I could not get anyone in West Sussex to repair a gas fire. One said in a week, others ignored me. Local Gas came same day. A very professional, courteous person who did a good job. Not the cheapest, but you pay for the convenience.
I had a gas safety inspection booked. The engineer arrived without proper tools and didn’t complete the job. They still sent a full invoice! I regret trusting this business.
Boiler repair lasted only a few days before breaking again. Called them back and they refused to fix it unless I paid another call-out charge. This company is a scam—stay away!
We had LocalGas install a combi boiler back in 2018 and had them out for a service every year since.
The engineer was knowledgeable and did the work on time and to high standards. He was very approachable and communicative. He went through the options for the boiler placement and got on with the work.
The service booking was easy and always paid exactly what I was quoted.
The engineer arrived on time and did the service promptly.
Not sure why the negative reviews as I've always found them pleasant to deal with and very competent.

Absolutely horrible experience.
They operate only in London but the website allows to book. A few hours before the booking (4 days after making the booking) they call that they can not attend outside of London and still charge me for it because it is apparently my fault.
Completely unacceptable
I contacted the company regarding a bird stuck behind my Gas Fire. I was quoted a price that was about £109, whilst the fire was dismantled as it would be for a £99 service, I asked if he could carry out a service for me. So that was done for me, unbelievably for a. Extra £99 on top of the £109 bird removal. When I asked them for a certificate to prove the service was done for my Landlord's Satisfaction, I was then charged a further £30 which took several weeks to arrive by email.
Even though I agreed to them doing it, it doesn't make it morally right to charge double for basically the same thing (eg. Removal of the appliance in order to service it, which would then have freed the bird anyway. I wouldn't have minded paying the little extra for asking them to carry out the service, but really not twice the amount.
As far as the Gas Certificate is concerned, this type of thing should be included. How they ca. Justify £30 for a non-physical digital copy of something is absurd.
In addition to all of this, they arrived 2 days late to do the job. Luckily I was able to sustain the bird.
The gentleman was effective at his job and knew what he was doing, which is obviously important.
However if you excpect a fair and customer friendly service. Don't bother with this outfit. When I broached the subject with the double payment, I basically got a "tough s***t" in not so many words from them.
I wouldn't touch them, again, if they paid me.

Failed to identify that we had the right electrical point for the cooker. Just installed the gas, but didn't even set the cooker level on the ground. Had to call an electrician to finish the job. Wouldn't refund me for the part of the installation left undone. Very rude and unpleasant.
After a recent poor experience with a gas company this was by far a better experience. Always answered his phone, turned up on time, was upfront about costs, knowledgable and went out of his way to complete our job the same day. Very happy.

I booked a duel fuel cooker connection based on price online. When the engineer got here it was and extra 89 for this an extra 89 for that. 89 to inspect the fuse. Bloke was arrogant, wouldn't let me finish my sentence. I told them to leave. Now having to pay 65 cancellation fee. Rip off merchants. Steer clear.

This service provider was poor in all aspects of customer service. Deceptive about costs and charges. Refused to listen or effectively respond to a complaint. He was loud overbearing and intimidating.
It used his services based on quotation upon questions asked, once on site the technical terminology doubled price. He also does not show this correct trust pilot

We booked a clearly defined “Appliance Disconnection” online at £59.99 only to have an engineer call to try to get £79.99 out of us by stating this service wasn’t available and we needed a leak-test etc. etc.
Rather than understanding and completing the service as contracted by payment, especially considering he found we were correct (after following where we’d booked online) he offered to cancel.
Terrible customer service and False advertising. We will ensure nobody we know uses this site.

I had a problem with my gas boiler as the pressure kept dropping so local gas came out on time and changed the valve which fixed the issue. He was very polite during his time here and carried out the job very quickly which was wonderful.

Used this company to install new gas cooker. They called within 30 mins of booking to confirm & were there first thing next morning. Polite, efficient & reliable service. Would definately recommend to others.
