It's the easiest and the shortest way to the real meet up and great nights. Locanto could have worked great if they hadn't been so greedy and if they had established some quality control. But they are money hungry rogues. It looks like they have never banned any scammer, so global con artists love this place- it's like a paradise for them. The support team doesn't give a damn.

The app are scamming people they deactivate my account after I paid for the monthly subscription I paid for 3 months they deactivate my account in less than a week without refund ,their customer service are easy to provide support when I’m about to pay but when they deactivate my account I don’t get any response from them , they are scamming people with their paid services

I honestly must say you people are absolutely ridiculous. How do you let people post for free for years & then all of a sudden day I need to upgrade to vip to post again. Your cheapest it option is 80$ a month! I don't think so!!!! Scam!!! Never will use you again!!!!

Total scam site.. people try to get you to buy gift cards for goods and cleverly empty them with very little info given.. give them nothing until you have the goods in you hand and are happy, and gift cards is always scam unless u buying for a friend or family.

Absolutely bait and switch. I went through all the trouble of sending a deposit through GCash when I was informed by the "Admin" that they required the total amount sent upfront!!! What a total scam.

If I could give no stars I would the escort service is full of scammers not one of them are genuine please don’t learn the hard like me and lost hundreds of pounds. This whole web site is a scam please don’t lose any money to these people worse than facebook etc

Locanto has deteriorated beyond any recognition because they stopped monitoring those ads. Since scammers have completely taken over I switched to AFFinders.com
It's really a much better alternative. No need to complicate things - you can find ladies who agree to meet and have a good time together without you having to pay them for it. What happens on Locanto is all these scammers come up with different ways to reap money out of naive suckers. They want a deposit and they run for the hills when they receive it. Initially it was a great idea but Locanto executed it extremely badly.

Another garbage Internet service that decides where your ad goes regardless of where you want to post it. They actually emailed me stating they moved my post to a more suitable category. That makes them a publishing company and they should have their 230 status revoked. They actually moved my personal ad to the gay section stating it was a more suitable category for my ad, in spite of the fact I was not seeking a same sex relationship. I deleted it and reposted it and again it was moved. Scratching my head on that one. Do we really need AI making our choices for us now? Well, I'll no longer be posting with this trash rag of a stalinist site.

Locanto is about as helpful as Craigslist. A cheap used guitar? Sure. I have been scambaiting personal ads on Locanto for about a year and to date out of 387 ads, 380 have been found to be scams.
290 were scams from India/Pakistan, 80 were scams from russia the others from the U.S. and other parts of Europe.
All of those scams asked for either gift cards or some sort of advance payment.
If you value your money at all, DO NOT SEND MONEY IN ADVANCE. If you're on Locanto for personal ads, report the ads. Reply directly to Locanto and complain. I am NOT against prostitution or woman being escorts. Whatever floats your boat. I AM against scams and the ruthless thieves who use personal ads to steal money from people.

No one really monitors or bans these ads which results in abundance of scammers. You can just take it easy and meet girls via AFFlirt.com
without spending a fortune (and without catching a disease). They have plenty of hot chicks that are real and willing to meet for real. What happens most often on Locanto is women just ghost you. They don't show up after you have paid a deposit. Don't bother trying to get a refund due to false advertising - Locanto support team will disregard your requests.

Classified dating: prostitutes from Thailand offer their services instead of paying for their ad. And the the ""real"" women never answer. And for each message you are charged US$ 2,-
If you want to see you "liked" you, again you are charged....but no results at all.

Has to be a scam site, contacted a nice girl paid a small deposit which she tried to double before she would confirm appointment. Some of the responses were so quick I am sure they were already saved. Gave me a residential address close to my home but add said another suburb 30 klm away. Last straw contacted at 5am on the day to change her contact number. Oh yes had a sick aunty that's why she was working like this and going to uni in Australia. Live and learn.

Locanto cheating money, i paid 3 Ads ($57.95 each), but they just post 1 ad , 2 ad left showed unpaid and not post to Top Ad
When i complained , waiting many day to answer, they said expired, no refund money

Guys looking at ads for women when they shouldn't be

I fancied a massage, so I decided I would try Locanto out as it seems to have independent escorts, but that's where the problem starts.
I decided on Edwina ( real name Doreen Mmula )
They have their contact number on the site so I txted her to see if she was free.
She was. In short, she took a £50 deposit, but when I got to her supposed road to get her house number, she then hit me with an additional £60 for accomodation expenses!
This is not normal practice & i was then sure this was a fraudulent person & the service was never going to happen.
I went home
I reported this fraud to Locanto but no reply from them. They are probably used to constant fraud claims, who knows?
I'm only warning people to stay away from this fraudulent site
