It was such a pleasure to work with Katy. She has been absolutely wonderful in helping my 10-year-old son improve his handwriting.

Katy is incredibly warm, kind and caring, and she immediately made my son feel comfortable and encouraged. We had double lessons, but even after the very first class, my son came out so happy and told me that the time had flown by because he had enjoyed it so much!

I honestly couldn’t believe how much his handwriting improved in just a few weeks. The difference was incredible! More importantly, I could see how much more confident he became in himself and his writing.

We have tried so many things before, but we had never been able to make this much progress. Katy’s approach really made a difference, and I am so grateful for the confidence and skills she has helped him develop.

When our 7-year-old son changed schools in February, we discovered he was significantly behind, particularly with his handwriting, English writing and maths. His confidence had taken a knock, and we were worried about how he would catch up.

We started working with Katie Cohen at Magic Link, and the difference has been incredible. Not only has his handwriting improved beyond anything we imagined, but with that has come a huge boost in his confidence. He now loves sitting down to write stories, enjoys his schoolwork, and believes in his own abilities.

As a parent, Katie supported me just as much as she supported my son. She took the time to listen to my concerns, offered reassurance, and was incredibly supportive while I was making the difficult decision about which school would be best for him. Her advice, patience and genuine care meant so much to me during a very stressful time.

We recently received his end-of-year school report, and we couldn’t be prouder. It was absolutely glowing. He is now excelling in every subject, especially English writing and maths, and is working above the expected standard for a 7-year-old. He achieved Greater Depth Standard (GDS) in handwriting and in most of his subjects, which is something we never thought possible just a few months ago.

Our son attended an intensive Magic Link Handwriting course with Hania in Wimbledon. It was a small group of 3 pupils and everyday she took time to give us feedback and answer our questions. The books of the programme are well done with plenty of exercises to improve handwriting. After one week, our son's handwriting improved significantly and he is now continuing to practice on a daily basis to consolidate his new skills.

My 14 year old son's English teacher suggested he go on the Magic Link course as his hand writing was so poor. We got in contact with Sharonne as she is our 'local' teacher. From the first session, my son loved the lessons and looked forward to them. Sharonne was patient with him and created a really supportive atmosphere for the kids. Most importantly, his handwriting has improved beyond all recognition. The course really works! I would add that my older son did the course around 9 years ago and still has lovely hand writing. I highly recommend the course!

Katie tutored our 7 year old in hand writing for 6 months. Prior to this he was struggling at school as his slow and illegible writing was holding him back across all subjects. The school were giving him an iPad to help, but progress was slow.

6 months in and he has transformed. The iPad is largely gone, his confidence and speed with writing has improved and the class teacher is delighted, as are we.

Sophia is both an expert in the magiclink, and a brilliant teacher. My son looked forward to his lesson every week and was diligent completing tasks as set by Sophia. He has made huge improvements and I am very grateful and impressed with the changes he has made. Thank you Sophia, you are a very gifted teacher.

Judith was a great help with my daughter’s handwriting. Her lessons were enjoyable and engaging and progress was defined and swift. The handwriting continues to be clear. We were very happy with Judith who was lovely to deal with.

Hania gave our son (age 8) such a boost with his handwriting. The results were excellent and it's made a big difference to his overall learning. He really enjoyed the lessons and the positive, supportive environment Hania created. Highly recommended!

Rash helped support my son with the magic link handwriting programme. We did the intensive course over the Easter holidays, in a few days we could already see the incredible improvements in his handwriting. I can’t recommend Miss Rash Thiruudaian highly enough. She has made an incredible difference to my daughter’s learning, particularly with her handwriting, which has improved immensely in a relatively short time.

What really stands out is her patience, encouragement, and ability to build confidence—my daughter now takes real pride in her work and enjoys writing in a way she never did before. Jess is the most kind and patient tutor. When our 14 year old started the course he wasn’t able to read his own handwriting. However encouraged by Jess, he happily did his 10 minutes of homework every evening between Classes as the progress was tenable. He has finished the course with a real sense of achievement and beautiful handwriting. It was well worth the effort. Thank you Jess.

Yudit Menczer is an excellent handwriting teacher; she is kind and patient and makes sure she gets the best out of learners. My boys, aged 6 and 9, have made incredible progress with her.

Before my son even started his sessions Estelle was proactive and helpful in getting everything set up, and super flexible with times. The sessions themselves were delivered with warmth and patience which allowed my son to really thrive. The impact of the sessions has been so impressive, and not only can my son now write clearly, but his confidence has soared. I will not hesitate to return for booster sessions in the future.
