Madeira Household Management (MHM), now part of LovelyStay and are called "MHM by LovelyStay", is a really bad property management company. The person in charge, Heliodoro, promises a lot but delivers very little. Under his control, things went missing, the cleaning was terrible, and guests were unhappy because the places were in such bad shape.

They got a lot of clients fast, but they never cared about quality. Trying to talk to Heliodoro was useless. He hardly ever answered, and when he did, it was just excuses. The only thing they’re good at is making sure they get paid on time. If you’re even a little late with money, they start making threats. Heliodoro starts off nice, but if you ever complain or give constructive criticism, he turns very unfriendly. Most people on Madeira know he’s not to be trusted, yet he still somehow got to keep his job even after the company changed owners.

They also have a trick where they hide bad reviews online. What’s worse, they fill their Google Business Page with fake reviews or reviews from short-term tenants, not from the real owners who actually use their services. This makes them look better than they are.

In short: avoid MHM, Heliodoro, and MHM by LovelyStay. They’re a big disappointment and will only give you trouble. Save your money and your peace of mind by staying away from these guys. They’re really just a nightmare to deal with.

Zunächst waren wir zuversichtlich und fanden den Inhaber von MHM korrekt und freundlich.

Als er aber unsere neue Ferienwohnung in Funchal selbst nach etlichen Wochen noch immer NUR auf seiner eigenen Website, dort sogar unzureichend, und nicht, wie vertraglich zugesagt, bei den so wichtigen Foren wie z.B. Booking oder airbnb präsentierte, reklamierten wir dies zunehmend. Auch weigerte er sich, noch erforderliche Fotos für die Präsentation zu machen.

Somit mussten wir schon nach nur 2 Monaten, in denen sich nur wenig Buchungen ergaben, eine andere SERIÖSE Firma suchen.

Trotz der geringen Auslastung erzeugte MHM aber einen erheblichen Verlust an nagelneuer Bettwäsche und Handtüchern. Außerdem kaufte er Ausstattungsgegenstände für die Wohnung, die längst vorhanden waren - stellte uns diese aber in Rechnung. Dass er viele Schreiben von uns ignorierte und nicht beantwortete, passt zum Verschwinden unserer Wäsche. Noch schlimmer ist, dass er sogar die einigen hundert Euro, die er uns laut seiner eigenen "Abrechnung" schuldet, trotz mehrfacher Aufforderung seit inzwischen mehr als 5 Monaten unterschlägt.

Wir erlitten ihn somit als BETRÜGER und sind über die äußerst MERKWÜRDIGEN (AUFFÄLLIG POSITIVEN, fast alle gleichzeitig erschienenen) Google-Bewertungen sehr "verwundert".

Everything was excellent. It was very kind, that we were able to change the holiday dates during covid pandemic so often. Thank you so much. We rented a beautiful house and had a pleasant stay in Madeira.

This company is renting different villas to Tourist who likes a nice vaccation on Madeira.
The villa we rented was very nice outside and with a nice view , and the garden is small but ok.
Inside the villa really needs a thorough renovation. So many thing not working as they should(specially with so expensive villa)
Electricity was dangerouse in the kitchen, the old refrigerator broke down
the microwawe, The kitchen exhaust falling down, Baseboards broken, water running out on the floor, no or nearly no hot water to the bathtube, no pressure , we were 3 guests and had to take bath on separate times. The handle to the bedroom and bathrooms was broken ,not working proberly..My wife couldent open the door fore 4 hours, I was looked in the bathroom fore 3 ours, and so on and so on.
No new furniture as promised in the kitchen room , no new wasdryer, and so on and so on.
No information about the security..code and how its working, the net was very week signal. The manager didt even come to say godbye after 2 month. Well we could go on...but
