We travelled as a family of four two adults and two children, aged 14 and 9. To be honest, we were a little worried that a full-day tour might be boring for our 9-year-old. We could not have been more wrong! He absolutely loved it.
Uliana has a wonderful ability to make a tour interesting for everyone, regardless of age. She combines fascinating stories and local knowledge with humour, riddles, questions and little quizzes for the children. Instead of simply following the adults around, our kids were genuinely involved in the experience — listening, answering questions, laughing and enjoying every part of the day.
The whole experience never felt like a formal or typical sightseeing tour. It felt more like spending a fantastic day in Madeira with someone who genuinely loves the island and knows how to make you fall in love with it too.
Madeira is already an extraordinarily beautiful and unforgettable island, but the person who shows it to you can make such a difference. For us, Uliana became another little gem of Madeira. ❤️
Our tour was conducted entirely in Russian, so we especially recommend Uliana to Russian-speaking travellers. She also speaks excellent English, making her a wonderful choice for English-speaking and international families as well.

Tuvimos un tour por la zona centro y norte de la isla. se notaba el amor pro el lugar y el conocimiento por que llegamos a lugares que estaban escondidos a plena vista. Una capilla preciosa en una pequeña colina que desde la carretera costaria bastante verla. y finalizamos en un restaurant con una vista a los acantilados y buena comida. muy recomendado. buena compañia y muchaa energia.

Such a lovely lady. This is more of a passion than a job for her, which makes the experience even better. She does the tours wholeheartedly and really wants to show the beauty of the island.
