Unfortunately ordered before reading the reviews. 5 days delivery quoted....its now 10 days. I emails them 4 days ago and have only had an automatic response. I have given them until 21/9 and will them start the cancelling process, followed by legal action. If they communicate and delivery the order, I'll update my review. As promised...here's my update. I never received a reply to me email but I did receive my order on 24 Sept. Thank you Loft Stilts.

Like others have suggested, they don't appear to be scam but probably do have supply chain issues.

But it doesn't excuse the fact they're still taking orders and taking money but not delivering anything. And promising next-day delivery. They're also not answering the phone.

I'm waiting 2 weeks now with no information.

Steer clear. Go elsewhere.

Order on Monday evening. Got an instant email confirming my order, evening hot it attached to my shop app so I could monitor delivery.
Should of been next day. Nothing.tried calling, emailing using the online Web chat. I had one auto response from an email
That was it, phone doesn't even ring straight to voicemail. Onto the bank to try and get my money back. Clever site as most would order the loft package under £100 so you'll struggle to claim it back under section 75 .

Ordered from this company last week expectIng their “next day tracked delivery” … nothing arrived last week. It’s now coming towards the end of the second week and surprise surprise, still nothing. I need them this weekend!

I’ve tried calling, emailing and using their online chat, no response at all.

I’ve now emailed to cancel the order and am buying them from B&Q instead. Fingers crossed they see that email, looking at the other reviews I’m half expecting them to turn up next month and I’ll then have the joy of trying to send them back.

Wish I had read the other reviews first, could have saved myself a lot of trouble!

I ordered 96 loft stilts from here and expected next-day delivery, as promised. Ten days later, the order hasn't even been despatched. The phone line goes straight to voicemail, they don't respond to emails and their online chat goes unanswered.

If they haven't gone bust already, I really hope they do - this certainly isn't the way a legitimate company conducts itself.

Despite the demand for this product Loftstilts managed to supply my order and they are fantastic value for money

AVOID - NO CUSTOMER SERVICE OR ORGANISATION! Ordered 96x stilts for customers job, specifically used Loft Stilts as stated next day/fast delivery for quick customer job. No delivery after 4 days and no replies to emails, calls, web chat chasing when they would arrive. Calls go straight to answerphone and nobody responds, emails go unanswered, web chat states we' reply immediately' but the quickest response I got was 4 hours. I cancelled the order on day 5 via web chat which was agreed by them (even stated they'll arrange a refund), and procured an alternative which was readily available. Day 9 got a message to say my order had been dispatched, Day 10 products arrived. Now they want me to to return them at my cost for a refund and they will charge me £5 return fee!

Absolutely awful company to deal with. I 100% would not recommend anyone deal with them. When you have a problem they do not respond. Noone answers the phone. They do not accept returns.

Still waiting on dispatch, they don't respond, I wish I'd checked on here first, got a dispute open with PayPal now but have to wait 20 days annoyingly and then if that fails I'll have to try my bank.

Edit - They have now refunded my order but still didn't have any update on why it wasn't dispatched or replied within a good timeframe, the product might be fine but I'd rather not take the risk

Avoid, I don't think it is scam - just a crap business. Like others I ordered waiting for next day. Emailed and called with no reply and feared the worst when I found these reviews. I reported them to CC company to get a refund. I then got an email with a delivery date and tracking number. The next day I got this email -
"Hi!

I hope you're doing great!

We regret that we are unable to send the Loft Storage Stilts you ordered from us. The demand for this popular item has exceeded our expectations and our new stock that arrived last week has depleted. However, the supplier promises to deliver more of the loft storage stilts as soon as possible. Please advise us whether you want to cancel your order or have us hold your payment and ship the Stilts when it becomes available. We apologize for this inconvenience.

I too have been conned, ordered on 29th August 2022 took my £74.99 straight away with confirmation email saying will email again once dispatched. 1 week later unable to call, no response to emails and no goods received. Absolutely disgusting. I've now raised claim through credit card for refund.

no goods, no response to emails, telephone dead. emailed me weeks later to say couldn't fulfil order. No refund and then emailed after this to ask me to return the goods despite not receiving them.

