I research a number of online sites before engaging Matr for maths tuition for my granddaughter. She has only had four sessions but to date I have no complaints - the admin side went very smoothly and the tutors have been professional and patient. When I needed to change the time of a session this was arranged quickly. Above all the price is very reasonable.

The MATR sessions are making my son (age 8) think on his own in the knowledge that his tutor is there helping him.
The technical and admin support people are excellent and really friendly.

Since my daughter has joined matr she has learnt alot and really enjoys spending time with her tutor. It is so affordable and you get very good repirts after each session. It clearly explains what your child has learnt amd needs improvement on and im so pleased i have this for my daughter.

We have been using Matr for a couple of months now and it has really helped with my daughter's confidence in Maths. We love being able to have a tutorial at a time that suits us from the comfort of home, without it costing the earth. The tutor works through the material at a pace that suits my daughter, faster though the content she is clearly comfortable with, and slower if needed. I really like being able to see what she has covered in the lesson, and the additional maths worksheets. I wish I had found Matr sooner!

Matr provide a fantastic service. The tutors explain methods clearly and concisely, and my son stays engaged throughout the lesson. When we do his usual school homework, it can be a bit of a chore, but when it is time for his Matr lesson, he happily hops on the laptop and gets stuck in.

My daughter loves her lessons. She is so much more confident. Her tutor is calm and takes the lessons at the right speed. My daughter has to explain whats being done and why, which has really helped with her reasoning.

Matr sessions were great! It suited us very well. My daughter is in year 6 and she is doing year 7 program. She has definitely improved in maths and looks forward for her sessions. Good value for money

I'm just happy I found this virtual maths lesson for my kids, its something they look forward to every week now. Their tutor is amazing, patient and good with maths. Also, the weekly charges is affordable, they communicate as much as possible too if need be. Keep up the good standard Matr.

I am very impressed!!! My son has been using Matr for a couple of months now, and even though it is still early days, he is really enjoying the lessons. Matr have been very helpful and accommodating in all areas, especially as we live abroad in Norway.
The tutor is wonderful, calm and very experienced.

My son loves the sessions. He always says he has had fun and that they end too quickly. Easy for him to use the interactive format. Kept his knowledge going over the summer break.

We are 6 lessons in, my son ( a reluctant mathematician) is really enjoying the one to one faceless aspect of the tuition. He is not afraid to make mistakes and he is becoming more confident in explaining his understanding. MATR are really flexible about changing times of sessions - when life gets in the way. He is happy to stick with this tuition and time will tell as to the impact this will make to his maths scores at school. We are very happy with the whole experience.

I have been totally impressed with the excellent service both I and my son have received since starting with Matr. My son's tutor is wonderful and she works hard to make sure he understands the chosen topic thoroughly. He is learning at his pace and it is working really well for him. I can watch him while he learns and I can see where he needs extra support, so I can help too by using the additional worksheets provided in my admin area. I was never able to get this kind of information from his teacher at school.

My son really enjoys the classes and the reward system for him is really encouraging. He is now able to ask for help when he doesn't understand, which has been a big stumbling block for him at school.

I must also give a massive word of praise for the administration staff. The sessions are very flexible and we have been able to change classes easily when we have not been able to make an appointment. The staff are both fast and exceptionally courteous. They all have a really helpful attitude when I speak to them.

I have been telling all my friends about this service as I am so impressed.

My daughter struggles with maths and I have tried (unsuccessfully) many different ways to try to encourage her. However tutoring with Matr has been a great success. She learns new things every session and even more remarkable is that she never complains about having to sit online for an hour with her tutor. Indeed she positively looks forward to her sessions, especially as we have been lucky to be able to have the same tutor. The organisation have a very responsive customer support whenever I have any questions. My only regret is I didn’t know about this until now. Worth every penny!
