Tanyia was brilliant in relaying my purchase rational to the Vendor. Both Tanyia and Cathy were diligent and very helpful in fixing a glitch from my bank to enable my truck driver to pick up an excavator out of Newcastle with little delay. Their people were great and again I want to highlight Tanyia because I would have walked away from this purchased had she not reached out to me.

From the reply to email to the pick up of items it was easy and staff member at location was very helpful and friendly

This is the most dishonest platform around. Discriptions are worthless, they actively support misrepresentation and when ligit arbitrations are brought they will find a way to kick them. Like pricing the job at their wholesale made up number to not hit the threshold even though they are not a repair facilty and they will not do the work themselves.

I strongly advise against buying a car from Manheim Auctions.
In my experience, the auction lacks transparency and accountability. I purchased a vehicle just two weeks ago, and it has already broken down completely. The engine has failed, and the car is now unusable.

When I tried to contact them to report the issue, they refused to properly address my complaint or offer any support. This has left me with a significant financial loss and no resolution.
I trusted this auction, believing it to be credible, and that was my mistake. I don’t want others to go through the same experience.
If you’re considering buying a car through an auction, please be very cautious. Make sure you fully understand the risks, inspect thoroughly where possible, and don’t rely solely on the information provided.
Learn from my situation—don’t risk losing your hard-earned money.

All the photos on the auction make the car look brand new, once I buy the car it's got damage that wasn't shown on the photos

The take 2 times the money and don`t pay it back!
They take your money from your credit card and send you another invoice to pay. If you pay then with paypal, they take it 2 times, and they steel it !
They ley to Paypal and say transaction is ok and you can not even claim from Paypal back. Be careful of these thiefs ! Only way is to go to a lawyer. And cost a lot!

Manheim's national account manager – assessors Patrick was extremely unhelpful, inattentive and unfriendly. He did not fully understand my correspondence before responding, gave incorrect responses and, when I tried to clarify the information with him over the phone, his tone became increasingly rude, condescending and even threatening before terminating the phone call without a valid reason, warning or second chance. I believe Patrick's rude, condescending and threatening behaviour violated company policy by terminating the phone call without a valid reason. I also believe his rude, condescending and threatening behaviour is the reason why Manheim is unable to source more stock to sell. This has impacted on stock numbers and ultimately revenue figures. As it stands I no longer want to deal with Manheim because the company employs rude, condescending and threatening people like Patrick. Customers should not have to tolerate rude customer service at Manheim's Queensland (and interstate) office locations.

They don’t say much about the car in auctions but do let you see the car I bought a car it had a clicking noise which was a pulley so js make sure u check the car before u buy it. Also the excess fee is a lot around 15-20% so js be weary of that aswell.. I was lucky to just get a pulley problem but others have worse

I use the site daily in my business and it is always a pleasure with it’s simplicity and ease of use.

The car description says engine light on and airbag light on after I paid the full amount and went to pick up the car I found the transmission issue doesn’t go to reverse

Rude selling scraps. Misleading advertising and information. Not giving refunds after showing proofs. And no contacts on call only reply on emails and now they stop answering. I lost my money

Manheim has become one of those companies that hides behind its monopoly. I think a review from the ACCC would be in order. They use offsite yards across the country. One particular yard in Central Queensland has a habit of removing parts, losing keys and damaging vehicles. When you approach Manheim about it they will do absolutely nothing. They have their name on the cars, take your money but take no responsibility. Even with "as is" or salvage sales there are still guidelines that still need to be followed. Manheim has failed to follow these guidelines on numerous occasions. Be very aware when purchasing, i have taken my business elsewhere.

This company is a bunch if bullshit. They'll make sure you pay top dollar fees for deredistered insurance salvages and have the nerve to hide a reserve price if they think the price is too low. That way they'll ensure to screw the customer out of money as much as possible. More so than often, their admin fees a bunch of bollocks as I can't seem to fathom what they charge you for. They do no mechanical inspections and can't be asked to take reliable photos.

Web site wont let user sort items in watch list in order they are to be auctioned ie - most recent first, user has to keep scrolling thru.

Web site wont allow user to select a location and then bring up every thing to be auctioned at that location irrespective of classification, user has to keep searching different classifications.

Auction site takes some getting used to. ie.:When zooming in, then to next arrow, subsequent images is also zoomed in. Reset only does the one image. Auction staff have always been helpful and in most cases go above and beyond to assist the customer. Holding fees are a negative as I am often interstate and cannot always make it to yard in the gazetted time.

I find this easy to use and great and easy to deal with

Bought a motorbike from Manheim, my driver picked up the bike but it had no key, BMW GS 1200, The key was in the photo's but Manheim could not find the key, after 3 months of messing around and Manheim not answering / avoiding the issue, I had a key sent to me via a BMW dealer from Germany, about a month later Manheim contacted me, found the key and posted it to me, too little too late

If you are a dealer be careful. There is a reason the cars are at this awful example of an auction house. Most of their employees are incompetent and have no clue what they are doing. Buyer beware.

First time at handing a car back to finance company , Alex called me to around time 8am and turned up on time very helpful and professional guy , went through everything with me feel he’s a credit to the company .