I too wish I had seen these reviews before placing my order. My experience has been the same as so many others - placed my order on a legitimate-looking website, and the money taken immediately, with a link to an order confirmation texted.

And then...nothing.

No order has arrived, there's been no update on its progress, and all attempts to contact the company have been fruitless. They simply ignore all emails, calls (diverted) or messages. I have written to cancel the order and request a refund (no response yet, of course).

On the strength of others' experience too, it is plain that this company is either brazenly committing fraud, or is (at best) totally incompetent and does not care about its customers.

Given that this experience is not unique, I have now raised a dispute with my credit card company to recover the money, and reported 'Loft Stilts' to Trading Standards. I will probably add the Police to that list if no satisfactory response is received from the company this week.

UPDATE: The company emailed me this morning to inform me that, despite cancellation 5 days ago, the order was on its way, and that if I wanted to cancel the order I should refuse delivery and a refund would be "immediately processed". This seemed to be a pretty standard reply. In fairness, a van turned up at 2pm the same day and I duly sent them back.

So, the 'good news' is that the company do exist, they have a product that is occasionally sent out (I saw the boxes in the van), and a human being must at some point have read one of my emails and understood it. Whether they now follow through on the refund remains to be seen; this will be updated if and when it happens.

UPDATE #2: I have now been refunded the full amount, and in fairness, within a reasonable time (3 days) of being notified that it would happen, with a polite email too (I think the poor girl responding must get some practise at it).

In summary, if you are prepared to risk the delays and almost total lack of communication, you will probably get your product, and they will probably refund you if it goes wrong (as it seems to, quite often). It was such a shame, however, that the experience was turned into a trauma simply by the nonsense of promising 'next day delivery' compounded by a failure to respond in any reasonable way; had they promised less and responded better, they would probably have had the sale. As it stands, I still can't recommend dealing with the company - it's a very uncomfortable experience - but I suppose that if you are a gambler willing to take a chance for the minor savings, have a generally relaxed approach to life and loss (or simply enjoy the thrill of chasing your property/money), and you feel like rolling the dice, you'll (probably) be ok.

AVOID AVOID AVOID. Ordered in mid-July 2022 and was excited to receive - their website is well designed and helpful, making everything seem legit. However -you'll notice there are no reviews on their website, and no links to social media where they would no doubt get slammed. I received a normal-looking Shopify order confirmation email. BUT ALAS: the promised shipping confirmation email never eventuated. Despite contacting the company repeatedly over the course of 2-3 weeks, I received only one rather spammy-looking auto-reply. I have had no genuine responses from this company despite them charging my credit card. DO NOT ORDER from this company. I am pursuing a refund via my bank. I am dubious as to whether the positive reviews on this site are from genuine customers.

I bought a pack of 32 as a cheaper, and easier alternative to timber to build up my joists to extend my floored area after removal if an old water tank from the loft.

I got the tracking number as promised and the delivery came via DHL when expected.

The loft stilts are excellent. Easy to fit and the finished floor is solid. You wouldn't know any difference between them and timber.

I'm really pleased I found this product and recommend it.

The negative reviews here do not reflect my experience in August 2022.

After reading all the previous trustpilot reviews I didn't hold out much hope.

Ordered goods on Monday at 2pm and they arrived Friday 10am, so not quite 24 hour delivery as advertised, but they did arrived tracked via DHL.

My advice would be if you know exactly what you need and don't need to return or deal with any customer service then buy, else look elsewhere. (I did attempt to call, email and IM loftstilts but had no response)

Ordered at 6pm on the Sunday and had them with me by Tuesday. I bought 96 loft legs for £99 (on sale). Very happy with the purchase.

Goods did arrive on time so two I've added one star. However, the company ignores all communication. I wanted to potentially cancel an order as my joists were not a standard size and I didn't know if the stilts would fit as its not clear on the web site . Two emails, 3 voice mails and several attempts to use the 'chat' service that states that they will respond "Immediately" all failed to illicit a response.
I wont be bothering to use this company again if its not possible to get in contact in the event of an issue. As it happens the stilts didn't fit but I sold them to a friend who needed them as I couldn't get a refund.
