I am writing to provide feedback regarding the service I received from Lyons Electrical, of 7 Deacon Trading Estate, Knight Road, Strood, Kent, ME2 2AU.
From the initial contact, the process was handled in a professional and efficient manner. Stevie, who arranged the booking, made everything clear and straightforward, ensuring the work was scheduled with ease.
On the day of the appointment, the two engineers George and Jake arrived promptly at the agreed time. They conducted themselves professionally throughout, introducing themselves at the outset and explaining the work to be carried out. The electrical work was completed efficiently, and they took the time to assist me with setting up my new car charger, providing clear and easy-to-understand instructions.
Overall, I was very satisfied with the level of service provided and would not hesitate to recommend Lyons Electrical for their professionalism, reliability, and customer-focused approach.

Jake and Jordan from Lyons Electrical came and fitted an Ohme car charger for us last week and we were really impressed by their professionalism, friendly approach and great communications. Jake explained exactly what was involved and we discussed the best routing for the power cable and placement for the unit. They then got on with the job and we are delighted with the results and how clean and tidy they were. Finally Jake demonstrated how the charger and the Ohme app worked and made sure we were completely happy before they left - great service!

Lyons Electrical recently installed our EV charger, and the whole experience was smooth and professional from start to finish. The lady who provided the quote was transparent, explained all the options clearly, and made the booking process very easy.

The engineers arrived on time with a clear heads-up before arrival. They assessed the space, recommended the best installation spot, and completed the work efficiently without any hassle. Once finished, they cleaned up thoroughly and left everything exactly as it was.

Lyons came to install my EV charger today. Jake called ahead to let me know that he was on his way. When he arrived, he went through the installation to check that I was happy with what he was going to do for us. Jake was friendly and knowledgeable, and we are very happy with the installation. He explained how the charger worked and explained the app.

Jake was excellent throughout, he left my house tidy and I wouldn't hesitate to use Lyons for other future electrical work.

Recently had an EV charger installed at my house by Jake and Harry. They were very polite, tidy, knowledgeable and quick. They installed the EV charger without any disruption and kept me up to date throughout. I would highly recommend using them.

My journey to having an EV charger began with a call from Richard, who had been referred to me by Hyundai after my purchase of a new electric Kona. Shortly afterwards, Richard and Jake came to inspect our set up and were so solution oriented! Getting to home charging was complicated, involving a new supply from UKPN, and a second smart meter installation from Octopus in our outbuilding. On the day, Jake and Dan turned up exactly on time and made short work of the installation, keeping me updated at every stage. Jake then walked me through the download of the charger app (we went for Andersen), made sure it was working and didn't leave until my car was charging on the drive!

Good price point and managed to get it installed quickly for me, no issues and I would recommend to anyone looking to install an EV charger.

Lyons were the contractors on a home EV charger I needed installing in a hurry when our new car arrived early. They were super helpful in fitting me into a cancellation slot when I explained the situation to them and sent two brilliant electricians to complete the job. They did a great job with the installation - really neat - and explained how the system worked and to call if I had any issues. Really professional outfit - thanks1

Had our Ohme Pro EV charger fitted by Ben & Lucas on 10th January 2025, these guys were were so professional and friendly. Got a call on the day to advise the time of arrival, it was a freezing cold day which did not affect them, I had to force them to have a hot drink, they just got on with the job in hand. They engaged with us throughout the day, they installed the charger and associated cables where we asked them to, discussed options with us, they did an excellent job, cleaned up after themselves and provided an absolute hassle free professional service. I would definitely have no hesitation in recommending Lyons Eleectrical - especially Ben and Lucas 👍

Electrical car charger installation.
We contacted several companies before choosing Lyons Electrical to fit our Electrical charger but many of the other companies made it extremely difficult and wanted to drill a lot of wholes and was not very practical solutions although some of them where big companies. When Richard came out he seems to know what to do and gave us the best advice. We hired him because of his knowledge.
On the day Ben & Jake came out to do the job. Despite their young age they did excellent job. Professional, innovative (very important for this kind of job, fitting electrical charger in old houses is not the easiest job therefore very important to have a team that can se different solutions). It’s obvious that they are being trained very well and love their job and want to do great work. They are polite and very clean. They did not put radio or music on something I really liked. Very professional.
Ben and Jake quietly did their job and kept us informed throughout the day of the steps they were doing and showed us step by step their work. We are going to have them back to do another job and highly recommend them to my family and friends.

We had our old EV charger replaced with the Hypervolt Pro 3 because we'd had solar panels installed and wanted a charger that could take advantage of them.

We booked our installation through Smart Home Charge who passed our details on to Lyons Electrical.

Communication before the installation date was great: we spoke on the phone and arranged a time for the installation, confirming this by text. On the day, they arrived on time ready to go.

The installation was tricky due to the removal of the previous charger and the complexity of our wiring in the consumer unit box, but Lyons Electrical made it look easy. The new charger is very tidily installed and is excellently-placed. The site was left clean and tidy. There was an issue with the CT clamp producing erroneous results, but that proved to be a Hypervolt issue, which that company resolved.

All in all, I'd thoroughly recommend Lyons Electrical as an excellent local electrical company. In fact, they are coming back to our property to fit an external socket and I'll be sure to choose them for any further electrical work our property may require.

We had a Tesla EV charger fitted by Lyons Electrical. Excellent communication, the engineer arrived when he said he would and completed the work very quickly and neatly. Set up the app and showed me how it works.

Professional, excellent work and friendly are just a few words to explain how great these guys were. We had a Ohme EV charger installed today by Lyons Electrical and we couldn't be happier. They even took in our parcels for us whilst working and gave great advice on the product. We will strongly recommend these to anyone who needs EV chargers installed.

Ben and Jake came to install my new EV charger. They were both fantastic through out the whole process, from providing details of times they would arrive to the actual install itself. There were a few trick elements to the install due to the way my house is, but they worked out the best way to complete the install and performed a great job. They cleaned up after all work was completed, I would defiantly recommend using this company for any works needed, thanks Ben and Jake.
