I ordered from Livestainable on 27 May 2026 (Order 72165, R720.37 via Payflex). Four months later I still have no delivery, no tracking number and no refund.
I asked for a refund on 6 June and sent my banking details on 24 June. All I got was a generic apology blaming a supplier stock take and a promise to dispatch "as soon as possible." Then they went quiet, and now their website says the store is unavailable.
Robust discomfort doesn't even cover it. I feel scammed. Don't give them your money.

Order never arrived and poof they are gone.

Absolute scam. Can we not report them at SAPS or the Hawks? I even went to their shop in Pretoria - nobody there....

Experience, they never delivered my products, I requested my refund they told me I’ll receive it in 7-14 working days it’s now 4 months later and I’m still waiting.

They blocked me on their WhatsApp and they’re not picking up their phone calls! 🤬🤬🤬

I bought egg trays from them on 05 June 2026. Until now, I keep getting emails saying my order is on its way, and I have no number to get hold of them; only email, as the number I have does not get anyone to hold it.

Never buy from these guys; they are a scam!!!

Disgusting paid a lot of money, not received the goods. No responce to phone calls, emails and their web site has been removed. Seems I have been defrauded

This company has closed its doors so anyone waiting for their order to be delivered unfortunately will not receive their goods nor their money back !!!!

Order placed 2 weeks ago, no communication since. Don't answer emails or calls. And now it looks like their website is down. I have had excellent experiences before. Clearly something has gone wrong.

Placed an order and paid, 22 days ago. No support, no communication, no updates. I've sent emails that goes unanswered. Extremely disappointed and would avoid doing business with such a company.

Placed order 18 days ago, nothings been shipped yet. Zero communication, phones not answered either.

Looks like what might have been a legitimate business once has evolved into a scam company.

Review of Livestainable.co.za – Order #71948

I placed an order with Livestainable.co.za on 24 May 2026 for two items:

The website clearly showed the items as “Available for purchase” and “Available for pickup, usually ready in 12 to 72 hours.”

I paid and received confirmation emails and a tax invoice. At no point was I informed that the item was not in stock.

Only one item was shipped, while the converter was never delivered. Despite multiple emails, Livestainable provided misleading excuses, including blaming a supplier stock take, which Victron South Africa later confirmed was false. I repeatedly requested either shipment or cancellation with a refund. On 15 June, Livestainable confirmed cancellation and asked for my banking details, which I provided. However, as of 18 June—26 days after my order—no refund has been processed, and no arrangements have been made to collect the delivered item.
This experience shows clear stalling tactics and a lack of intention to resolve the matter. The product remains falsely listed as “available” on their website, which is deceptive. I strongly caution others against purchasing from Livestainable.co.za, as they failed to deliver, misrepresented stock availability, and have not honored their refund commitment.

We bought an Alva gas stove from the website. It seemed to show that it was a good stove. DO NOT trust them. The stove was delivered by one gentleman and me as a woman had to help him carry the stove into the house due to being short staffed. Day 2 the oven started falling apart. The one knob fell of while putting it on and the spring and contents landed up on the floor. The other knobs were skew. The oven rubber looked old and of poor quality. The dealings with the operations manager and Alva themselves have been very poor. They have yet to refund thousands of rands for the stove due to poor excuses. I cannot believe that a company can operate with not having their phones answered. I called 10 times on one day and 10 times on another day with only success on the third day. Alva is yet to come back to me and Livestainable has gone quiet. I will not purchase any products from either company going forward due to poor customer service beyond belief. Shame on you!

You battle to get through to them on the phone. emails remain unanswered. Eventually got through to a guy by the name of Jacques, but does not return your calls. I think going forward I will give these guys a miss. Not lekker dealing with them.

Made inverter repair company (Repower SA) made two orders and both orders are missing products. The most recent order contained two MPPT's that are very expensive, and they just left one out. They also don't answer any calls or whatsapps... nothing. So what now? Garbage service.

Very poor online experience. First, they did not have stock of the item. Then they emailed and later phoned me to confirm if they can swop out the item. I was quite clear over the phone that i wanted standard (not slimline) carbon 20"filters, so agreed over the phone. So 2 weeks later the stock arrives and the width clearly does not match the image of the item sold. Neither did the description state slimline. I request an online return, with the attached side by side image, clearly showing the issue out. Putting the 2 items image side by side. Henk Coetzee (very rude marketing and online manager/owner) then proceeded to phone me, which ended with him putting the phone down in my ear. Very highly strung individual that obviously yet to get to learn to deal with customers issue to resolve them. Even threaten me with legal action (totally unfounded) and closing my account. It is so important that you make sure that images that is loaded on your online presence matches the product that you going to sell. if not it just misrepresentation and you should acknowledge the mistake and try and make right with the customer. not insist on a 25% handling fee and shipping cost.

Ordered, confirmed, delivered on time. Excellent service all round.
