Great experience with Maverick Trading for several years now. They were upfront with the process and fees to get started and held up their end of the deal at every step. Their education is top notch - don't be put off by the price. You'll lose more trying to learn as you go with real money than what it costs to get comprehensive training from successful veteran traders. I highly recommend this prop firm to anyone who's interested in trading for part time/full time income.

Solo trader learning what I can in my free time over the years Maverick helped show me a lot of different things to consider in assessing the market. The randomness that seemed to haunt my demo account trades over the years started to get clearer, the more I applied what I learned into my toolbox. Maverick offers a lot of material, tons of videos, and sound advice from seasoned professionals. As I’m keen on testing everything I learn, I have more notes than time spent building what now is starting to make decent returns above any of my previous strategies. And there is more to go! I’m much less confused, and much more confident on my approach to assessing, testing, journaling, analyzing, and building a profitable system. Look forward to continuing my journey into the future and glad I made the choice with Maverick.

This is a MUCH deserved positive review. I joined in June 2023 and waited over 2 years before sharing my experience. I wanted to wait until I reached the top before deciding how legitimate they are. I’ve had very nice payouts as promised, but only because I put in the work!

I wouldn’t listen to most of the negative reviews on here because Trading is not meant to be easy that’s why most people fail.

This company wants committed traders and will back you up with significant amounts of money if you put in the work.

Their on-boarding fees etc are very fair and yes there are joining fees because it takes a tonne of time, effort, and energy to help their traders succeed and nobody will just give money to a stranger. If you’re serious, you will pay the fee. You always get what you pay for, and there’s a tonne of free content by them on YouTube. You will get a feel about what they’re about.

Maverick Trading has been around for a long time and for good reason.

If you’re an options trader wanting to become better at it, then look no further.

The ONLY thing I wish I knew is that the amounts for level advancement are not static, but it depends on your risk management, your profits, your strategy, the amount you leave in the account, etc… I don’t think this would have affected my decision to join at all, but it’s good to know.

Overall I’m happy with my level advancements. There are still opportunities to grow , much faster than someone can do with their own money, and Maverick DOES have the money to help you scale

Advice to new people considering joining the firm: drop the ego, show up with a good attitude, have faith, take full responsibility for your actions, and put in the work. Good things will come and You will thank yourself later

I'm so glad to join Maverick Trading, where I have learnt a lot of professional practical trading techniques that I cannot learn from the college before. From the useful training course in Maverick, it is worth learning the secret of success in trading skills, ranging from position sizing, risk reward ratio and option values. It is so important to do more demo paper trades before entering the real live trading market. I feel like I am well prepared and well trained by my mentor, Joe in Maverick. Very grateful and happy!

Joining Maverick Trading was the single best decision I ever made regarding my trading career. They specialize in options trading, which is the best way to trade in my opinion. The training curriculum is very in depth and thorough. It's a long process to get through all of the material, but it is worth every minute. You can tell the management there is serious about trading and love what they do. It shows with their presentations and coaching sessions.
Another reason I joined Maverick was to be part of a family that trades the market for a living. Trading can be a lonely career and having Maverick there helps you out a lot in that you can talk to other traders, exchange ideas and most importantly learn!
Besides the in depth training material, the personal touch of having access to very knowledgeable coaches is the cherry on top. It is very nice to speak to a very experienced traders and learn more about trading then you can even imagine. This is a very cool aspect to Maverick.
Mavericks top-down approach to trading is very nice as well. They use basket trading, which was knew to me, but have found it to be a good fit for me and my personality. A great approach to trading the markets.
There are capital requirements you must make to join Maverick in order to trade with their capital, but it is worth every penny, especially after you have gone through their training program.
I cannot recommend Maverick Trading enough. If you enjoy trading options, then Maverick is the best place for you. I know I am very happy to be part of Maverick family!

Maverick Trading has delivered exactly what they promised — a structured, professional pathway to becoming a consistently profitable trader.

Before joining, my trading was inconsistent, with risk levels and execution discipline varying from trade to trade. After completing the program, my trade plan compliance rate is near perfect, my average loss size has been reduced by over a third, and my R:R structure has improved to consistently meet or exceed the 2:1 target.

Now trading live capital, I can say with confidence that the training process has prepared me both technically and mentally for the demands of professional trading. This is not a “get rich quick” program — it’s a high-standard environment where results come from following a proven process.

