Excellent. For beginning to end the advice, service and support were first rate.
Love Velo created a tour in Portugal for my partner and I for 9 days.

Before we went all questions were promptly answered and the information pack was outstanding.

The hire bikes were great and well fitted. On one day I damaged a tyre and the next morning before we started it was replaced. So efficient.

The accommodation varied from hotels to guest houses and all were great. With our luggage being dropped off each day it was so stress free and easy.

The route was superb. Using our Garmin and the routes provided on Ride With GPS navigation was incredibly easy. We saw the whole varied nature of the area - demanding climbs, great open roads, rivets, mountains, beaches and the local knowledge put us on roads with very little, often no, traffic. It was a great experience.

We will definitely be back. This was a great holiday and the company went above and beyond any expectation.

What a wonderful adventure!! Everything work d so smoothly! The app was great overall (there was a learning curve) and the route chosen was spectacular!! We went Pisa to Cinque Terre, riding about 50km a day. Beach to mountains to beach - you manage your own timing so you can linger on the journey or get to your destination quickly to have more time to explore. Our E-bikes were terrific and support was always there if we needed it, before and during the trip. We would absolutely go with Velo again!!

We have just returned from a modified version of the Highlights of Puglia tour (we spent an extra night in five of the locations, making it a 12 day holiday), and it exceeded all our expectations. The initial discussions with Amanda, and others at LoveVelo, answered all our pre-trip questions, and the transfer of responsibility to Ferula Viaggi (the Italian operators) went smoothly. The hotels were all really excellent, the luggage transfers worked a dream, and the bikes were as expected (no hire bikes are ever as good as your own bike!). We had one minor problem with the e-bike which was resolved over the phone with Ferula. The GPS app and routes worked perfectly. Some of the daily routes included lovely minor roads, or cycle paths, that we'd never have discovered without the GPS routes provided. Other parts of the routes included (unavoidably I suspect) rather boring, although empty of traffic, main-ish roads. Not a criticism, just something that others contemplating this tour need to be aware of. Overall? A totally wonderful holiday, and highly recommended. Thank You Love Velo.

I was originally going to arrange a self-organised trip to Mallorca with 16 of my friends as a 50th birthday jolly to do the 312 but over 3 days as we had a range of cycling abilities. After a recommendation from a friend who had used Love Velo before and one conversation with Oli (who clearly knew his stuff!), it became clear that they could do a lot of the heavy lifting for a similar price. I'm so glad I decided to use Love Velo - everything ran smoothly, the hotel was fantastic, bike hire made really easy and logistics worked really well. We are going again next year and will definitely use Love Velo. I'd strongly recommend for a smooth, stress-free experience, especially for larger groups. It really did allow me to enjoy the experience myself, knowing everything was sorted and I was in good hands.

I've just returned from my second cycling trip booked through Love Velo. Each and every staff member was thoroughly professional and helped put together a package that exceeded my wishes.
The transfer company, hotel and bike hire were all first class and I will not hesitate to use Love Velo when I book my next trip

I’m sorry to say I’m not able to offer the same positive review of Love Velo. My experience was disappointing, particularly given the expectations set at the time of booking.
I had explained that I was travelling alone and was specifically looking for a social experience with organised group rides in Mallorca. In reality, the experience felt far more disjointed and uncoordinated than I had anticipated.
On arrival, there was no representative to speak to, and the hotel did not appear to have any real awareness of Love Velo. As it was a bank holiday, I had expected clearer guidance on what to do on arrival and how the week would work.
My bike was not ready, as the third-party provider had already closed, which meant I lost a day of cycling despite having paid for it. The following day, I made efforts to join the planned rides, only to find that these were run by a separate local provider and that no Love Velo-specific rides were taking place at all that week infact they were not aware of Love Velo which surprised me. In practice, the rides were open public excursions via a web app Cycl
rather than a designed and coordinated group experience. This was the most disappointing aspect. I had chosen this trip primarily to meet other cyclists and ride socially, but there was no sense of the love Vello community, and I ended up riding alone using GPS routes.
To be fair, Love Velo’s customer service team did take my concerns seriously. They refunded the guided rides element and extended my bike hire to cover the lost first day, which I appreciated. However, this does not fully address what was, in reality, quite a lonely week and the absence of the core experience I had booked.
The accommodation, bike hire and gps routes themselves were in place, and Mallorca is a fantastic place to cycle. However, the overall experience lacked the level of coordination, clarity and social element that had been implied, and which was the main reason I chose this holiday.
I sense that Love Velo will take my experience on board and hopefully make changes, I hope they do,
If they do not I would think very carefully if you are looking for a structured, social or hosted riding experience, as this was not my experience. In hindsight, I may have been better arranging the trip independently.

