I engaged LocalSearch (business.localsearch.com.au) in September 2024 to market my cleaning business. Their manager assured me our website would rank on Google’s first page, list our services prominently, and provide Google review cards. I have sent them several emails to ask for update and review cards but there is no response for serveral months, I paid $111 for monthly but all I got were total 3 leads for past six months. I have sent them request to cancel but also just delaying the preocess and then said they won't cancel for the service. They cost me not only the money but also trust and a lot of time. Will not engage with them anymore.

Do not use these people. I am a tradie struggling to get work after relocating. Localsearch only want your money and have no interest whatsoever in providing you a service. They have no interest in just doing the right thing by you. I was sucked in by Localsearch and when as a result of their ineptitude I had no internet presence or work at all they refused to end the contract of which to date they had not really supplied a thing. So in other words they believed that the contract should be honoured with no leeway for circumstances, BUT only on their side. So i should continue to pay money and they should continue to do nothing. I has my position in a search of local tradies drop from 7th to 29 while these inept people ruined my existence. When I stopped them having control of my google business within 6 months I have it back where it was again and am now finally getting some work. I paid thousands of dollars for a website which is still not built after nearly 2 years. On top of this they have no real internet presence anymore. Bad people!!!

Carol Spencer was warm, informed, competent and Australian. I instantly felt comfortable with her explanations of an area I was not familiar with. A great team member for Local Search.

Tayla is the best rep. She is patient and very up to date on her product she was telling me about. She has been my rep for many years and I trust her to help me as I am not very computer literate. I look forward to venturing into digital with her help.

Local Search have not listened to what we wanted in our marketing campaign, they have been difficult to communicate with and now we are locked into a contract that is not achieving anything for us. When we complain they just say everything was clearly explained to us when we signed but it wasn't.
There are no measurable results from their ads campaign. They just send us an email showing supposed interactions but after 3 months of this we have no more enquiries than we did prior to its launch. To be spending money like this we would expect some sort of uptick in enquiries.
We feel let down and not listened to.
We would have been better off dealing with a local company that specialises in social media marketing

Very disappointed with local search had them build my website.

Have been going back and forward to build my website the way I want for the last 7 month. They cannot even remove stock images or put the right pictures where they need to go, this is just the start of the issues.

Would not recommend these guys to anyone iv spent 7k so far for an unfinished website so annoyed

Timley, knowledgeable & friendly

Local search doesn't listen to clients or take into account any specific situations. Continued to charge me for advertising even though the business sold and the entity was dissolved. Gave written notice. Local search kept charging regardless. Would never use this company again. No customer service. Just a set and forget system with no follow through or follow up.

The company is great for our locals.

If you are considering signing up with Local search save yourself time and money and go with an actual local company.
No respect for small business. You will be just a number.
For a digital marketing company that encourages you to get costumers to do a google review, but you can't give them a google review....... Ill leave that one with you.

Justin was great to deal with and explained everything that I asked, he also was very easy to deal with.

Do not trust local search! They will tell you anything to sell you one of their packages and promise great results....which will not happen! In addition, they have lied to me about their local businesses just to get me across which is illegal.
There was no mention of it being a 12 months contract, in fact I mentioned I'm happy to see how things go for a few months as I would never waste money on something with literally 0 return! They don't show you any contracts, only a white screen to sign on tablet which I assumed was simply me signing that they can debit the amount. No mention that I can't cancel it, of course. Worst scammers ever! Do not trust! I learned a good lesson here. Never ever again!

My big mistake was trusting Localsearch with my online business profile.
Prior to engaging Localsearch in May 2024, I had two strong Google Profiles for my Wedding Celebrant practice in Wagga Wagga NSW and constantly ranked in the top 10 on Google. Now my profile is just about invisible and the Google algorythm dismisses all my profile updates as being invalid under their content policy; and this seems to be due to Localsearch's "improvements" to my profile.
Since engaging Localsearch the rate of wedding enquiry to my business from sources other than word of mouth has dropped to zero.