They act first like they search for traders I have contacted them with proven track record and anything I thought they are professional after 3 or 4 emails btw the last one they were asking for money 4000$ and some monthly fees and start talking about psychology and course I don’t even care about what they said ! It’s very weird when I tell them that they never answer yet until now because they know that it’s not good to charge people for money the weird part in their description they don’t mention anything about money just they said were looking for traders and bla bla bla … when they text u before the interview they ask u for fesss please run a way of this company its not professional at all

If you are serious about becoming a professional trader and have the time and motivation to complete an intense, in-depth training curriculum with great instructors, consider joing Maverick Trading. You will learn the ins-and-outs of market dynamics, technical analysis, and a multitude of options strategies to use depending on market conditions and outlook. Sure, there is a $7K fee for the training, but it becomes fully refundable once you finish the program, have your trading plan approved, and generate the equivalent amount in returns based on an initial 70/30 split in profit with the firm. In other words, once you generate about $23,500 in gross profit, the firm will return your $7K investment. Provide a performance bond of $5K, and the firm will start you off with a $25K account to trade. Every staff member I've interacted with from the initial screening interview through the training program has been wonderful. I highly recommend the program/firm.

Be careful of these fakers. Everywhere online you’ll see their employees flooding sites with duplicate reviews over and over to scam people. They use their program to sell you strategies that are hard to get to the next level and the opposite of what you want to use to “grow” an account. Eventually your deposit and the monthly fees are worth it for them since they take no risk. Their “traders” have independent coaching companies online for more fraud.

I started with Maverick as I was looking for a more professional environment than what the mainstream 'online prop firms' are offering nowadays.

After several months of working with them I can only say positive things. I am now funded with real firm capital and the support from the Maverick is unmatched, from the educational material to the 1-on-1 sessions.

If you are serious about trading professionally, reach out to them and be ready to put in time and effort it. IT IS ABSOLUTELY WORTH IT !!!

I've been trading with Maverick Trading for a while now, and I can't say enough good things about the experience. Since joining, I've been impressed by the support and resources available to help traders succeed. It has been a great experience trading with Maverick. The ongoing mentorship and coaching along with a great profit split.

Followed their procedures till the interview stage.
Setting it up the same interviewer, used 2 telephone numbers, 1 in CA and one in NC, which seemed fishy. The interviewer sent me a text setting up (telephone) appointment. He did not respond to my texts, calls, or emails to confirm, which seemed a bit unprofessional. In any case, he called me about 10 minutes past the scheduled time. Quizzed me about my experience (been in market since 1977 and I currently trade a 7 figure account.) At some point during the call (from the NC number) suddenly call ended. I thought his phone lost power or maybe it was hurricane related. He did not respond to calls, texts, or emails (just like when interview set up).

Something about this lack of communication strikes me as NOT TRUSTWORTHY. Even if interviewer concluded somewhere during interview that I was not a good match for the firm, a curt one liner "Sorry, not a match for us", would seem more professional and decent. I am a believer in how you do anything is a sign of how you do everything. The lack of communication, lateness, and rudeness is a good sign that they are not the ones to do business with.

I have been working with Maverick currencies for approx. 5 months now and wanted to share a review of my experience for anyone who is considering joining them.

I learnt of Maverick through a podcast called The Trading Psychology Podcast which features a trader/author by the name of VP and is cohosted by Robb Reinhold from Maverick. The two of them discuss the psychological world of trading and the roller coaster of emotion you can expect when entering such a domain.

I was/am brand new to trading and only developed an interest after searching for ways to help a friend that was succumbing to all the stereotypical horror stories you find from those that enter markets to make a quick buck. As I learnt more the appeal of being able to apply a systematical approach to draw a future additional income appealed to my personality and I made the decision to apply any extra free time to learning how to develop my skills and understanding of the trading business.

Why Maverick – I was endeared to the nature in which the topics and content of the podcast were delivered. It felt to me a very honest account of what to expect and provided a wealth of considerations which I could apply focus to. I had the feeling that if I were to work for a company, I would want it to be with people like that, however until looking through the Maverick currencies site I had no idea of their desire to take on and mentor new traders.

There is a wealth of information you can learn for yourself online, however in my experience most was anchored into trying to sell you something, and so I thought it best to enter a community of experienced traders where the focus was for us to be mutually profitable.

