Ordered a hanging light from this company. It arrived significantly later than expected, so I couldn’t use it as planned.

When it did arrive, an electrician advised it was not suitable for installation in a standard UK setting due to the wiring.

I followed the return instructions exactly and sent it back to the address provided (in China) at my own cost. The return then became stuck awaiting action from the recipient, and I was not refunded.

I had to raise a PayPal dispute, which was initially rejected but later overturned on manual review, and I eventually received a full refund.

Very time-consuming process — based on my experience, I would not purchase from this company again.

You dont need to be an expert to see its shoddy ,cheap and nasty and probably cause a house fire if i was silly enough to trust it , id say it would be more suitable as a booby trap incendiary bomb ,UNSAFE , CHEAP AND NASTY CRAP !

I purchased a vintage style triple glass pendant light. Arrived without earth - not up to UK electrical safety standards - purchased earth clips to bring up to code. Apart from this quality appeared to be OK and had arrived intact.

Three months after installation the lovely emerald green colour is now a dirty yellow/olive colour. Cheap spray coating which has faded in UV light and I guess the tiny amount of heat from my LED bulbs, not dye added to glass in manufacture. Bought to match another single pendant from a different seller installed at the same time and remains the lovely green colour I purchased.

Contacted Lunara Lights with photos of their product and the pendant from the other seller asking for refund for faulty goods. Told not within 30 days so can’t help, then read these reviews and realised I am just another notch on their substandard, don’t give a sh*t, belt. I originally purchased in April 2025 (completed works before installing) so before all these other reviews but this is clearly their MO.

They did offer me a discount off my next purchase though 🤣 Yeah, right…

I will save my breath and precious time and move on £150 lighter but wiser. UK front for cheap Chinese knock-offs. Not worth it. Don’t go there. Cannot be trusted.

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY. I ordered 3 lights in January. By 14th Feb I had no delivery and emailed them as was going away. They told me that I would get notified by Evri UK courier and be able to change my delivery date if the light was to come into the UK. I didnt and Evri just left the light on my doorstep. Luckily a neighbour got it. It was faulty - very cheap, cracked glass and missing specialist bolts. Now they want me to pay to send it back to china even though it is faulty. The second part of my order (other two lights) never arrived and its over 6 weeks. Despite me asking for a refund they avoid this subject entirely. Avoid this company at all costs. The lights are coming from China despite them calling themselves lunalights london

Initally good - we bought 2 lights and they were ok. Took ages to arrive, but they are ok. We ordered a third, it was TERRIBLE quality. Awful light, badly made, the same as some cheap Chinese lights I had to return previously, due to shorting out and blowing up. Unfortunately it took more than 30 days to get it installed, and when I complained about the quality of the light I only managed a 30% refund.

This company is Witteveen Commerce LLP - they are a drop shipping company who hold no stock. They just order stuff in from abroad and get it shipped directly to you - which is why it takes ages to get anything from them. My stuff all came from China (depsite some of it being listed a "Scandinavian") - they are just a middle man taking the profit. Its not worth risking setting your house on fire with a poor quality light.

Also - their website shows up on my virus checker as containing an online shopping scam. Beware. Do Not use.

Go direct to a trusted supplier instead.

I ordered a chandelier at the end of last year, and what arrived looked nothing like the photos — it was essentially a cheap imitation. I regret not checking the reviews beforehand. The website listed a Suffolk address, which made it seem trustworthy, but it turns out the operation is actually based in China and the whole thing feels like a scam.

Their site promises “100% customer satisfaction” and states that return postage is covered if an item is faulty or not as described. They even admitted that the product I received was both misrepresented and partially faulty. Yet after around ten emails back and forth, this was their final response:

“We genuinely cannot provide a prepaid return label. This isn't a matter of unwillingness, it's an operational limitation we have. We don't have the infrastructure to generate prepaid international return labels.”

In other words, they refuse to honour their own return policy.
Total scam — do not buy from them.

UPDATE - I managed to get an instant refund after reporting the scam to my bank.

The lights arrived without the mounting plate, emailed the company twice but have had no response.

I've just read every Trustpilot review on this company, 13 at the time of posting this review, and from my experience, I agree with all of them.

I paid £250 on two wall lights based on pictures from their website. Big mistake! When the lights eventually turned up... well, best place for them was the bin. Worst possible materials quality, and how these met UK safety regulations is beyond me... they're dangerous!

I immediately repackaged them and contacted LunaraLights. They refused a refund and would not accept return postage costs. They did offer a reduced price, but I didn't want these in my home at any price.

Return postage to China, even though they portray a London address, £31.30. 6 months later, and after many many very frustrating emails, the lights turned up back at my home address.

I'm now going to conduct a ceremonial burning of these lights in the hope this might improve my mood.

The lamps are dangerous. No high quality, but just cheap and dangerous lamps from China without a quality mark. They don't even have a warehouse. They just buy the lamps for a few dollars in China to sell it to you for 10x the amount or more.

Once you've ordered, you will end up running in circles talking to a bot trying to cancel the order or return the goods.

Witteveen commerce owns a dozen of sites like these trying to scam you out of your money. There’s a topic on Reddit. it’s in Dutch. They operate under multiple different names. You can find plenty of information about Witteveen Commerce on google with only red flags.

Also you can google: “In de stroom van Chinese webwinkelpakketjes glipt nepdesign er zo doorheen”. You’ll see a news article from NRC explaining their business model and how they scam you out of money. I can’t stress this enough: do not order here cause their products are not safe. Tons of their products have fire safety problems.

Delivery time is longer than promised. Took almost 2 months. Company based in china, not London.
Bad quality, of 3 hanging lights, and I want to mention I paid 250 pounds each, one was broken and they didn't accept a return/refund. Just got ignored with some automated Answers. Really disappointing service!

Huge scammers, pretending to be from london but a chinese company.

I purchased lamps from Lunara Lights and observed defects including misaligned shades, uneven parts, and scratched paint. On inspection, I could not find any CE or UKCA safety mark on the products. When I raised this, the retailer assured me the lamps were safe but refused to provide proof of certification. They also declined to cover return shipping costs despite the goods being faulty, and instead offered store credit, replacements, or partial refunds. I am now pursuing a chargeback through my payment provider to recover the money. I recommend avoiding purchases from this company.

SCAM WEBSITE BASED IN CHINA POSING AS LDN/ UK COMPANY

Absolutely awful from start to finish. Just a scam. It has been a month since order and still no light. Every time you complain you get a generic response . Would avoid as the website is just a front for some cheap and tacky Chinese shipping company

An utter disgrace from the outset. Do not believe the shipping time or that fragile items will take longer due to care. I waited a month for three lamps all of which arrived broken. I tried to contact the telephone support number and this number is not registered. This is simply a front end website handling items shipped by a 3rd party in Asia. Do not be fooled then professional website - just read the reviews

Terrible company don't go near them, I ordered lights over a month ago, nothing has turned up, tried the mobile number on their website and the line has been relocated. they were'nt cheap, avoid their lure of Black Friday offers its all bullshit. I am disappointed with Pinterest as well, this is the second time I have bought through Pinterest adverts. There is clearly no screening on authenticity of these companies. I use Pinterest all the time and think it is a great site, but greed is getting in the way of their reputation. I wont buy anything through Pinterest again either.

Don't believe their brand - they FLY your lights from China. What you think will be glass is actually plastic.

The lights we got have cheap, tacky USB cables. Not a proper plug and light like we expected.

If the value looks to good to be true, it probably is...
