticket and it has been five days without a response.

The WORST company in the ENTIRE WORLD, they let you pay for their services but don't give you the features. On top of this, they never replied to our dozens of requests, mails, even on twitter they are mouth shut. I hope they fare well..NOT! O and by the way THANKS FOR NOTHING!

No one replies to their support email, you're literally emailing into the void, so you better hope everything works perfectly which it doesn't.

There's lots of issues but the biggest for me is that Linguana doesn't handle multiple versions of the same language correctly, eg localized versions of English or French etc.

eg it should do en-nz for New Zealand English, en-uk for British English, etc, but it only has en and en-ca

Even with the en-ca implementation, it still shows a US flag :facepalm:

And there is no fr-ca for Canadian French for example

Linguana is very easy to use and quick to adapt. I especially like that you can control the translations without the automatic translation that Weglot has every time you change a small detail in the original website.
