Hands down the best hobby shop in South Wales. The team will always bend over backwards for their customers — nothing is ever too much trouble. The staff are incredibly knowledgeable, genuinely passionate, and they really care about the people who walk through their door. A fantastic team and an outstanding shop. Can’t praise them highly enough.

Made a £229.99 preorder in February just for it to be cancelled today in April due to “poor allocations”, so I’ve been out of pocket for no reason for nearly two months- they should switch either to a deposit based preorder system or only charge when they actually have stock

I’ve had nothing but excellent experiences at Loaded Dice in Barry. The team is always incredibly friendly, welcoming, and genuinely passionate about what they do. Their customer service goes above and beyond every time — whether you’re browsing, looking for something specific/ niche, asking questions, or looking for recommendations, they make you feel valued and looked after.

It’s great to have a local shop with such a positive atmosphere and knowledgeable staff. Highly recommended!!

Found this site on line and couldn’t believe it was just down the road. What a hidden gem. A real decent gaming and hobbyist shop. Staff are so helpful and knowledgeable. I’m down there most weekends if the wife allows it. Can’t recommend it enough.

Another store that will happily take your money for pre orders months in advance then cancel you come release week.

UPDATE: Emailed me to “persuade” me to change my review, alluding to other orders I have placed that are now also delayed (which I wouldn’t have known about should I have not have left this review). I guess since I didn’t change my review promptly enough they’ve seen fit to cancel said delayed orders.

Probably the most unprofessional store I’ve had the misfortune to have dealt with.

Pre-ordered the metal gear solid limited figure, customer service was amazing! They kept me updated and assured me that it was definitely on the way, Graham provided me with an accurate ETA even a screenshot of the delivery schedule to further assure me that it was on the way. I’m so happy with the quality of the product as well, so well packaged and kept in good condition. Ordering from here was a great experience and I will be back again soon ^_^ thank you all! Xx

The whole team have been fantastic since my first online order over 3 years ago and I decided to make an in person visit before Christmas to take advantage of the deal they had on. Loaded dice are a close team that are specialists in the field, I can’t speak highly enough of Graham and his staff and i’m looking forward to ordering more in the future.

Will hold onto your money for months and cancel your orders 48 hours before release, don’t trust this company or the way they handle preorders.

Been shopping at loaded dice since the day they opened I now pop in atleast once or twice a week as there prices on tcg are great and they always 100% of the time have what I need for warhammer, the service is always spot on and always leave happy, due to most tcg’s being a nightmare to get its awesome that the owner graham looks out for his local customers with the local collector programme always atleast get something on release day rather than having to queue outside shops early hours. I would also like to add that the chambers reward system is a great addition as it’s giving back to the customers and being a long time customer it has other benefits like a chance to pre order items early etc, I would 100% recommend loaded dice to anyone

I've been shopping in-store with Loaded Dice for ages, and always end up talking about games with the staff, and buying more than I went in for! Used the website for a recent purchase - it arrived quickly and was well packaged. Keep up the good work!

I uses these guys for all my GW urges, service is effortless and pleasent even when I felt a pre-order was taking some time and I cancelled they responded immediately with no issues. Cant recommend them enough

Had a fantastic experience with Graham from Loaded Dice.

I had ordered around 20 deck boxes (very good prices), but half of the deck boxes had a slightly different design to what was shown on the website as the supplier had updated to the new deck box designs with a new logo. This is not really the fault of Loaded Dice.

Graham was happy to try and find any of the older style deck boxes still in stock but unfortunately there were none left, so instead gave me store credit instead.

Overall, the company has shown great compassion and customer service and I can't recommend these guys enough.
