I've been working with Mars for years, and I can say that I had no issues with them throughout these years.
Payments are made on time, good communication with PMs, managing your tasks and invoices is easy on their web site.
I guess these are the most important points for working with an agency.

I have been working with the company for five years, and throughout that time, I have consistently felt supported and valued as a linguist. The company demonstrates genuine care for its team, and the project managers are always respectful, reliable, and easy to work with. Payments are made on time, which is greatly appreciated. However, the once-a-month payment cycle and the difficulty in requesting payments can sometimes be challenging. Overall, it has been a very positive and rewarding experience.

Have worked with them for few projects on documents translation, the translation are accurate as checked by locals, and turnover time is fast.

I can’t recommend this brand enough. Having collaborated with them for nearly 10 years, I can say they are the gold standard for reliability. They provide steady work and handle any issues with professional ease and speed. Working with them has been a smooth, worry-free journey from day one.

Since 2018, Mars Translation has been a fantastic partner in my career. Their system is top-tier, making it easy to manage a high volume of work. Most importantly, they truly value their linguists by ensuring timely payments and providing excellent staff support. It’s been a great experience working with them.

Been working with them for four years now, payments are always made before due date, tasks comes in constantly.

Only issue: quite long payment cycle of end of the following month, and you can't forget to bill them by the end of the month otherwise you'll have to wait another month.

Other than that, no problem working with them.

I was contacted through their chat page about doing assignment. I did it and haven't gotten feedback nor have they answered my emails in weeks. I contacted support and nothing either.

Update: It's December now so I guess I was ripped off.

Absolute scam. Do not trust this company if you are a translator - you will not get paid for you work!

Their review system is punitive, prioritizing warnings over feedback. Payments are cut based on reviewers, not clients, and they constantly find ways to avoid paying translators.

2023 August job. Not paid as of 2024/02/13. They do not let to use their so called "Convert to Cash" function - no idea why. They do not reply any of our mails. They do not respond to the Chat. This was a several thousands dollars job. And they do not pay, they do not respond. And we worked for them for years.

The website requests my ID all of the sudden when I want to withdraw my balance via Paypal.
I am a translator and I have been working on it for years and there is no notice of such requirement until Sep 2023.
When I contact them, they simply just tell me that "This is requirement to all linguist, and not only to paypal, but all payment method (once the Accumulated withdrawal amount above 500 USD, the photo is required, thanks. )"
This is a platform for translation service, why do they need our ID? Are they even allowed to do so?
I told them I want to close my account / profile and withdraw all my money, but they won't let me take my balance.

I have been having a great time working with Mars Translation. When I have problems, communication is usually timely, friendly and professional. Highly recommended.

Continue to Spam me every week, even though I have asked them to stop. Relentless and law breaking in this regard.
