Had a Luthmore Battery Boiler installed in August 2026, experience so far has been excellent, from initial discussions about the technology through to installation and ongoing support.

We were looking for an alternative to gas or conventional electric heating and hot water, and the Luthmore system appealed because of its innovative use of battery storage and the opportunity to take advantage of cheaper off-peak electricity tariffs.

The selection process was straightforward, with the Luthmore team happy to explain the technology and answer our questions. Installation was carried out by Heatility, who did a great job fitting and commissioning the system.

Since installation, we've been very pleased with the boiler, particularly its hot water performance and the ability to schedule charging around flexible tariff.

Quality of the ongoing support has also been good.

The Luthmore is a brilliant piece of kit which is far cheaper to operate than Gas.

Customer support excellent. I had a few initial issues with set up. The main issue being low flow rate of mains water into the house. The Customer support helped me diagnose the issue which was a house plumbing issue. Which I resolved . After that I had to reset the boiler to get it up and working but after that the system has worked perfectly. Highly recommended the Luthmore with a solar panel and solar battery installation. Very compact and loads of hot water. Heating seems ok radiators get nice and hot, but haven't used much because of weather.

We are based in Surrey. Luthmore partnered with Fuller Heating to replace an old back boiler in our older house which had convoluted legacy plumbing. Electrics done on a Tuesday, Wednesday start, plumbing all finished Friday! Luthmore engineers on site with Fuller on Friday, no one left until boiler commisioned, trouble shooting completed and everywhere spotless. Very happy customers. I am now just watching Octopus installing smart meter to take advantage of off peak tarrifs.
