MacAreUs are superb at repairing Macs.
They are not only thorough, they are very cheap compared to other Mac repair services.
Gordon and the team are friendly, helpful and the absolute Mac experts in East sussex.

Reasonable prices; knowledgeable; no waiting, unlike the Apple Store where getting attention is an art form in itself.
The only area for improvement would be emailing me with costings for parts prior to proceeding with the repairs.
Overall very pleased with the service and the pleasant vibe.
Will be taking my other machine in for repairs.

Didn’t know where to take my Apple Mac in Brighton saw reviews from the Apple Store , weren’t great flicking through ! Saw MacAreUs visited the shop and met Gordon who was above and beyond with his experience and helpfulness and patience … Thank you for taking the time to help and fix my laptop and sourcing cables for my backup .. Gordon was extremely helpful in diagnosing the big issue I had with my MacBookAir. He is extremely knowledgeable and was very patient with me. I highly recommend MacsAreUs for all the your mac issues.

Recently I needed to have data copied onto an external hard drive because my computer is running out of disk space and I wanted to use my files on a new computer when I buy one. The team at MacsAreUs were extremely helpful and efficient in carrying out my wishes, and gave me very clear practical advice on how I could maximise the performance of my current Macbook Air while I was taking the steps to get a new one. This was very welcome, as it represented a high degree of customer care over and above the basic task being carried out. The price was good, coming in at about £90 which included the price of a used external drive, which saved me a stressful shopping trip. So very happy with the service, the work carried out, and the friendly, helpful approach of the team. The company has a great family feel and I felt very confident in their tech knowledge, A big Thanks!!

Robert and his father are both extremely helpful and knowledgable. I have used them twice to transfer data from one laptop to another satisfactorily and easily. Robert is always willing to help and offer help to me ( a mature Mac user!) with ongoing queries and/or problems. Their charges are fair and reasonable. I highly recommend them.

Robert replaced my laptop battery initially and then a few months later my fan. Both jobs were completed very efficiently and at a very affordable price and with great customer service all round. After parts had arrived, both jobs were done same day which meant I had minimal downtime which was important to me.

I should add that my laptop is an Asus so not an Apple product so please don't think of these guys as Apple only. They do work on other machines too and certainly in my case to great effect. Thank you for your help. I will certainly use you again.

These guys are superb - they are so knowledgeable about Mac products, and go above and beyond to provide advice and technical help. My MacBook Air had issues with the memory, and they freed up loads of storage space with some careful housekeeping, and gave me hints on how to keep it running healthily. When I bought a second hand MacBook for my son, they gave it a very thorough health check so that I could make the purchase in good faith. Very happy to support this fantastic, local family business.

Really attentive, reliable repair shop for macs! Have been there with my mac and also my iphone. They always work hard to figure out what's wrong and repair my equipment carefully and in good time. Prices are reasonable. Highly reecommended.

Friendly and knowledgeable, these guys go above and beyond.They have a wealth of knowledge of both hardware repair and recovering lost data.

Robert was super helpful and reassuring. He really knows his stuff and gave me great service in a very calm and unflappable way. I was feeling stressed with a Mac laptop issue and felt calm and relieved after speaking with Robert.

We used them to upgrade a client's 2017 iMac Hard drive to a Solid State Drive with extra memory.

They have done a great job at glueing the screen back on and installing the hardware.

They have a wealth of knowledge on both hardware and data recovery.

Took my ailing MacBook in fearing the worst but within minutes was smiling with relief. Although it took only a short time to diagnose - it had overheated - Robert spent a lot of time giving it a thorough check over whilst giving me lots of tips for getting the best out of it. He didn’t even charge me for his time, which overwhelmed me - not often that happens these days! I’ve always had great service from them in the past when they were Robert Harding and the new team are carrying on this great tradition.

MacsAreUs is a great local company to help with macs. They took their time to help explain to me the issue with my mac and advised me the best course of action. Not only did they give me honest advice they went out of their way to loan me a key board and mouse to over come my issue. Robert is a brilliant and I will certainly go back if I need to. Thanks
