I was lucky enough discover Mary Puppins several years ago at their previous location. Kate and James (and Missy) regularly provided dog walking and home care for my 2 small dogs. Scroll forward to a few months ago when I’d relocated from Cheshire and needed the reassurance of knowing that my two precious rescue girls would be happy and well cared for during my 3 week recovery period after surgery. Research of suitable options in my local area was disappointing. So, I was absolutely delighted to reconnect with Mary Puppins again. Even though it’s a much longer journey from my current home in Wales, I knew that my two precious rescue girls, Mollie & Nyima, would be pampered and loved in the wonderful home environment Kate has created. Sincere thanks to the Mary Puppins team for providing such outstanding care. I would not hesitate to recommend them.

We left our fur baby with Kate for 4 nights which was his first time away from home except for the trial. I have separation anxiety from my dog but Kate reassured me with daily updates and pics/videos which really put my mind at rest. Albert had a great time and came home happy, with a great report card and personalised treats 🐶🩷 . We would definitely use Mary Puppins again for our VIP pup!

Absolutely brilliant service. I went away and left my dog Ollie with Kate and her team and came to collect him and he didn't want to come home. I received lots of photos and video updates whilst I was away and could truly enjoy my holiday with peace of mind that he was getting the best care possible. Thank you so much!

Kate and her team are very professional and attentive to my needs.
My little dog Marge means the world to me, I was very nervous about leaving her with just anyone.
She absolutely loved it. Came back looking well rested but had a spring in her step.
The premise’s are lovely and clean, they even have a little training jumps and plenty of thing for dogs to play with.
Would highly recommend for any dog as Marge will be staying again.

Mary Puppins came highly recommended from our doggy daycare, and having had a successful overnight trial, and a recent weeks stay whilst we went on holiday, I can see why.
Kate and her family treated our pup as if she was one of their own, and with regular pupdates, videos and photos it enabled me to enjoy my holiday, knowing she was being loved and cared for whilst we were away.
My pup sadly has a bad back at the moment, so needs to be watched carefully to make sure she isn’t leaping around, has medication, is only allowed on short walks and just generally needs to be wrapped in cotton wool to allow her back to settle down, and Kate adapted the routine to incorporate all of this without batting an eyelid, and I was so grateful. It’s an anxious time leaving your dog and trusting someone to care for them when you go away, even more so when they have an injury, but Kate really went out of her way to give me the reassurance that Elsie was doing great and I could see how comfortable she was in all the correspondence which gave me huge peace of mind.
In a nutshell, Mary Puppins is brilliant and I can’t recommend Kate and her lovely family highly enough.

Mary Puppins is the best dog boarding place for your little fur baby, I can't recommend them enough. Your pooch will be looked after and pampered, Kate is an amazing lady, she looks after my dog as if he was her own, sleeping where is most comfortable for him and making sure he gets all the love, cuddles and kisses he needs.

Mary Puppins isn't just a boarding house for dogs, it's a holiday destination for them, my dog got to make new friends as well which makes me very happy,as he's very shy.

It's the best destination for my dog when I need to travel, I can't praise Kate enough. Absolutely love love Kate and her team.

My teeny girl, Minty, had the absolute best doggy holiday I could've wished for. She's used to being spoilt at home so we wanted somewhere very special for her time away from us. She looked so happy in all the updates. Mary Puppins, you are amazing! Xxx

I was very fortunate that my dog groomer, who is fantastic and knows my dog Barney very well, recommended Mary Puppins to me. It was exactly what I was looking for, a luxury home boarding place for him to stay while we go on holiday. Kate has a lovely, very clean home that is perfectly set up to care for small dogs. An agility course and dog loungers in the garden and plenty of places for them to snooze indoors, including little wigwams! Barney was allowed to go anywhere in the house, just like home. He had a long walk every morning, a shorter walk in the afternoon and even went on runs with her son James, who he took a shine to. Barney also had some new treats, including homemade doggy ice lollies when it was hot. I had pupdates every other day with photos and videos , which was lovely. Kate runs her business very professionally, with lots of love and attention to detail and I had every confidence that Barney was on holiday every bit as much as me! I can’t recommend them highly enough - the perfect place for the little dog you love!

Does what it says on the tin . Luxury Home Boarding. I was initially nervous about leaving the love of my life, just so I could have a holiday! until I took my Pip for her introduction day. What an amazing set up! Lots of activities for the little fur babies from mini obstacle courses, rose petals baths, yes really! Doggie sun loungers and of course Kates little, gentle munchkins for calm company and guidance. I received regular updates, with photos and videos of Pip playing, park walks, sleeping and hanging out with her new friends. Kate understands and loves dogs and I could not recommend her enough.
