After leaving a 5 star review for sales I wouldnt even give a 1 star review for aftercare service.
Called on 13th May, promised a call back, emailed 15th May promised a response, emailed 16th May promised a response. Advised on Chausson owners group to leave a poor review as only way others could got a response, lot of online conversations about their poor aftercare service which im experiencing. Sold me a new motorhome, no mention that local Chausson dealerships under no obligation to carry out hab checks or warranty work, possibly because sales aren't aware, service certainly do based on a previous conversation. They now expect me to do a 600 mile round trip to get faults repaired. Probably why after 5 days I have had zero response.
Caravan been in workshop since 19th January having repairs done after an attempted thief. We haven’t a clue what’s going on and when we can pick the caravan up (originally told the work would be completed in 3 weeks )emails get ignored promised call backs and yet again no call back today basically avoiding all communications with us. I cannot express how disappointed I am of Lowdhams and the lack of customer service they just don’t seem to care.

The lady on the front desk was lovely and helpful.
The showroom is welcoming and has a wide range of stock.
Unfortunately we didn’t have the best sales and handover experience when we bought our new van. We would have liked communication to have been better. More clarity on the add ons and basic spec of our order, plus a few more checkins before and after the sale would have been nice- we felt we did a lot of leg work.

From the moment of sale to the collection, Lowdhams were very professional and kept us well informed. Adam was extremely helpful throughout the whole process and we felt confident buying from the Company who looked after us throughout. We picked our Motorhome up and stayed on the premises for a night to make sure everything was good, which it was. We were given a demonstration from another member of staff who was also excellent and took his time to explain everything so we understood the basics. There were staff available for the duration of our stay if we needed further support or we had any issues. We are so pleased with our van and wouldn't hesitate to buy from Lowdhams again. The price was competitive, the service was second to none and we can't fault them.

What an amazing experience and such a vast amount of vehicles to view.
We initially came to look at an Eriba and ended up with a Swift Conquerer.
Sandra was brilliant from beginning to end.
Not pushy at all and let us view the vehicles in our own time.
After several conversations she knew exactly which vehicle would be best for us but also allowed us time to go home, discuss the pros and cons for a few days and then going back to finalise our purchase.
Paul, upstairs in the parts department was also very helpful showing us various different awnings etc.
Not once did we feel pressured or rushed into buying anything.
There is a lovely cafe on site where we can use our Lowdhams discount card.
And the cherry on the cake was the fact that we could stay on their rally field for two nights from day of purchase for us to get used to everything as we are complete novices, so everything was very daunting for us, but knowing their are plenty of people on hand to ask for any help or advice was absolutely spot on.
I would 100% recommend this company for their vast knowledge and experience with the perfect aftercare which for us was second to none.

We bought our swift caravan from Lowdham Leisureworld around a year ago and could not recommend the team enough. I’m a single parent and was very apprehensive but Steve in sales was brilliant and allowed me to record all of his instructions in the handover. I have an EV and didn’t want to tow the caravan so the team (at a small fee) arranged for it to be delivered to Devon where we spend all our holidays. Thank you for a whole year of adventures with more to come!

Shocking Customer Service - Hope it improves 🤞
Purchased a caravan last year and was keen to return to Lowdham’s for annual service and ensure warranties were in place as new keeper.
• Service booked (agreed Monday drop-off Friday collection).
• Dropped off ok, rang Thursday and not a clue, all day phoning.
• Collected Wednesday after additional annual leave booked ☹
• The service found that the heating system had leaked due to the drainpipe not correctly exiting through the floor but instead pushed back up inside the caravan where it then failed with system fluid leaking unseen under the kitchen & oven units.
• Service recommendations: return vehicle after 3 months for a repeat dampness check. As the caravan has been fixed and all residue fluids cleaned away.
• Returned Home: To find the following:
• Motormover refused to engage on offside, I spent an hour in the rain on the floor.
• Finally parked, found the roof extract screen jammed. Removed and an hour fixing.
• The toilet bowl was disgusting, a black spotted mess.
• On the second time of locking of the caravan the main door lock failed – OMG.
(the caravan was in better condition before going for the service).
• The Damp: on investigation/removing kitchen panel to carryout damp meter testing under the oven area was swimming in fluid!! On removal of the door mat tray it was swimming. How on earth was this supposed to dry out over the next three months!! Another 4 hours cleaning up the missed fluid!!
• Lowdham’s have reported the damp issue to Swift as a result of trying to claim the drainpipe fixing via warranty, this was refused by Swift. But now my caravan is now officially recorded is damp!!
• Lowdham’s have totally missed my point: That at the time of pre purchase/service checks the incorrectly positioned heating system drainpipe should have been rectified.
• Customer Services: Rang and they were totally disinterested that as a 65-year-old I’d spent 6 hours struggling, ignored all the above issues stating bring back in 3 months and totally unconcerned the other items raised.
• I emailed next day requesting advice on whether the lock is covered by warrant and my displeasure of the overall experience.
• Over the following week Lowdham’s have not returned my calls, emails and basically avoiding all communications I write this review.
I cannot express how disappointed of Lowdham’s and the sheer lack of customer service.

My experience buying my Swift Carrera from the NEC was really easy ,Barry was really helpful and sorted everything for us and kept in touch ,Shirley was really lovely and made handover so easy , would definitely recommend Lowdhams to buy from a lovely experience ❤️

Really pleased with the whole experience from Lowdhams. From the initial sales process at the NEC, through to the handover and the 3 hour detailed introduction to our new motorhome. We especially appreciated being able to stay over night on site with everybody on hand to answer any questions. First class service and an excellent experience.

Picked up our new motorhome on 27th March. A couple of hiccups but the staff were on hand to rectify straight away. Added bonus of having the ‘rally field’ next door so that we could get set up and have a couple of nights to make sure everything was as it should be before heading home. A beautiful spot close to restaurants and a stones throw from the river. A special mention to Beanies and their amazing breakfast and sandwiches ! A big thank you to Chris for all the help he gave to us - looking forward to many adventures in ‘Swifty’ 😉
