I consider the company uses false and misleading advertising.
Headline advertisement: there is a 30-day free trial for the Maxophone. However, the only option that involves a "free trial" includes a requirement to purchase hardware.
A reasonable person would not consider a "free trial" to include some kind of mandatory purchase.
Real waste of a consumer's time.

The MaxoTel system is easily the most feature rich, easy to use and cost effective hosted phone system I have encountered. Very rarely do I require any assistance with the systems features, but when I do I have never been let down by the support. Could not recommend them more highly
Maxo are the bomb.
The only thing that surpasses the Maxo platform in terms of self service and expectation is the timeliness and technical competence of the support team. As a whitelabel customer who has been on both sides of the consumer and supplier table with other carriers, Maxo is by far the most reliable, technically adept, and most importantly, consistent in all aspects of business.

Every time I log into my Maxo portal there is new features that are perfect for our needless, the product is cost effective even on a large scale and has never let us down.

Not just a great VoIP & Hosted PBX Provider
MaxoTel is not just the best VoIP and hosted PBX provider out there (believe me I have tried many before finding Maxo), they are one of the best businesses I have come across. From products, pricing, service and support these guys get it.
Phone support is answered by a real person in seconds, support emails always answered promptly, voice quality is excellent and features continue to be added - they listen to their customers and actually implement new features based on customer feedback. But most importantly, the service is rock solid.
Despite their growth, the level of service continues to remain stellar. I could go on, but if you're looking for a VoIP provider for your business, you can't do better than Maxo, you'll never be disappointed, and you'll continue to be impressed with how well these guys operate.

Outstanding Provider
After sharing office space with another company who had their own PBX (physical) I was in need for a hosted solution.
To be honest I didn't really understand much of the jargon when i started looking around - so I needed something that was intuitive to use, had great support staff and most importantly - worked seamlessly.
I have used them for a year now and the team at Maxo are flawless. Nothing is too hard, they helped with my many numerous questions and whilst having to work from home with COVID were an absolute godsend.
In 11+ years of running a business, I'm not sure I've had a service provider who whom I am so happy to pay my bill each month.
I couldn't recommend these guys enough. I've referred them to others (including the previous business I worked with) and they are now advocates like i am.

We use Maxo for a hosted PBX system for our hospitality group. The phones are great, rates are competitive, and we can always get help quickly in the very rare instances that we need it. System was very easy to set up and is very robust. Would highly recommend to anyone considering.
Maxotel, our first VOIP provider was perfect for us.
We switched from the copper network to our first ever VOIP using Maxotel cloud hosted PBX over our Fixed wireless NBN and we couldn't be happier.
Whilst setting everything up support was excellent, wait times were less than 30 seconds before I could talk to someone ( and I talked to them *alot* whilst I was setting up the VOIP transition). I had one one poor experience where I was steered wrong by one tech at one point, but another tech was able to help me out after I had continued trouble. We ported our numbers to Maxotel and we were kept informed of the port progress at every stage (unlike another Telco ending in "stra"), and I never really felt in the dark about our account progress.
We also ordered some Yealink deskphones from Maxotel, which came pre-configured and plug and play. Plugged them into the network and they *just worked* and were easily configured and provisioned using the web UI. Further configuration on the phones was easy enough, and though I didn't need it, Maxotel offers guided setup if required.
The phone options are many and varied, call spy, call steal, paging, hiding caller id, joining and leaving queues can all be done from the phone. The cloudphone app allows mobile clients to have calls transferred seamlessly to their mobile and allows them to call into any extension.
The rest of the web UI is easy to use and has so many options we didn't even need half of them, but it was extremely simple to create IVRs, hold music, ring groups, ring queues, voice mail, announcements, diversions and address books, conference rooms, all standard, not paid addons.
Lag/Jitter is almost non-existent, voice quality is excellent (call quality is better than our old copper!) and our users forget we are even using VOIP.
Price wise we are saving hundreds of dollars a month on our old copper service, and now we have multiple concurrent lines instead of just 2.
Overall, we are extremely pleased with our decision to choose Maxotel as our first VOIP provider.

Best experience I have had with a Telco.
Whist Telstra had wait times of 2 hours during the height of the pandemic, Maxo was answering calls within 30 seconds by very knowledgeable support.
I was having trouble setting up my new voip service and a Maxo technician was helpful enough to screen share with me and configure my Grandstream ATA device, which i was extremely surprised by.
Additionally our bill is a fraction what it used to be with Telstra and have access to a range of new features like web hosted voicemai, call recording and virtual fax.