My second trip with Love Velo and probably not the last. We had three days in Mallorca at a comfortable, mid-range hotel in Puerto de Pollensa that was perfect for cyclists, close to a shop that provided tip-top rental bikes and service. Transfers to and from the airport were slick, and the broad range of pre-programmed routes was really useful. All with super-helpful service and at a reasonable price.

Perfect holiday. Everything went to plan, from the airport transfer to the hotel check in. Hotel was an ideal location for cycling, wasn’t too busy either.
Rooms were a lot better than last as ours had been refurbished.
Will definitely book again with Lovevelo

I used Love Velo to organise a group cycle trip for 18 guys in their late 60's and 70's. We have been on trips for the last ~7 years some organised and some self arranged.
Love Velo were very helpful taking time to find the best trip for us. They managed a group booking that went from 15 to 16 to 17 and finally 18 riders over a few months.
They recommended the Alexander Bike Hotel in Gabbice Mare (Emilia Romagna) which was great. We were very well looked after and had no complaints about anything and really enjoyed having two guides with us each day. They handled our dinner reservations (for 18!) each night and arranged a great wine tasting and lunch on our way back from San Marino on the last day.
The combo of Love Velo and The Alexander Hotel made it a seamless and very low stress trip.
We will use Love Velo again!

Absolutely first class experience. Love Velo reps were very friendly, informative and welcoming. They were always on hand to ensure things went smoothly. The hotel was also faultless. Bike friendly to the extreme. Food options to suit every palate. Jet2 also were excellent. Friendly check-in staff and well versed with the transit of bike boxes etc. Could not fault any aspect of our stay. Dearly hope to be back next year !

Wonderful few days cycling in Mallorca organised by Love Velo. First time doing this sort of thing solo, so I was more than a bit nervous. I needn’t have worried. Everything from the Airport Transfers, to the Hotel, to the Bike Hire went very smoothly. Fantastic experience all round

LoveVelo was AMAZING. Rapha was great at communicating and planning our honeymoon to match our availability, finances, and wants - I feel like I barely did anything and *poof* we had a dream vacation. Elen was super fast at communication when my rental bike had a breakdown and immediately contacted all the taxi company and the bike rental shop, got me all set up, and kept me in the loop so I was never wondering what was next. And Ollie! Ollie was so helpful making sure we had a ride to our hotel after a flight got delayed and our plans were thrown all into the air. Quite a few things went wrong for us on our honeymoon that were entirely out of our control or LoveVelo's and it was all handled so efficiently that when I look back on the vacation I barely remember those things going wrong. Also, all the vendors they are partnered with were amazing for us - the bike rental shop, the shuttle service, and the hotel were filled with friendly and helpful staff, beautiful views, and fast service. I will 1000% use this company again for a future bike vacation.

Went with these guys last year with my wife, mum and Dad. It was the last time I saw my Dad before he passed away, so it was particularly special. This year we're going again, but just with my mum this time. Love Velo have been excellent - we were well served throughout the booking process and the holiday itself by them last year, and so it was a no-brainer to book again. We had an amazing holiday 👍🏼

A great experience for my first Canary trip. I was based in a half-board hotel, which gave peace of mind for re-fuelling, and gave a better experience. The hotel was a long walk from both Playa Maspalomas and Playa des Ingles, but not a problem once the bike was collected. I took on two of the suggested routes. the 3000ft climb to Soria, in magnificent rocky territory, with a cafe at the top, and the coastal route west. Beware, west of Tauro, the road is permanently closed, and cyclists would need to take a ferry from Puerto Rico to access the resort of Mogan. I was in this vicinity, around the tunnels above Punta Tiritana on a Sunday afternoon. the local petrol heads and motorcyclists were using it as a race track meet, taking crazy risks at high speed to please a large crowd of on-lookers with cameras shouting encouragement. I was in a bad place, but made a diversion down a steep bank to visit an isolated beach for a few hours for things to quieten down. My other route was a diversion from my planned itinery, a one-way traverse of the island to Agaete in the north west to a small guest house for the night, a strenuous 8,000 ft of climbing over 60 miles. About equal to the Pico de las Nieves route. Be aware the GC605 running west from Ayacata is also closed. The staff at Free Motion Cycles were very helpful with this information. My return route along the west coast to Mogan was cut short by a terrific headwind under the name of Storm Theresa, and I thankfully was able to secure a lift by car from my host in Agaete. The mountain passes were strewn with rocks, and awash with debris, plus high winds and torrential rain. no place for a cyclist. Many of the high routes have suffered damage and are closed from this event. This western route, whilst spectacular, also has permanent road closures, traffic diverted onto the highway and through tunnels. A rear light could be useful here.
