I started off year 11 at a grade 3 and 4 and then discovered Mathmo. Within 10 weeks of doing past papers separately, coming to the webinars, using the calculator hacks and making good use of the Mathmo subject library I managed to jump up to a grade 9! It took 30 to 45 minutes daily and then the weekly webinars on Sundays but now I have the confidence I needed in maths to do Maths, further maths and physics at A level. This has been by far the most efficient and most helpful resource available for improving my maths confidence and ability and would 100% recommend it to anyone feeling a bit underwhelmed by their maths scores.

if you even just go to one month of his webinars you can be pretty much guaranteed to jump a grade boundary. this guy explains things so well it acc makes maths easy. i got dragged into the webinars by my dad, and although lit my entire life I've hated maths, i genuinely look forward to joining one of robs webinars to do maths, cuz its highkey fun ash when you can understand it so easily. mathmo is probably top 10 things oat, this is what kirk would've wanted

I just wanted to say how helpful these webinars are!
I just finished a GCSE Higher Past Paper at home to see if I'd be able to pass it in an exam after I've been learning so much on the platform and these webinars.
I was a Grade 2, but I just got a grade 5 on a calculator paper, even though I didn't use a calculator because I thought it was a non calc.
More importantly, I'm actually enjoying maths for the first time!
And Rob's teaching methods are so easy to learn from too!

Great maths from Mathmo. My brother has learned so much with Rob in the last few weeks he is very engaging and his webinars are great, my brother looks forward to maths now which he used to dread.
Mathmo is second to none if your looking for a great maths service this is it.

We started Mathmo with less than 6 weeks to go until the IGCSE Edexcel maths exam. At that point my son was achieving a 4 (and on a bad day not even doing that!)

Those 6 weeks of calculator hacks and little nuggets from Rob made all the difference (particularly to my son's confidence) and the result was a very solid grade 6.

I wish we'd known about Mathmo sooner. With more time, more webinars and more of the charismatic but simplified way that Rob explains things, I have no doubt the grade would have been at least a 7.

I would recommend Mathmo without hesitation and I have already done so to many of my friends.

I went from a 3 (20%) in my set of mocks in October , then, in the next set of mocks in December I got a 6 (53%)!!

Within 3 months I managed to go up 3 grades, having got 3/4s in every other set of mocks I've done.

We found Rob when it became clear my daughter was really struggling with many Maths questions in her revision. I printed out hundreds of past papers and resources which she diligently worked her way through but it was clear she was not going to pass her IGCSE in November at the rate we were going. In October half term we signed up for the 7 day jump a grade boundary challenge, Tabitha worked super hard and took on board all of Rob's tips and suggestions, she went from a 3 to almost a 5 with his help. We are pleased to find out today she has passed with a strong 4 and I honestly think she would not be celebrating had we not found Rob. I do think if we'd have done so sooner she would have got a 5 so anyone wanting to nudge themselves up, from whatever level, will find his help worthwhile.

Rob is an excellent maths tutor who explains concepts clearly and patiently. What really makes a difference are the tips and exam hacks he shares, which genuinely help improve grades and build confidence. My daughter has made clear progress and feels much more prepared for GCSE Maths. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for effective and reliable maths support.

My son has always found maths difficult and very boring. That was before we found Rob's webinars - we are so glad we have. Rob understands how teenagers think and is able to get them to positively and actively engage, making the sessions fun whilst they learn invaluable calculator hacks and exam techniques. My son has just been made maths star of the term at school for the first time, so although it is a few years until GCSEs, we are already seeing the results. Had a 3 grade jump from a 1 to a solid 4 which would have been a 5 in 2024. I regularly joined the free online tutoring at the start of this. Then when the webinars finished moved to the free sessions online. This was over soo sooo helpful as lots of methods were taught in much simpler ways + unlocking the genius thing/hack your calculator can do. Overall a very positive experience.

We had silver subscription and when we initially looked through the resources on offer - it can seem a bit overwhelming. However, each of the videos are very concise and focused and are developed in a way that aims to chunk up the syllabus. Rob himself is excellent and manages to encourage and really inject a tonne of positivity into the videos and webinars. This is no mean feat for a subject like Maths. It really gave my daughter some encouragement and confidence to believe that she could do well. As with any other maths tutoring aid, you have to engage and do the work but the way the videos and aids are conducted provides a real framework that my daughter found easy to engage with. My daughter was wondering whether she would get to a 5 and perhaps was expecting a 4 but ended up with a band 6 and a mark that was exactly mid point between a 6 and a 7 - the point being she didn't even just scrape the band 6. We both firmly believe even with another month of time and with the Rob Mathmo tools, she could have done even better. Finally, since results day, my daughter has been reminding/encouraging/nagging me that I need to provide feedback to 'Rob Mathmo'. This is a indicator of the impact Mathmo has on her ability and her confidence. I infomred her that it was just a generic request for feedback but she is insistent that i make sure to provide feedback for others who feel like the mountain of doing well in Mathematics is insurmountable. I, as a parent would say that 'Rob Mathmo' is better vale for money than a tutor but you will also have to consider how each individual child works best. If we were to have the time again - we would have had the subscription for a year and gone through every video and webinar in a more planned way. What we did actually was to have the subscription for around 4 months. Me and my daughter would definitely recommend Mathmo!!!

My daughter was at grade 3 in mock exams she didn’t do a lot of Mathmo as we were quite late signing up, only did about a month or two and that was all that was needed to get those extra marks to get her a grade 4. The calculator tips and tricks were a massive help. I would recommend to anyone who is struggling and the way that Rob teaches is really on the same level as kids I.e not boring, he makes it interesting and easy to listen to and learn.

Grades were lost at mocks and schools declined me, I was heartbroken, destroyed and in such a dismal state. Rob, the saviour of my grades, boosted not only my grades, but my mentality, confidence, and skills not just in maths, but maths related subjects. I went from a grade U to a grade 7 at maths gcse. I would like to thank Rob for all the hard work he has done and i’m grateful to him and God that I’m now able to go to grammar school. What a great teacher.