The Interview – More of a getting to know one another to see if you are a suitable fit for each another. A very pleasant experience with everything laid out clearly and time given, after acceptance, to decide and make sure it is right for you. They also give you access to the training platform during this time so you can play around and experience how it all works. That really helped in my decision as it felt very well put together.

Training – There are a series of online modules and tests that you have to complete followed by time spent in a practice account. I found these very well put together and you are assigned coaches for the each of the progressing units who help and encourage you to not only learn their methods, but also create your own trading plan. Scheduling time with the coaches was easy and there was an abundance of times to choose from throughout the day. You do have to take the initiative with all of the help that is offered, nobody is going to be chasing you as are free to go at your own pace, however, help and assistance is always there whenever you request it.

Fees – I did hesitate for a moment prior to accepting their offer as there are reviews out there which talk of Maverick being a scam and a rip off in regard to the fees that are charged. In the end I decided to make my decision based on the experience I’d had with the people/company and not that of an unknown person ranting online. Yes, there are fees and dependent on your circumstance / perception these could appear high. My mindset is that this a long-term investment and I want to give myself the best possible chance of being successful. Maverick is a business, and they have to weigh out the risk/reward of taking on someone new that is unknown and unproven to them. I think the business model is incredibly smart and makes a lot of sense when you take it all into consideration. In my opinion It encourages, supports and rewards those that are willing to work and be disciplined in their trading career.



In conclusion I have no regret embarking on my trading journey with Maverick. The training and ongoing support has been incredible, and I feel like I'm progressing every day. If I were to do one thing differently, I would have started watching their daily currency recaps from the start vs after going live, although maybe that would have been information overload, who knows!

The process of becoming a funded trader with Maverick Trading is fast and smooth if you have the potential and will to make it. However, thinking you can easily dominate a $200 billion to $300 billion daily market is laughable. You have to give everything you've got to succeed, but the Maverick team will support you with their experience and knowledge. It’s a hard path to an easier life. In the end, the costs (which are not low) are just a drop in the ocean compared to the benefits you can gain. Don't forget that you will receive the initial fee back once you make enough profit.

To succeed in this quest, it's crucial to have knowledgeable people by your side. I recommend Maverick Trading to anyone who wants to gain knowledge and experience in this asymmetric field. Work smarter, not harder!

I joined Maverick Trading in December 2023 after learning about them through the "Trading Psychology" podcast. The head trader of Maverick is one of the hosts on the podcast, and I would highly recommend the podcast to anyone who is serious about trading. It was life changing for me and covers one of the most important parts of trading (your own psychology).

It took me 4 months to get through their training curriculum. I would like to caution others that how long it takes to get through the training is completely dependent on each individual's trading experience and motivation. I would consider myself more advanced than the average trader when it comes to trading different options strategies, and it took me about 2 months to go through their training material and develop my trading plan. Once I submitted my trading plan, I began to demo trade for another 2 months.

At the end of my demo trading period, I became a funded trader as promised. I thoroughly enjoy having access to trading coaches, where I have worked with Joe so far during my demo trading.

I would recommend traders who would like to focus on options trading and would appreciate having the support of the firm whenever you need through coaching sessions, they are a great group of people and I look forward to continuing to work with them.

This company is a wonderful proprietary trading firm to work for. It's legit. Once you complete the extensive training process, they indeed give you an initial $25,000 to start trading. The staff is amazingly responsive to questions. I definitely feel I have the support of the admin staff and traders to help me be a successful trader.

The most complete training platform including trading strategies, capital management and a whole lot more. If you are serious about learning the business and want to start a new career I highly recommend joining the Maverick Trading team.

So I've been trading with Maverick for a year. In my experience I would like to give an unbiased opinion by highlighting my likes and dislikes.

Dislikes - None.
Likes-fast response and trader support. There's never been a time that I reached out to a mentor/senior trader that they did not respond promptly. Most times the next day. I struggled quite a bit with developing my own plan and my discipline still needs improvement but I'm not alone. I've had meaningful conversations with Maverick senior staff that has helped me become more professional and have consistent wins in the market. If you are a trader thinking of joining Maverick I would ask you two questions: get serious and what are you waiting for?

Maverick is full of helpful people. They want you to do well and the fees are low compared to other trading shops. That said, nobody can teach you discipline....In my opinion, the appropriate time to begin live trading with Maverick is after you have grown your personal account by 12k using similar trading rules as they teach. Jumping in (with any firm) expecting any magic or shortcuts is a recipe for losses.
