Beware of any implant services at this clinic.

I visited the clinic in October 2024 and was seen by Dr Mohini Gorsia for an emergency appointment. As it was outside her expertise, she asked Dr Balwant Vekaria for a consult, who is an implantologist with 38 years experience (supposedly).

I went in as I had an implant fitted a couple weeks before in Romania and my gum was slightly swollen so I thought I’d check it out. Once he looked at the X-ray he quickly said it's infected. Then he just inserted a tool straight through my gum and started tugging at the implant back. He then said it’s for sure infected and the implant is mobile and didn't fuse to the bone because of the infection so it needs to be taken out and kindly quoted me £350 for this.

I was apprehensive so I asked for the X-ray to be sent to me, sent it to my dentist alongside a video of my gum. They said it’s unlikely it’s an infection and it’s most likely a piece of the bone graft that migrated to the gum and that it’s not so uncommon. Because I was worried, I flew to Romania to have it checked and of course there wasn’t anything wrong with it, it was just bone graft as suspected which just eliminated itself.

Fast forward to now, I have had the crown fitted on the implant for 4 months and there’s been no complication whatsoever. I am really baffled that someone with so much experience could be so wrong, I want to give them the benefit of the doubt but I would absolutely stay away of this doctor and clinic. Had I listened to them, not only I would've lost thousands of pounds but I would've gone through many unnecessary procedures and cause further damage to my teeth.

You put so much care in everything you do, your gentleness, and attention to detail when you are cleaning my teeth as you know how sensitive my teeth and gum can be. I never know a hygienist can make me feel at ease and fall asleep when she was cleaning my teeth! Thank you! I am so greatful to all London City Smiles staff and practitioners. Thank you for giving me an amazing smile.

I had a great experience at this practice. I had a gap in my teeth fixed, and my teeth aligned.
The dentist i saw was Dr Jehan and I could not be happier. Technically he knew what he was doing and he did a great job but that is not the only reason I thought he was great. What made him great was his calm demeanour and ability to make me relax. Never thought I would enjoy a trip to the dentist but with this dentist I did!
I cannot recommend this practice, and in particular, Dr Jehan, enough!

Got an emergency appointment booking within 24 hours, good competent analysis and remedial work done. Very good great quality premises and location. Continues the good consistent service I’ve received from them for many years.

Irina helped me with staining and yellowing of my teeth. She did a great job of cleaning them up and teaching me how to look after them in between visits.

Excellent service, and very friendly.

Dra. Meera is very patient explaining everything the customer needs and doing the treatment she's 100% always saying for the patient to relax and make us relax and be confident on our treatment. I did implantes and I didn't have any pain, I'm very nervous on dentists but with Dr Meera was easy and I recommend to everyone and my children go there if needed. They are exceptional doing there jobs. Not to forget Alex that is very special person always worried with the patient even after open hours he's there for the patient. Very special place.

After my family dentist retired I spent years bouncing from dentist to dentist. In the end I avoided going unless it was an emergency. I lost a front crown & visited London City Smiles (they had good reviews). My dentist was Mohini. She was so kind & supportive (even though inwardly she was probably despairing of my smoking & neglect of my teeth!) She discussed my options honestly & we reached a decision to redo the crown. I thought I'd have to spend a couple of weeks with a gap BUT she made me a temporary tooth! It looks so real, amazing really. The dental nurse was lovely to, mopping me up from the drill. No-one likes the dentist but this visit was made as easy as possible.
