Had a magical experience with Magandaexperience in Cataduanes. It was the perfect combination of surfing, yoga, seeing the beautiful nature of the island and girly vibes. I will always consider the people on that trip as my family 🩷 can recommend to anyone thinking about joining - especially solo travelers. I felt so natural and welcomed, and as you experience a part of the Philippines that has little to no tourist it feels so much more special.

I had a great experience with Maganda, I visited Catanduanes in October and I loved every part of it! I met amazing people and had a great time learning how to surf, the lessons were very helpful and you basically had your own instructor teaching you as there were so many teachers. The activities were fun and well organised, and I felt safe and supported through the whole experience!

My experience with Maganda Experience was amazing. I was really nervous about doing a trip like this on my own—especially since it was my first time diving—but from day one I felt completely welcomed. Silvia is an incredible organizer, you can tell she puts her heart into everything. The locations were absolutely beautiful, and sharing it all with a group of women from around the world made it even more special.
I came back with a full heart and a strong desire to keep doing things like this on my own. I’ll definitely join Maganda again!

I've never signed up for a trip like this, just all girls so I didn't know what to expect. It turned out to be one of the best trip of my life! Met so many amazing girls that is now my friends for life. This trip made me realise that we are much more capable than what we think, that we are much stronger than what we think. Everything was so well organized, the food was amazing and that they cater to vegetarians as well. You just need to bring your passport and your spirits and you'll have the bestest time! xx

I can’t believe it’s been a whole year since my trip with Maganda experience. It was the most amazing trip with the most incredible women who I’ll keep close to my heart forever! I would recommend it a thousand times over, so if you are thinking about going, just do it!!! You’ll have the best time ever and create memories you’ll cherish for life!

Being part of the very first Maganda Experience in March of 2024 was a phenomenal experience! Together with my sister, we got to be some of the only tourists on Catanduanes Island! The team was very welcoming and worked tirelessly to create a seamless experience. We made lifelong friends, enjoyed amazing food and loved every minute of it! I am sure that the experience has grown and is now even more powerful than it was when I was in Puraran.

I had the best experience ever! Truly so great. I made so many amazing friends who I will remember for a lifetime and can’t wait to see again in the future. I also fell in love with surfing, whether it was an early morning or mid afternoon session, it was always so beautiful and being out on the water with your friends cheering eachother on was the best feeling.
I’d recommend this trip to all my friends and anyone looking to experience a new culture and meet like-minded girls!! I will forever be chasing the feelings I felt In Catanduanes

Was amazing, met people from different countries and talk with each other about life, about a traveling alone like a woman and with the same interesting about travel and enjoying life was soo nice and peaceful. Was one of the best travel experiences that I have in my life, connecting with the nature and with incredible people with just good energy and a lot of happiness makes me connecting with myself too.

There’s so many advantages- the people, the place, surfing, an opportunity to feel truly connected to nature. Great girls from all around the place brought together by Silvia to a non-commercial island to spend some quality time and simply have fun. I had an amazing time at Maganda while traveling Asia solo last year and would recommend it to girls who wish to meet friends that last 💗

This was my first solo trip, and I was super nervous. It ended up being the best thing I’ve done in my life! I made so many friends, many who I still talk to. And I had the most wholesome experience ever. Felt super connected to myself again, and I will definitely join future groups!

I really don’t have words to describe this trip other than saying it was magical. The experience was more than I could have hoped for, two weeks in what felt like an untouched part of the world. Two weeks in bare feet, surfing, jungle trekking, swimming in waterfalls, doing yoga, sharing meals together and laughing with likeminded women from across the world. This experience reminded me of how big an impact the simple things in life can have on you - time in nature and with good people - and how profoundly happy it can make you 💛

Silvia was super nice and picked us up from the airport, she also prepared the hotel and gave us some small and cute welcoming gifts 🤭

The locations have been amazing, the trips and dives superior!!!! I love sharks and swimming with them was the best experience ever!

The girls that booked the trip with me have been the best! We had an amazing vibe and connection since the beginning at the airport. It was so fun a refreshing having the best time in paradise with literal strangers turning into friends??? 🥰 everyone was always super supportive and we looked out for eatchother. No one was forced to do something but we of course hyped everybody up if we wanted to overcome a fear or try something new 🤗

The scenery, nature and animals are out of the world there. Worth a visit 100000%. Not a single second I felt unsafe or weird travelling alone. I can totally recommend Magandaexperience and will definitely book another trip in the future! 🌅

I attended Maganda’s Maldives Surf Trip in March 2025 and can honestly say it was one of the best trips of my life! From the group of girls, our accomodation, activities and surf instructors every little detail had been well thought out and organised to make this trip special. I had the most incredible girls surf trip to the Maldives with Maganda Experience, and I’m still smiling! The surfing was unreal…perfect waves in crystal-clear water and every session felt like a dream. When we weren’t surfing, we were snorkeling vibrant reefs, swimming with sharks and dolphins, and soaking in the beauty of island life. One of the best parts was connecting with amazing women from all over the world. We had fun laughing, learning, and making memories together. It was more than just a trip; it was an experience I’ll never forget. Already dreaming about going back!

I found Maganda through Instagram, i had some additional questions and got an answer immediately!
For the trip itself it was an amazing experience. It was my first time diving and it was amazing that everything was taken care of. After 1 week i got my diving certificate advanced in open waters. I met so many nice girls that even after the trip we stayed in contact and visited eachother!
I would recommend to everyone to travel alone with a plan and you can just enjoy without thinking too much and meet amazing people from all over the world

During my Maganda Experience I always felt safe, taken care of and listened. Since I enrolled to the camp I knew all the details which made me secure with an idea of traveling from Europe alone. During the trip I met the most amazing girls with whom we shared our stories, sad and happy as well. Every day was planned carefully and at the same time we as group could make changes depending on our mood and energy. This experience changed the way I saw myself, others and how I wonderful journey of exploration it was.

Maganda Experience was honestly everything I needed. The vibe was super relaxed, the group felt like instant friends, and everything was really well organised without feeling too structured. You can tell the team genuinely care! They create such a safe and empowering space for women to enjoy, explore, and simply have an awesome time. I came back feeling inspired, recharged and really looking forward to repeating again!

Maganda experience is such a great opportunity to solo travel while feeling safe and getting out of your comfort zone. I had never ever surfed before and everything was planned and designed in such a smooth fun way that it was really easy to learn and practice. The place is stunning and so private, the food was delicious (dreaming on trying again the mango float 🤤 )and inclusive for vegetarians; the surf teachers were fun and patient. I cannot imagine a better wait to learn or practice surf than in Maganda. I had wanted to learn for so long but was scared to go to a surf camp and feel out of place for not surfing before. Also, since it is a girls experience I felt very supported and with no pressure during my experience. You will not only get beautiful pictures from Maganda but also beautiful memories to share with friends.
