The community is a very cliquey environment. A handful of big egos rule the roost and if you’re not in with them then you’d better stay in your lane and bow to them or else. The main mod seems to be in support of the terrain and doesn’t do anything about it.

I’ve stopped using it and entirely using social media for comps n stuff.

Excellent website, have been using Loquax for many years now. Would highly recommend to anyone who wants to enter any competitions , friendly forums with helpful advice.

I have happily used Loquax for 13 years and on there several times a day - I love everything about the Loquax community and can't do without my daily fixes.
However ... early hours of Saturday morning, August 17th a 520 error code host issue appeared and since then I am unable to access the site.
I only have a basic phone and laptop and have no idea what to do to fix this ( also, I do not use any social media) This is the only way I have found to reach out for help, so I am hoping against hope that someone can advise me.
I really want to get back on board and would recommend Loquax to all competition lovers!

I have been visiting Loquax daily since it started which was many years ago. It's a great place to find and enter competitions and find out what sites are good and ones to avoid. The users are friendly and helpful.

Loquax is my go to competition site. In fact it’s the only site I use.
I can filter by closing soon dates and prize type so I don’t need to time waste by searching. I just wish I had more time to spend on this hobby.
I also comment in the chat and love some of the subject matter and banter!
Loquax is brilliantly run and I appreciate the time and effort that goes into running this site.
I recommend this to all my friends.

I’ve been a member of Loquax for 20 years. It’s the only place I go if I want to enter competitions. I’ve had many, many great wins from their listings over the years.
The site is easy to use, the tracker system is great and the admin staff are always available (when do they find time to sleep?). It’s a very friendly community too.

I have been a registered member of Loquax for many years. The site is easy to navigate; the competition listings are so comprehensive, that I only ever go to Loquax for my ‘comping’ needs.

Admin is always on hand to help or answer your queries, and the forum section of friendly compers is absolutely brilliant too!

Thank you Jason and everyone at Loquax for all you do. If it wasn’t for you lot, I would never have won so many lovely prizes over the years, or had so much fun.

Been knocking about on Loquax (on and off ... usually take time off after blitzing for a few months) since the mid 2000s, and while I don't win as much as some, I have had a good few prizes come my way over the years.

First thing to know about the site is that it is a community based competition aggregator (members post competition links as they find them) who also run the occasional onsite draw ... and when we get winners in the community it is people we have 'known' and chatted with for years, so we're always confident that they are real.

Joining has always been free, and the only charges that are ever made are by the companies who run the 'paid' competitions if you decide to enter those (If you stick to the free entry comps then there's nothing to pay ... ever)

The team is not only friendly, but also helpful and responsive ... rather than the usual mod/member feel you can get from certain sites, they really feel like part of the community.

Overall you won't see better competition sites without a paid subscription (and probably not many of those) and the community feel is among the best that I have come across ... and we stick by each other.

I’ve used other sites but this is the best! You can filter to what you want to win. AND win I have. Couple of grands worth of prizes in last year. Thanks to everyone at Loquax!

Been using for many years and won prizes many times. Great site for all thing competition.

Having been a member of Loquax for over 20 years, it is the only competitions site I use. It's free, really well laid out, easy to navigate and keep track of competitions entered. I have won some lovely things in the past thanks to Loquax. But as well as the competition entering, it is a lovely online community space for general chat and help on all kinds of things.

I have been using Loquax since 2001, it is hands down the best comping site out there. More comps than I could ever enter are listed for free.
Fantastic community, moderators are always on hand to help with any questions. Fun community section for a break from comping.
The best place for Competions!!

I have been a member of Loquax for many years. Its fun, comprehensive and a lovely community that supports each other and is genuinely pleased when a member wins. Its full of hints and tips and there are also forums where members can discuss non-related competition issues eg whats going on in the news, personal or health problems. I have been lucky enough to win many times and hope it carries on. Everything is free and all the competitions listed are real ones. I can not imagine going anywhere else.

I have been using Loquax for competitions for 18 years and for me it is simply the best comping site around. The site is well set out and user friendly and the members are always helpful and the site has a good community feel.

I have been a satisfied member of Loquax for nearly 20 years. While I began as a passive member using the site's free resources to enter numerous competitions, in my recent years I have become more active in the site's "community", finding and contributing new competitions to share with other members. The site's admin team are friendly and professional, overseeing a rich and varied resource. I would happily recommend this site to all serious compers, whether new or experienced.

Competitions on the site are outdated and navigating around site poor

Have been using loquax as a source of competitions since 2017 and I have never had any problems with them. I saw recently someone suggesting that they charge, which is completely untrue so I felt I should set the record straight. The community of people listing and entering competitions here is free and friendly. I use the site every day and thoroughly enjoy it.

This is a really reliable and friendly site. I've been using this for free for years. It's well laid out. It's easy to post competitions to share with others as well as easy to find and enter them. It's the first place I visit to enter competitions.
