Sam Made Our Copenhagen Wedding Effortless and Memorable
Planning Phase
When my fiancée and I decided to get married abroad, we wanted the process to be simple and stress-free. After a lot of research, we chose Get Married Abroad Simply and were connected with Sam. From the very beginning, the planning process was clear. Sam sent us a checklist of the documents we needed, explained the Danish requirements in simple clear terms, and gave us realistic timelines. What could have been weeks or months of confusion was reduced to a few emails and uploads.
For context: Denmark has straightforward and efficient rules for marriage, but the paperwork and the application needs to be prepared properly. Sam made sure every detail was in order before we even booked flights. This saved us from the stress of showing up with incomplete documents or discovering surprises at the last minute.
Communication Experience :
What stood out most to us was communication. Sam was responsive, very kind, professional, and always a step ahead. If we had a question, whether about apostilles, translations, or what to expect on the day, she replied quickly with concrete answers.
For example, we were worried about whether one of our documents would be accepted because of a small formatting issue. Sam reviewed it herself, reassured us, and even sent a note confirming how the Copenhagen registry typically handled similar cases. That single message took a lot of weight off our shoulders.
Wedding Day at Copenhagen:
On the day of our wedding, everything played out exactly as promised. We arrived at Copenhagen City Hall (a beautiful, historic building right in the heart of the city) and were greeted warmly. Because Sam had handled all the pre-approval steps, the entire check-in process took less than five minutes.
The ceremony the next day was short, personal, and meaningful. The registrar spoke excellent English, and there were no language barriers. Afterward, we were given time for photos, which made for an unforgettable backdrop. What we had pictured as potentially stressful turned out to be one of the calmest, most memorable experiences of our lives…
Value for Money
Looking back, the service was worth every cent. We could have tried navigating the application system ourselves, but the risk of delays wasn’t something we wanted hanging over us. With Get Married Abroad Simply there was no guesswork. Sam provided clarity, efficiency, and peace of mind, things that are priceless when you’re planning a wedding abroad.
Overall Recommendation
If you’re considering getting married abroad, especially in Copenhagen, I can’t recommend Get Married Abroad Simply enough. Sam took what could have been a bureaucratic maze and turned it into a smooth, straightforward journey. The combination of her responsiveness, knowledge of Danish requirements, and genuine care for the couples she helps made the difference.

They were really helpful and did their best. They made the process very fast. Sometimes there were some misinderstaning at the begining of the procedure but we could solve it quickly.
They offered a really nice photographer too.
We didn't need more as we wanted a very simple ceremony.

Kind staff and fantastic service
The entire staff at Marry Abroad Simply are so lovely! They helped us through the entire process. They were able to get us a registrar even when everything was fully booked with city the hall. They answered all of our questions promptly and helped us to ensure all of our documents and paperwork was ready for the big day. They helped us find a photographer and a hair and make up artist. We could not recommend them enough. Super worth it!!
