Poor systems and unethical business practice
Travelled on City Link because I missed the pre-Toll exit in late Jan. Promptly purchased a day pass in the evening to ensure I don't get a bill from them. Lo and behold an invoice arrived for $18.20. Contacted their call centre, was told they could not match my car rego with the day pass. Sent them my Credit Card statement as proof of day pass purchase. Nothing resolved. In the meantime another invoice arrived for $32.73. Made a complaint to their Complaint website, which promises a response in 2 days. It's now day 4, no response to date. This invoice is now due in 3 days time. If am sure the next invoice/ cost will be astronomical for a $3.20 toll cost (for which I am not at fault), which makes me think they do this on purpose to extract more money out of unsuspecting motorists. It's poor business practice and unethical. They should be ashamed of themselves.
They make it difficult to pay your bill
I received a bill for a trip that I did not take. The trip was made by a family member while I am overseas. That family member tried to pay to bill but could find no way to do it on Linkt's website. In the meantime, my credit card details were stolen so I had to cancel the card. This left me with no way to pay the bill. I called Linkt and they wouldn't give me a BPay method until I proved who I was. I'm trying to deal with this from 8400km away and I can't get a BPay number from them without proving my ID. Does Linkt think that my cunning fraud scheme involves giving them money? I did get the BPay details but, Linkt, if you are going to charge us exorbitant fees for using our roads the least you could do is make it easy to pay the fees you gouge us for.
Awful company and awful system
Awful company and awful system. No clear signage for toll roads. They won’t tell you if you have been through a toll road to pay for it so that they can charge you a late fee and admin charge for sending it to you. They don’t have a proper reason as to why they can’t tell you if you have been through a toll road. Basically impossible to use as a tourist. A scamming money grabbing company.

My credit card expiry date had to be renewed, after numerous attempts to rectify and tell links what had happened. I managed to connect give them my new details.Yesterday I received my latest Statement that showed my payments had been taken, Today I received a message from Linkt to tell me my used date had run out.Not the least bit happy with your service.

We had a statement from Linkt showing credit. We travelled to Mooloolaba and return. Received a statement without the last three trips on it, but there was still a substantial credit. Next we received an email to say our account was suspended. I phoned and Linkt said their statement was incorrect and that there had been mistakes on it. I have not received any explanation of the mistakes and according to me I should still have credit.

Worst application need to fix this sh**t asap. The call center should be in this country not overseas they dont the problems and laws of this country.
Terrible Service even when you are trying to do the right thing and pay a toll
We are visiting the East Coast and have never used Linkt before … but traveling between Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane it is so confusing and you’re paying money to “open accounts” and before you even pay tolls. Even when you are trying proactively to ensure you pay tolls on time, you have to listen to call centre pre-amble for 5 mins, try to pay for a pass but the answers are confusing. The app and the website aren’t any better. Very disappointing. All I wanted to do was to pay a toll and an hour later still trying. And to make matters worse, the call centre agent hung up on my when I was trying to understand the easiest way to simply pay a toll for driving on a Sydney toll road.

Seriously, my call went to a call center overseas, and the English level of the support office was like IELTS 2, with very poor English, Linkt shame making millions of $ yet can not support local Australian jobs

Why does it take over a month to get toll payments to appear on my account? Haven't had an account statement generated in months. The company is an absolute mess. $10+ to travel the Burnley tunnel in vic? Daylight robbery.

What a stuff around. Spoke to a Mary midi in Phillipines who was rude . I'm ringing up to pay a toll. All I got was bla bla , " all I want to do is pay my toll. Keep it in Australia and make it easy for people to pay.
Some don't want an account, some don't want to give credit card details to Phillipine , some just want to pay the toll.
Sort it out.
No reply to complaint about $$ demanded on existing auto top up account
Even though my account details hadn’t changed, I received a Notice of Demand for unpaid tolls plus extra fees. The same auto deduction had previously been in place and nothing had expired. After contacting them twice and lodging two complaint forms they have not bothered to call me back to explain. This level of poor customer service is unacceptable, especially when Linkt are taking money from me.

Not getting any better. Tried calling the contact number in the hours that they are supposed to be available to calls. Too busy to speak to me. Will call me in "24-48 hours". Web chat not empowered to speak to me.
